Golden Harvest is an Australian brand so this review is for aussies. Vitamin E ointment is an odd name for this product, which is a cream consistency. It contains 6% vitamin e, and 2% pro vitamin b in a non greasy cream base. The ingredients for the base are not listed on the tube. The pros: it is non greasy and moisturising, the tube is a handy size and the cream contains a good amount of the two skin friendly vitamins. The cons: the fragrance is overpowering!!! Why on earth would any company put such a large amount of strong fragrance in a product meant to be used on irritated or mildly wounded skin?
Who knows? Who cares? What I care about is the fact that I can smell this cream for a good two hours after I put it on, which is a pity, because apart from the fragrance, this is a decent product. Cost is around $5AU for a 60 ml tube, available in the health care section of most supermarkets.
