The smell is absolutely horrid. Like they tried to add a nice smell but it went wrong. Idk if I could put it on again solely for that reason.

I read rave reviews of this stuff on the sephora website and thought I would give it a try. Because my expereience with CD's products are hit and miss, I wanted to go to sephora to smell it before I bought it. They didn't have it in stock so I ordered it online. Yes, this stuff will allow you a nice brown tan BUT the smell is terrible and it lingers. If it had no smell or smelled tropical (coconut/lime/pineapple) then I would purchase again...but since it doesn't...I would not recommend, nor buy it again.

Well, it is a tanning oil, so I shouldn't complain that it is greasy, but this oil is really really greasy. Too greasy to slather on at home and then drive to the beach because the oil will end up all over your clothes and car seats. The only way I could see myself using this oil is just in a bathing suit, sitting on a towel on the beach. But not good for just being out in the sun jogging, gardening, etc. Smells tropically at first, but has a strong chemically after-scent. This is very similar to CD's Hair Balm in texture, so I bet this could double as a hair oil.
