i had started out using cliniques acne system which cleared me up fast but left me red and dry. a few months later, i switched to their basic 3step system which gave me the highly sought glowing skin with no blemishes. this didnt last tho, a few weeks later my face broke out like crazy. literally 20 zits popped up on my 4head overnight. i was so upset and self conscious; i hadnt realized how much a clear face boosted my confidence. a week or 2 later, a friend gave me this product to try since she never used it. i did exactly as it said, using it right before bed. in the morning, i would use the clinique 3step. i was fairly satisfied, seeing improvements over night. i continued this regimen 4 a few more weeks until i noticed that i was starting to break out again (i dont know if it was because of this product, clinique, or just my hormones). i went back to just using clinique which did an alright job, nothing to brag about. a month or 2 l8r i decided to give the product anothr try which is what i have been doing for the past few days. this time tho im only washing my face with clinique about every other day. my acne has gone down by about 40-50% in less than half a week. im now happier than i have been in months

Honestly, I didn't expect so much about this product... but I love it!! My pores look better and my skin is softer. I've been using it for 2 months. It doesn't feel greasy and of course that I will buy it again :)

I use this cleanser with the Avon toner pads and Avon spot treatment. Nothing else keeps my skin clear the way these products do, and I've tried many products from expensive to cheap.. Very high quality, wonderful product especially for such a low price!

Overall I think this is a really great product. I definitely saw results in my skin. It looked a lot clearer than usual & a bit tighter. However, it was a bit strong for my face even though I have oily, acne prone skin. I used this twice daily for 4 days and my skin became inflamed. This is my fault though, I was overusing this product. So make sure you are using every other day or maybe even less so you don't get the same problem. Ah yes! My favorite!
I kept thinking that this wasn't enough for my skin (it's basic). So I kept running to other cleansers and I always come back to this beauty! in Ontario, Canada, it's only 6.99$ so you can't go wrong. It does what it claims without stripping your whole face of moisture. It cleans, refreshes, smells nice, isn't complicated, and my acne is destroyed! Pair this with a lemon half squeezed unto a cotton pad as a toner, and you will thank me and the citrus Gods~!

I actually really like this. The look and smell may scare people away but i think they're both awesome :D~. It looks like a blue liquidy plastic and smells good to me, not the typical avon smell. It does an ok job at helping my skin stay clear. will repurchase (:

I absolutely LOVE this cleanser! It doesn't over dry my face, doesn't smell bad, and makes my face feel completely smooth after I use it! I will tell you, I really dislike cream cleansers that are thick and hard to use over the sink. Those are the type of cleaners I would only use in the shower. I tend to use those gel like cleaners for the sink. This is NOT thick and it comes off just fine! It's hard for me to say what my HG items are because I always like to switch up... but I could rank this as my top 5 HG cleaners! Im also an AVON Rep. so I did get this at a very good discount but even if I didn't... last campaign was ONLY $2.99!!! Can't beat that.

I must say, i find a lot of Avon products very plasticy in texture though i know thats because they don't use as many natural ingredients as other brands. Nevertheless, this was a nice cleanser to use...and though i wasn't crazy about the medicinal smell and the tightness it left on my skin after rinsing, it certainly did what it promised.
My complexion was thoroughly cleansed of make up and felt purer.
For such a good price, i may contemplate repurchasing.

I tried this on a whim because I really I had nothing to lose!! I am 51, large pored and oily and I have had a rash of acne lately with some cystic bumps.
I am very very happy with this cleanser!! It dries up my oilies and has flattened out those cystic bumps. My pores are small and all after 2 days of use.
It has a really pretty clean-like scent that I love, not overpowering. I use about a quarter size of product and then wash with it, takes off makeup completly for me. It isn't a foamy lather, more like a lotiony type of lather. Rinses clean and I don't feel tight afterwards.
Will buy again, great buy!!
**Update** I just bought three more of these, these is truly a HG product for me now. It keeps my skin free of oil throughout the day w/out drying me out so my skin has to keep producing more oil. My blackheads are completely gone. I just love this cleanser. Watch Avon discontinue this now!!

I'll start with some backround on my acne. I used to have severe acne which only responded to benzoil peroxide which is in proactive and acne free. Now that I'm older and my hormones are regular I don't get nearly as much acne, just every now and again but generally my skin is clear, but I get some breakout now and again. I tried this and it delivers, my acne looked smaller and less red after one use. Will purchase again. I have a problem with redness so anything that delivers is worth it

I think this is working its way up to being my HG cleanser. I have really oily skin and acne-prone skin, so this cleanser helps with both. The directions say to leave it on for 30 seconds after you've washed your face, and it really makes a difference. You'll feel a cooling, clean sensation even after you're out of the shower. It's very refreshing.
I bought this cleanser a long time ago, but let a friend borrow it to use so I never got to use it to its full potential. Avon was having a 4 for $10 sale so I decided to pick another 2 of these cleansers up and so far (about 1 1/2 weeks), it's been helping a lot.
I use this in addition with the Clearskin scrub and Avon Magix. Seems like my skin is getting better already. :)
UPDATE: Over a year later, I'm still using this cleanser! My acne has gotten better. I've stopped using the Clearskin scrub though (it broke me out), and replaced that routine with an Aspirin Mask 2-3x a week. My face looks and feels great.

Great cleanser for removing blackheads but not over-drying. Also doesn't take off self-tanner. Love this stuff - on my third tube.
PS I have 40+ very oily skin, some fine lines around eyes, fair skin, little sensitive with some products.

I have to say I am pretty impressed with this cleanser and have good luck with the Clearskin line in general. I really feel that this cleanser has been effective in keeping my face clear and relatively zit free! For the price, it's great. I don't really have acne though so I can't say how effective it's immediate results would be for someone that did, but if you are just looking to keep your complexion clear from the occasional break out I think this is a good product. My only complaint is that when I received the bottle it was only about 75% full.

Product label claims that in clinical tests. this product significantly reduces blemish size and redness after one use. It does not. It is a basic cleanser containing 2% salicylic acid. Has a fresh scent that I do not care for and won't repurchase. Paraben free.
