I love what the brand EcoTools stand for so that's what attracted me to their brushes instead of Manicare etc. at Priceline. Very affordable brush line & this is a decent basic foundation brush. Hasn't ever shed for all the years I've had this, but just gets less priority now as I favor my Sigma Kabuki brushes :) Recommend this for a basic foundation brush that's affordable! continued >>

This brush is SO SOFT! I sometimes just rub it on my face after it's cleansed for fun :). Bad part is that it creates a lot of streaks.
I haven't used a flat foundation brush in years. I always go for flat top brushes or buffing brushes for foundation, but after getting my colour match at Lancôme and adored the finish it gave me, I thought I'll buy one that's cheap and well reviewed. I brought this brush, and I wasn't let down at all. This brush is fantastic. I did, however find I needed more foundation then I would normally use with my sigma F80, but because the finish is so beautiful, I can forgive it. It comes in a pouch that you can reuse, the down side is you need to cut of the plastic that allows the brush to be hung up in the store. A more useful design would be a plastic thread that can be cut off once home, without having sharp plastic edges. All in all this foundation brush is amazing and boos have a deal at the moment on ecotool (buy one get one half price) so now I know there good, there's no stopping me.
P.s I saw a few reviews that said the brush made there foundation streaky. One of the best ways to combat that is use swirling moments as well as quick strokes.
This foundation brush goes on a bit streaky but a bit more blending helps make it even. You also have to use more foundation with this brush which is a no-no. The price is dirt cheap like $3.30 on ebay! I also got one for $6 but its okay anyway. This is a pretty good beginner brush but if only it didn't streak this would be perfect. I would definately buy this again!
It only leaves streaks if you don't wash it and the foundation dries on it.
It doesn't feel soft enough for my eye area I think, but otherwise I like it.
I'm not a fan of this brush. I find that my foundation goes on a bit streaky and the brush makes it hard to control my application. Most of all, I find I have to use a lot more foundation while using this brush.
Overall, I much prefer applying my make up with a wedge sponge, which gives me better control over my look and gives me a dewier (rather than pasty) appearance. This also saves my foundation from being used up too quickly.
I'm on my second foundation brush- my first one's bristles came right out after washing it one time. I believe that was my own error though, as the brush is just fine. I think, like many others have said, I'd have better luck with a stippling brush. It's easy to get a bit streaky with this one because it's so flat, more like a paintbrush. I think I paid about $6 for this at Wal-Mart, so I'd say it works pretty well for the price. I'm not crazy about the little reusable pouch that this brush comes in- it's great that it's reusable, but who keeps all their brushes in separate pouches? I prefer to keep them all in one roll or cup. I MIGHT buy this again if a good stippling brush is not easily accessible to me.
Before this brush i would use my fingers until i saw so many beauty gurus saying "USE A BRUSH" so i decided to invest in one. I didn't really want much just a regular brush and this one looked nice and it is it works well blending, the bristles don't shed and its lightweight and portable
Awesome brush. I've had mine for months and its going strong. Soft yet firm, and does a great job of blending and applying liquid and cream/stick foundations.

Not a great foundation brush, but I suppose you get what you pay for. The bristles are stiff and very hard to get clean. When using this brush, foundation goes on streaky... it's also very hard to reach certain places with this brush, such as around the nose. All in all, it's an okay brush, but there are definitely better out there.
