love this flat iron. my boyfriend bought it for me for christmas this year and said he did a bunch of research on them to get me a good one. i love it so far. it doesn't damage the hair which good. it heats up fast which i like and it only takes a few minutes to do my whole head. i can't imagine it'll last the whole 10 years but it's nice to have the warranty. i love it and highly reccomend

This is a review for the MT-7030 Model. I went into Trade Secrets planning to buy the CHI flat iron but their sales associate talked me into buying this instead. She told me this was reputable brand and came with a 10 year limited warranty. I was impressed with the warranty since I read that CHI does not come with a comparable warranty. After she tested the iron on my hair I was sold. I paid $149.95 CDN for this iron which was a bit pricey since I never spent that much ever on a hair styling tool.

The iron features (took this directly from box)
- Tourmaline Ceramic Plates
- 360 Degrees Rotating Cord
- Ionic and Far-Infrared Benefits
- Adjustable Temp up to 400 F/200 C

It's a thin iron, only 28 mm but it's perfect for my hair type. I have fine, long hair past my shoulders with a slight wave. I find the iron very easy to use and i spend only about 10 minutes to do my entire head. Which I love! Ladies with thicker, coarser or curly hair might need more time given the iron is thinner.

This does not fry my hair or make it limp. It smooths my hair and adds shine. Plus I always make sure to use some heat protectant spray beforehand. The heat control settings is handy as you can control how hot you want the iron to be.
