Love it. Smells tropical coming out of the bottle, and the smell isn't changing the longer the bottle's been open, probably because it's air-tight (pressurized dispenser) so air can't mess with the formula like it always does with regular lotion-type self-tanners. The smell on your skin afterwards is OK; of course there's a bit of that DHA smell because DHA always smells like that in reaction with skin, but I do think the "odor-blocking" component is helping in this regard. I bought the medium shade and it's not orange or too dark on me, and I'm pretty fair. BTW I bought this when looking for Jergens' new foaming self-tanner but it was never in stock at any store here, so I gave up and found this baby instead!

This product sucks a##. I don't know what I did wrong, but the 'medium dark' lotion left me looking dark orange, streaky and with an unnatural color. I was already naturally tanned to begin with but wanted a little more intense color. So I tried this on my neck/chest, legs and a bit on the arms. Bad idea. I scrubbed the %$%& out of myself and used alcohol rub to get rid of the disgusting, streaky color. Whatever is left now is slowly coming off and making my skin look blotchy. If you don't wear gloves, you will have an orange stain on your palms for DAYS. The pump bottle pumps out way too much at once. Everything about this sucked, sorry. I much prefer Jergens natural glow lotion in medium-tan, which although is gradual but does not make you look like an Oompa Loompa who tried too hard.

I am typically an NC25 without any natural tan and I have recently started using self-tanners more religiously, as in at least once a week to keep my tan. I really enjoy the color of this (I have in Medium/Dark). The packaging is fine, and the smell is not any worse than any other self-tanners. Pleasant smell when applying, but of course when the DHA reacts with your skin that self tanner smell is present. However, I will not be reusing or repurchasing this product because it does not seem to dry. It's great that it is moisturizing, but I just cant stand the feeling like I am not "dry" for hours and hours afterwards. I always apply self tanner before bed, and never really have any issues with drying. My sheets stuck to my skin even after air-drying for at least 20 minutes after application. It might be something I use only on my legs for maintenance, but too tacky/sticky to use all over.

This is probably one of the better drugstore self tanners. Its relatively cheap - this ran me about $10. I picked this up in the medium shade, for reference right now I am about an nc25 and I have to say that medium was a good choice for my skin tone. This has a slight self tanner smell as the tan begins to develop, but personally I did not find it overwhelming like many other self tanners. I like the color payoff after one use. Over night this turned into a nice bronze color. To me this is the gives slightly more color than a gradual self tanner. This didn't streak for me and was easy to apply. I exfoliated before use and applied some of my BBW's cream to drier areas (knees, ankles, elbows) before application and this produced an even tan.

I'm not crazy about the nozzle. It produces too much product at once, but for the price and quality I have no problem dealing. Also, because this gives out so much product at once I found I probably applied a little too much to one area and it took longer than expected to dry. I feel like that could be solved if I used less. Regardless, if I only use this at night and let my tan develop overnight this won't be a problem.

And yes, I would repurchase.

This product is amazing and I have literally tried them all. My fave of all time is Neostrata but that is pricey @ 40$. This actually moisturizes my skin and leaves a nice hint of fragrance. I can smell the DHA when it starts to activate on my skin but the smell is very subtle compared to most products. Looks natural.
Only problem is that I need to use a mist spray on my hands to avoid the "gloved look" and it seems to be uneven on my wrists so I need to exfoliate them.

Found this on WalMart.com and decided to try it, and I have to say, I love it. I am very fair skinned, and this gives me a nice glow. Good idea to put moisturizer first on the knees, elbows and ankles so it doesn't get darker there, didn't do that the first time. I use this once or twice a week then try to use my favorite self-tanner for just maintenance (Nivea's tanner, getting harder to find, though, which is why I tried this one). The best part about this is the way it smells! Wonderful compared to Jergens (hate that smell!). I usually rub it into my skin, then I take a an old pair of clean white tube socks and put my hands into them like gloves, then I rub down all over, and that gets rid of all the excess lotion, so I get a really good even tan. :) I will definitely keep buying this!

None so far.

Also, I don't see this product everywhere- I buy it at Wal-Mart.

I have fair dry skin and this is wonderful. Alot of those airbrush/aerosol sprays dry my skin out overnight. This stuff is like applying a rich lotion. Just make sure to rub prduct in with rubber gloves very well or it might streak. After I apply 2 days in a row I have perfect believable color.

The nozzle is hard to control. The smell isn't horrible but after a while it has a strange odor unlike other sunless products I've used before. Great for a subtle natural hint of color. I used the darkest shade and it wasn't as dark as sublime bronze by loreal. Lasts beyond multiple showers, but not enough color for me. Good if you have really light skin probably. I like the lotion consistency but not dark enough.

The product I'm reviewing actually isn't the product that's featured in that picture up there ^. The product i've been using and which is hands-down the best self tanner (at a drugstore price level) is called Hawaiian Tropic Island Radiance also, but it comes in a tube (there are usually advertisements for it on the side here, because you can only get it on the internet) and it comes in 2 shades darker or 3 shades darker, medium-dark. I use the latter.

Anyways so it's not the same product as featured in the picture but it is under the same name and brand, etc. I can't find it anywhere in stores, although the first time i bought it i found it at ULTA and then they immediately stopped selling it once i came back. So now i order it offline for about 15 dollars for two tubes (and they last for a good amount of time).

I'm naturally a little tan, and my tan lasts all year, but some places like my face and chest for whatever reason do not tan well and are, in my eyes, significantly paler than the rest of me. I used to try and fix this up with makeup but it was such a waste using powders and bronzers on such a large area and then having it wash off the next day. I started researching self-tanners and tried a few. I used Jergens which broke me out on my shoulders, then clinique, which smelled HORRENDOUS and was much overpriced and very orange-looking, and a few others that basically had the same cons as the two i mentioned. I found this self-tanner while looking for one that was ceritifed non-comodegenic, which means it wouldn't break me out and that was my main concern with self-tanners.

I started using this daily, only applying to my face and chest, and i saw results almost instantaneously. I looveee that it takes no time at all for the tan to appear and you don't have to gradually build it up until you see some effect, which is usually like a week or two later, and even then it's barely noticeable. The smell of this is fabulous, although it does fade out over time into the infamous self-tanner odor, so i apply it at night and wake up in the morning to shower it off because the smell lingers the whole day if i put it on after a shower. It's not as bad as most self-tanners though, not even close to being that horrendous. It lasts a good amount of time, and the color is perfect. It looks completely natural and perfectly matches the color of the rest of me. It's also a gel (not a foam like the product featured in the picture above) and so it's very softening and it moisturizes my skin very well.

Overall, i LOVE this self-tanner and i will continue to buy it even though it is a hassle to buy it online since i can't find it in stores. But it's completely worth it because in my opinion this is the perfect product. No cons.
