I utterly love the look of uber-bright, stark white nail polish on the nails, and Orly ‘White Out’ is most definitely the whitest ‘Tipp-ex’ shade I’ve found. Very bright and eye-catching, if you hate white on your nails, skip this. Bit of a thick consistency so I have to use around 3 coats and a top coat to get the effect I want.
First off, I don't know why there are so many negative reviews on this polish. I bought the mini bottle on a whim and I'm pretty satisfied with it to say the least. It's a pure white, DOES streak on the first go, but many "chalky" opaque colors do. It only took two coats before I achieved the color I wanted. Perfect for painting little pandas! It's not the best on the market but it's certainly not the worst. Probably wouldn't buy the full size but I'll keep repurchasing the mini. Not bad. Not bad at all.
SO DISAPPOINTING! I bought a mini bottle at the pharmacy to put under my OPI happy anniversary. Consistency is terrible - streaky uneven application and the brush is terrible quality. I paid AUD 7.95 - such a rip off and very upsetting considering that a full bottle of OPI is $15. In my experience Orly's lasting power is pretty terrible as well. Sad face.
I picked this up in the clearance section at ULTA this weekend. I used it today as part of my V-Day manicure. I wanted a white nail polish and this is a white nail polish. It is a little streaky and took 3 coats for opacity. Not the best, but not the worst. I would probably not repurchase, but look for something a bit less streaky with better coverage in fewer coats.
Yuck! I'm not sure what possessed me to buy a liquid-paper white nail polish, but maybe it was the part of me that mistakenly thinks I can pull off mod. This polish has an extremely appropriate name-it's the exact consistency of white out, applies like white out, looks like white out on the nail, and smells like white out. The color is a super, super white and very opaque color. Like extremely white, the whitest nail polish I've ever seen. I wouldn't even use this for french tips. But even for an opaque white nail polish, the formula sucks. It's streaky, too thin and thick at the same time, runny, dries while applying it, ugh. Mine could be an old bottle because it separates when not shaken. But I would recommend just getting OPI Peace Baby or something like Bubble Bath and applying 4 coats if you really must have the mod look because of the bad application. ;p And if you want an extremely white nail polish for nail art or frankening or something, this is the one!
