Great bright medium pink lipstick which almost has a hint of coral to it and a nice satiny finish with no shimmer. I'm really loving cream pinks lately and this makes a nice addition to my collection.

Another great lipstick by NYX. It is darker and has more red tones than Narcissus (but less brown/orange than Fig) so it is also more wearable. It is really creamy, very pigmented and moisturizing. It has a scent that I can't really describe, it reminds me of something fruity, but I'm not bothered by it at all. The packaging is also very attractive.

Fantastic shade of lipstick that brightens up my complexion as it's a blue based bright medium pink. The colour is matte, but has a glossy/satiny finish. This lipstick is quite opaque, pigmented, and the texture is creamy and smooth. Definitely a winner in my opinion and I would repurchase.

CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE. I'm happy to communicate to you all that this shade is the exact dupe for Mac's ChatterBox. I love both!

Such a glamorous and gorgeous color! Love how it shows the color on the bottom for easy reference. I dislike the smell and taste, but for the price- I can't complain. I got them on sale for about $2.50 each and I'm sure they'll last me for a while. Packaging is cute. FYI- They are creamy and tend to bleed but worth picking up.

Very pretty hot pink shade....perfect shade for spring and summer. This shade will look good on all skintones. It is very creamy and moisturising. Only negative is that it can bleed sometimes, if not worn carefully with a lipliner. I wear this lipstick with 'pinky' lipliner from NYX and always make sure to blot it with napkin after wearing it, that keeps it long lasting.

This is an awesome hot pink color. No shimmer, bright true color. I don't feel that I can comfortably pull off red lips, but this is an excellent alternative for me. Can't wait to wear it more in the summer with a nice tan!

Louisiana is a bright matte cool toned pink, I prefer more of a natural look. Hit (Continue) for swatch.

Such a pretty color... I order 12 NYX lipsticks and out of the whole bunch, this one is my favorite. I am a sucker for bright fuschia lipstick, and it really looks awesome with my NC25 skintone.
I got this on EBay and I purchased it for about $1.5 :)

This color made me look dead :( Very cold, with blue undertone, vulgar and unflattering. Sorry, gals, it's obviously not for me...

LSS 634 Louisiana: a bright bright pink. It looks a bit on the red side on my lips, but I just love the colour. It is sort of fuchsia looking on my lips. I wear this with neutral eyeshadows. Not suitable for daytime tbh. Creamy in texture. I don't think I'll run out, I rarely use it because I'm not a huge fan of bright lipsticks. Very little shimmer, if any, and it does not show up on my lips. Believe me – I hate shimmery lipsticks with a passion. I love to pat strawberry milk on the centre of my lips when wearing this one – great combo.

I really like this lipstick! I always want to wear a bold pink lip but I always seem to have fuchsias with cool blue tones to them and I find that a bit hard to pull off so I tried this, a deep bright pink that's more warm and it is awesome! Its such a bright pretty strawberry color and brightens my face up and is very fresh but its not harsh. Exactly what I wanted. Super creamy texture and yeah, a bit smudgy...I also loved the stain it left. Highly recommended!

I guess this wasn't cool enough for me~ applied like a dream, and looked like the hottest thing I'd ever seen when I first put it on but within half an hour it's warm undertones started to take over. It was starting to go a terrible orange colour on me when I took it off an hour later. Very very sad as I love my pinks :( As always, I think NYX lippies are way underrated, but this was just not the shade for me.

This is my most favorite hot pink lipstick! Of all my hot pink lipstick collections, this one suits me the most! It's not that dark hot pink, a little bit light, no frost and most important of all, it's not blue-based.
I purchased this over Cherry Culture for I think USD 1.99 + shipping fee.
I notice that any lipstick that is blue-based does not suits my skintone well. I used this when me and my childhood friend went out for shopping and she does not really wear any lipsticks at all. She was soo tempted to buy a lipstick because of what I am wearing and wants to head over MAC to buy one. Fortunately, I told her it was NYX and so, she was be able to resist her temptation!
Bad thing about it is that, I'm not really fond of NYX lipsticks. It's too creamy, not actually creamy, but just easy to glide, making it easy to wear off too, and not to mention it has more tendency to smudge than other lipsticks. So... For NYX Round Lipstick users, BEWARE!

Louisiana is love. :)
For some people, NYX round lipsticks cannot stay on for more than 2 hours on their lips, but that's not the case with me. I apply it in the morning, and come lunch time, there's still a hint of color.
The only con I can think of is that it's not super moisturizing. It's not really drying per se, but as the day goes by, it tends to highlight some of the flakiness. I have to remove my lipstick entirely and scrub my lips.
But I don't mind really. It's cheap, the color selection is nice...I think I can live with that little setback. :)

I freaking LOVE bright lipsticks, but this shade may actually be a bit much for me! I wear it with a neutral eye to give my face some real punch when I can't be bothered with 5 different shadow colors, and it really works with my cool-toned skin. If I don't want it to be as bright, I just apply a small amount to my lips, then spread it out with my fingers and top it with a light pink gloss. The formula is very creamy, and the product applies smoothly to my lips and stays for about 3-4 hours if I use lipliner underneath. I also love the simple but elegant black packaging with the color painted on the bottom! I'll doubt I'll run out of this color because I wear it so rarely, but if I did, I'd repurchase it.

I fell in love with NYX Paris yesterday, and ran back to my Ulta to pick up another pink color today. These are about $3.80 at my store, so you can't beat the price for the quality and beautiful colors. Like the reviewer below, I am also pale and have pigmented lips, so this comes out very hot pink and cool toned on me if I apply directly to lips. However, if I pat on with my fingers so that it is a stain, it is the most beautiful color, YLBB. I am in love with these lippies!

I like this lipstick, alot! I'm a PPP with pigmented lips so it shows up as sort of a muted HOT PINK. The first time i put this on, I didn't like it too much. But then the 2nd time i put some nude lipliner on first, then dabbed Louisiana on with my fingers and now i love it. Its subtle, but hot at the same time. Will repurchase.

Got this lipstick from Cherry Culture and we all know their swatches are horrible so it's slightly different from what I thought. Still, its a nice shade and like the other NYX lipsticks it is creamy and goes on smooth.

This shade is one of the NYX Round Lipstick line, with .4g/0.14oz of product packaged in a black plastic lipstick tube, 2 5/8" long and 3/4" in diameter, with a bottom cap color indicator (an other review compared this color indicator packaging to be similar to that of Sephora lipstick, for reference). The color in these indicators is very true, but the product does apply lighter in value, which is not uncommon. This line has an extensive 144 shade selection, including cremes and frosts, with a vast majority of these shades in the warm and neutral spectrum. For those interested, these are cruelty free, as NYX does no animal testing. Oh, and if you are not yet aware, NYX is pronounced "nix" and not "N. Y. X." The company is named after the Greek goddess of the night, Nyx.

Because of recommendations and comparisons to MAC on MUA, I initially tried NYX eyeshadow singles when I accidentally discovered a dusty beauty supply in my area that had a huge display. After being pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the eyeshadows and because of other recommendations on MUA for the Round Lipsticks, I then tried my first shade in this line, Thalia #529 which is a pinky nude. I then tried this shade, Louisiana #634, to make sure that the quality is consistent. Louisiana is a vivid pink, just slightly on the pinker side of coral, creme . Although it is too bright of a shade on its own for my coloring and preference, I find that if I use a more muted or nude shade as a base or layering color with it, this is lovely. I've even layered this over or under a cooler pink or nude/neutral lipgloss to tone it down.

Let me tell you that I am, again, quite pleasantly surprised! These lipstick sell for around a mere $1, but they are of very high qualilty. Described in online product descriptions as velvet-textured lip creams, these are smooth, very well-pigmented and long-lasting and not sticky. They have a barely discernable scent that is not unpleasant in the least and no discernable taste (I don't know why some have descibed it as having a weird smell and taste). These are very matte, however, and if you want more shine, you would need to top them with a glossy balm or lipgloss, or layer them with other more glossy lipstick. As I stated above, I've even applied them under or over lipgloss with great results. I have never tried MAC Mattene Lipsticks, but I have read reviews that compare the quality of these to be similar. I have never paid upwards of $14 for any lipstick, and with these on the market, I will never have to. I can see my lipstick color collection will be growing exponentially now that I've discovered these!

NYX Round Lipstick Ingredients (I have found two differing listings, possibly indicating two formulations, maybe the first is for the cremes and the second is for the frosts? If anyone knows, please contact me and I will update this review!):
