I am almost done with my first bar of this soap and plan on repurchasing. Perfect to take off makeup, after swimming, and I use it AM and PM. It smells great, lathers well and rinses clean. My skin feels clean but not too tight. I have less breakouts (also use retinol at night). I have not had irritation of eyes or skin with this. I love the packaging which is solid and makes this a good travel item and part of my gym bag. Will most definitely repurchase and highly recommend for oily/acne prone skins.

I agree with the reviewer below me - this product works as nice non-irritant soap that seems to remove all makeup and oil from my face. (I do not wear foundation though.) It didn't irritate my skin at all, nor did it cause me any breakouts. However, I don't feel like it improved my skin or provided any benefit that any other basic cleanser couldn't provide. The scent of the soap was okay, but it smelled more artificial raspberry to me than natural. I think the price for this item is outrageous, and I even got mine 20% off. The soap is not very hard so it doesn't last long - I've had it about one month and it is probably 2/3 to 3/4 used up. I threw away the container it comes with (that is probably part of the high price there) and set the soap on a plastic drainer thing with holes in it to keep it dry between uses. Although this is a decent product, I won't be buying this again because it's too expensive and doesn't last long enough to justify the price.

This facial soap works well, but doesn't have any "wow"-factor kick to it. I love the smell, and it has a pretty container. It clears my skin, and takes away most redness. Very good balance, however I would expect a little more for its price.
**Update: I repurchased this bar along with the toner bar after none of the other cleansers worked for me. I went back to previous brands like Biore, Clean and Clear, Cetaphil, Dermalogica convinced that I could just find a perfect combination between my soap, toner and moisturizer. They all caused, prolonged, or otherwise didn't help my breakouts very much. As it turns out, this Raspberry bar in the morning with the Toner bar at night is HIGHLY effective! The toner bar is what really clears my skin, and the raspberry keeps my face balanced and less red. I think the fact that Arcona uses all-natural non-irritating ingredients is why my skin prefers this over the drug store brands.
Now the question is, WHY does my skin have to be so expensive?

Well I pretty much LOVE LOVE LOVE this product because it helps with the redness my acne gives me. I get the occasional break out but I know that the raspberry bar can't really cure it mainly because I am confident that my break outs are from stressful nights of studying and just being worried about school, work, and life in general! This product is expensive but it last a LONG time. This bar lathers up so well and really does help with the redness and irritation my skin goes through daily. It's a bit drying even for my oily skin in the winter so you may need to use some moisturizer but during the summer it's perfect! I'm guessing because my skin produces more oil during the summer? Who knows. This product smells good and lasts a very long time. I will definitely be purchasing it again in the future.

I love this bar! I've never used a bar in my entire life so I was a bit shakey at first, because you know, it is my face after all. But the bar works really well for my face. My skin feels cleaned and super smooth, I can't stop touching it! My T-zone is where i get the most acne, and it has become less oily within a weeks time and reduces redness. I would recommend this product for people with oily skin

I alternate this with the Berry Bar. I love it and find it just as good as the Berry Bar, but a bit more cleansing and astringent. I adore the smell, it's a mix of raspberry and oatmeal! I smell it every time I wash my face! I think it is super healing and keeps my skin very clear. i thought my skin was clear before Arcona, but Arcona took it to a whole new level of clarity and smoothness! I am so thankful to Bestcoast for purchasing this for me for Christmas!!!!

I've been using this cleanser for over two weeks now. I looked into Arcona a few years ago but was turned off by the high prices. I'm so glad that the buzz for this line came up on the skincare board again. I bought this along with the magic pink ice (same as white) , both have really made a noticeable improvement. I look forward to using this, for the pleasant raspberry aroma and the velvety texture, it's so creamy! My skin is not dry, tight, or irritated like with most cleansers I have tried. I even skipped cleasers completely for awhile and just used jojoba oil. Now I use the jojoba to remove my makeup along with a washcloth and follow with the bar. Every third day I cleanse using this with my clarisonic. There is alot of product, a nice size bar...someone else reviewed and said it was like a hockey puck (couldn't have said it better!) Will update with progress...

Update- I like this bar still but it is not HG sadly. I'm still using it in rotation but I'm primarily using Grandpa's Thylox sulfur bar.

I started using this again to use it up and I'm very happy, it works best after my oil cleanse to remove MU.

I can't live without this cleanser. I use it twice a day, and it has helped clear my skin up better than months of Tazorac. I have dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin, and this does not overly dry me out or leave me irritated, which is amazing. It actually calms down redness instead of causing any. I'll definitely be buying this one again!

this is my first time using a facial bar, but ended up loving it. it smells wonderful and not in a fake fruit type of way. I love that there are minimal ingredients and no fillers. my skin hates propylene glycol and coconut derivatives and it's really been a tough challenge for me to find products without those ingredients, let alone products that really works.
even though it is a bar soao, it still works great with my clarisonic mia. it bubbles up nicely and rinses clean without any tightness. I can definitely say it has improved my skin tone

This is a great soap and leaves your skin velvety. I, however, prefer the White Tea Cleanser. I had very bad acne and somehow the combination of the cleanser with the Golden Grain Gommage completely cleared up my skin. I do love the whole Arcona line though!

I love this facial soap! I've used everything for acne and normal - oily skin.....very oily only in the t zone. I've been to the dermotologist, used pro active...all of it and this soap really balances out my skin. I don't have to blot my t-zone all day! and it helps keeping my skin from breaking out. I might get 1 or 2 at that time of the month but I'd rather that than a whole bunch on my forhead. It also makes my skin feel nice and clean + toned but not tight and smells nice. As soon as I open up a new one I cut the bar into 2 pieces so that I can use a fresh bar half way through using it. I also make sure to keep the top slightly open to let it dry. It's def. pricey but personally I think it's worth it and a little goes a long way, I can't even remember when I purched my last one b/c it lasts so long. LOVE IT!

It's an ok bar, but compared to the Toner Tea Bar, this is only so-so. It doesn't remove makeup well and doesn't do much for acne. If you want to buy it for acne control, it's not the best, otherwise, if you simply like it as a cleanser, then it's good.

I'm just reaching the 6 month mark with this cleanser, and I still have probably a good 4 months worth of bar left. I'm debating whether I should actually chunk it and start fresh, as the line calls for you to do. I was overall quite happy with this product. The thing I hated about it the most was it being in a bar soap form, and not a liquid, but that probably has made it last a lot longer than a liquid would have. This cleanser isn't drying at all and has helped balance my skin out considerably, but it definitely no HG for blemish control. For the past couple of years I have had an awful time with breakouts on the sides of my chin, and this has helped control them a lot but I do still breakout there. The soap leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean, but not stripped, and has made my skin a little softer over time. I did learn through experience that you need to leave the jar open for the soap to dry and not stick to the bottom of the jar. What I have started doing though, is placing the bar on the inside of the lid after finishing using it. Then I brush my teeth, apply lotion, etc, and by that point the bar has dried a lot and I just plop it back in the jar and never have to worry about the bar being moist in the morning.
