This is Babor's version of La Mer, with a price tag to match ($400). It claims to be magically brewed like La Mer, with their Sea-Telligent complex, "A high-energy ingredient obtained from a deep-sea microorganism. Thanks to its anti-oxidative properties, it protects the skin thoroughly against the effects of stress. Because the extract is both thermoactive and UV-activated, it generates heat, which further enhances its effect on the skin."
Well, i received a small jar of this and i swear it transformed my dry, blemished skin overnight into a dewy, glowing complexion. I was so thrilled with the results that i shelled out for the full-size product, and.... sadly the results i initially saw never came back. in fact, this cream doesn't have a quantitative/clinically based claims to back it up, just a marketing story, some obscure technology, and a hefty sticker price. I found the cream increasingly too heavy for my skin, making it an oily mess before bed---apply sparingly. the richness of this cream also made my pores "heavy" and more visible as a result. I would only recommend this cream for mature skins.
The jar is unsanitary and prone to bacteria when you re-dip your fingers. For such a "high-tech superluxe" product, it should come in an airless pump system.
