I have very sensitive, breakout prone, combination skin, doesnt take much to make my skin freak. Alot of skin moisturizers make me break out, EXCEPT this one.
I get alot of random dry spots, cleared that up, and no break outs!
for best results, put it on your face when your face is wet so it absorbs into your skin better rather than just sitting on top of it and making you feel greasy.
the pump is great, very controllable. great product! ill never use expensive moisturizers again.

This review is for the up & up Action Moisturizer its a green and white bottle not like the one pictured. The scent of this moisturizer to me smells horrible. It smelt like condoms?!?! As for it works for ance prone skin....NOPE! It felt heavy and i don't think it really moisturize my skin. Will not repurchase! continued >>

This is the knock off version of the clean and clear dual action moisturizer. It’s about a buck or two cheaper than the brand name one and it actually works better for me. My issue with the brand name one was that it would ball up and come off while I’d rub it into my skin. This one however doesn’t do that and sinks into my skin fairly quickly so I can move on with my makeup routine.

The only complaint I can come up with is the scent. It has a soapy smell that some people may find a bit strong but it doesn’t linger. This does just as I expected and what I need on a daily basis – moisture and treatment for my acne. This doesn’t clear up my acne forever but it’s a good treatment and it’s better than nothing.

Worst "moisturizer" ever. My face actually feels drier after using this, how does that even happen?

Like Jusch_Box.... my feelings are the same. I recall using this moisturizer some time back, and loving how it felt on my skin (of course it was the actual real deal, not the Clean and Clear KO by Target... ). So I skimped a few bucks for this one - the package was the same and the ingredients looked similar enough... but yes, it managed to flake my skin off at points that are not even dry to start with - around my mouth and chin, and right between my eyebrows...! Unreal! I was weary to move my face throughout the day because I could feel that my face had tightened. Anyhow, I would surely not recommend this product. I do not know if I would go back for the Clean and Clear product, as now the air's getting drier and I do not need additional SA products as a result in the winter.

The reason I love this moisturizer is because it has salicylic acid which helps keep my acne in check. It does well at keeping my skin clear. It absorbs into the skin rather quickly which is great because you can use it under makeup right away (which I do). It does moisturize well if you don't have any heavy dryness or flakiness. I have both issues near my nose, and it does nothing for that. The rest of my skin feels great though. If it had any SPF I would bump it to 5 stars. This is great for anyone with blemishes/acne and it's a great price too.

I loved this moisturiser! Goes on so smooth and settles into my face soo nicely. I love it as a foundation primer..!!!! It actually works really well!! Maybe its just me but i love how it smells too!! Unfortunately i stopped using it after reading that it contain dimethicone! Even in the smallest amount of this could of been contributing to breakouts..my skin is too sensitive i need to stay away from dimethicone!

I bought this product after I found out that my regular Dove daily moisturizer SPF 15 was discontinued and I've been using this for the past month or so now. I've got to say the plus side of this product is that it doesn't get you teary eyed if you get it in your eyes or anywhere near your eyes =D and I actually like the pump dispenser. Other than that, I actually like this product for my skin (combination) I love the fact that it tightens your skin after using it (so it feels like its working). I don't have a like or dislike about the scent (as long as it doesn't have a bad odor). Whats also great is that a small amount of this can go a LONG way. All in all it leaves my skin smooth like a babies bottom without clogging my pores, and it does what I wanted it to do. I haven't had any breakouts since I started using this product!!!

About a month ago, I picked this up because the name-brand version was out of stock, and I didn't want to have to go to another store when the generic Target version was right in front of me. This moisturizer is okay but definitely not something I'd repurchase; there's nothing special about it. It doesn't clear me up, but at least it doesn't clog my pores or break me out like other moisturizers have! I completely agree with the previous reviewer in that, after applying this, my skin feels tight, like it would be dry, but is soft and moisturized to the touch. Right now, my cheeks are a little dry, so I end up layering another moisturizer on top. If you're considering buying this moisturizer, I say you should pass.

I didn't have the same problems as the bottom reviewer had. I too used the Clean&Clear dual action and decided to try the cheaper Target version. Well, the smell isn't GREAT--it's like an inferior version of the Clean&Clear smell. But I didn't notice the smell once it was on my skin.

The product is the same liquidy consistency of C&C, so you would expect it to feel the same on your face. That said, it does moisturize adequately (for me anyway) leaving no dry flakies, even in the driest spots. The biggest problem is that my face feels really tight after the product sinks in--like I've applied glue on my face instead of moisturizer. But for some reason my face, when my fingers touch it, feels very moisturized? This is a weird product.

In any case, I would recommend a separate eye cream--this is not at all adequate for the under eye area (as C&C isn't either, I think). Like C&C, it's not heavy, and for dry skin, I would recommend a heavier moisturizer.

I love Target, but . . . I would recommend you splurge the two extra bucks for the C&C.

(I don't have any news on its "dual action" acne fighting qualities as I just bought it. If I recognize anything out of the ordinary, and I remember to do so, I will edit!!) continued >>
