I love this stuff! it makes my skin so soft and smooth. The consistancy is amazing because its not thick at all so it goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly so i dont feel sticky. I used to have bumps on my arms that would not go away no matter what i tried but this stuff has made them go away! I like the smell and this is my go to everyday lotion! I would recommend this!

I tried this by accident when I was staying at a friends house and I hate that I sorta need this product until I can find a better alternative.
My usual body lotion --Yes to carrots body butter-- is not enough at the moment. Now that its colder, my legs turn into an itchy dry mess. I can scratch myself until I bleed in my sleep.
This is the only lotion that not only makes me comfortable, but velvety soft without the heavy feeling.
Cons:
1) STRONG floral scent. I prefer unscented products, but don't mind fragrance if it is light or dissipatates quickly. This one lingers all day.
2) I am trying to minimize paraben use. I'm also to avoid companies that do animal testing such as procter and gamble. As far as I know, Unilever the parent company of Dove still does.
It's not a bad lotion, it's actually good if you don't mind strong floral scents and have no issues with parabens and or animal testing.
I will finish the bottle I have, but currently on the look out for something better suited to my needs.

I love the texture and smell of this product, especially after a session in the sun. It's all I need to maintain smooth, moisturized skin -- I even use it on my face. Will continue to purchase for my dry, sensitive skin.

I loved the constancy of this product. It is a thick creamy lotion that glides right on your skin do to the added oil. It didn't leave me greasy, sticky or waxy. It seemed to give my skin the moisture it was looking for. The texture and performance is 5 stars, but the smell....way too flowery!!! I tend to be sensitive to fragrances in general, but I liked this lotion so I was hoping I could look past it. The fragrance wouldn't fade. It reminded me of the little old ladys that overdo their perfume. I had to return this. If Dove made this in a fragrance-free version I would definitely purchase it.

I started using this in the very cold, dry winter months but now use it year round. It's perfect for me even though the summers are hot and humid.
The scents, the are 3, are nice and the consistantcy is good.

My HG body lotion. Love the smell, love the texture, love the moisturization, love the packaging, love the price.

I wanted to try a new lotion, and was drawn to this, however, it did not work out for me and I'm disappointed by the results. While the scent was nice and it did moisturize my skin, it left my skin feeling sticky. I used it after a shower, and at first thought it was moisture from the water, but my skin still felt like it had a coating on it a couple hours later.

I have oily skin and I think this was just too heavy for me. After a couple days of using this, I have noticed itchy spots on the places I applied it, including a few new acne spots on my back and I haven't had spots there in a quite a while! I usually have good luck with drugstore lotions, but if you have acne-prone or oily skin, this product might be too heavy. My skin couldn't breathe, felt sticky, got itchy and even erupted into a couple new spots.

Very light and fluffy texture. not super moisturizing, will be good for summer. has a slightly nutty scent. probably won't repurchase.

I've always been pretty good about wearing body lotion and have used my fair share of different lotions and this has been my favorite and repurchased every time I run out.

This is a thick lotion almost a cream texture but the added oil makes it easy to apply evenly. I personally don't find it to greasy and it offers me enough moisture that I'm not looking for anything new. I use to use Bath & Body Works Body Creams but couldn't stand the price and once I found a scent that didn't give me a migraine it would be discontinued or the stupid sales they always have. It feels like a thin veil on my skin. Silky, gentle, really soft. I've never thought that I'll finaly found creme that fit my skin so much.

This stuff is AMAZING!! I have very dry skin, keratosis pilaris, and itches and flakes. This makes it feel soooo soft and moisturized. The bumps are going away, flakiness is a thing of the past, and my skin feel comfortable again. It applies easily, sinks in quickly, and lasts.
Hands down, the best lotion I've tried...and I think I've tried them all, including prescription.

Like the pro-age body lotion this product has a scent that lingers. You can smell this on you hours later. This is moisturizing, but I would argue that it is slightly less moisturizing than curel or nivea. I rather use curel which is available in a fragrance free formula or a scented formula (the scent isn't as nearly as strong). I have tried both this and the pro-age. Neither one works well enough to make up for the horrible flowery scent.

Phenomenal is what I have to say about this product!!! My daughter introduced me to this product and now that I've found it I NEVER want to be without it! My skin has never felt so comfortable or soft (even softer than a baby's behind)! It has what I consider a delightful fragrance and I just with that they had the hand cream available in stores. A stellar product IMHO.

Perfect lotion for summer when you want some sheen on your legs. I like how this lotion is "thinner" and absorbs as well as an oil-based lotion can (don't wear this with silk). I would be careful about wearing this with nice clothing because it probably will spot your clothing if you aren't careful. It does a good job staying on throughout the night and is very well moisturizing.

Hands down the best lotion I have ever tried. It leaves my skin silky smooth and I personally really like the smell! HG product for my dry skin!

This lotion is AMAZING! I have tried many lotions for my dry skin, and this has become my HG! It moistures my skin so well that I can tell a difference after one application. I have keratosis pilaris on my arms, and this is the only lotion from the drugstore that actually helps smooth the bumps for me. This lotion absorbs fairly quickly and leaves my skin with a healthy sheen, but it is not at all greasy. I have been through several bottles of this and sometimes I buy others just because I'm curious, but they always let me down and I come back to Dove. It is lightly scented, but that does not bother me and it never interferes/clashes with any perfume I apply afterwards. If you have really dry skin, this is a great option! Highly recommended!

Excellent lotion. Moisturizes soooo well. It doesn't take too long to sink in and it never leaves a greasy or slick feeling. It does have a fragrance which I am not crazy about but it isn't bad smelling.

I really love this lotion. I like that the scent is clean but still soft and not perfume like. I'm also a fan of pumps, generally they're no mess for dispensing. I use this daily after showering and I've been very happy with it so far-- in the cold winter months I use a fragrance free lotion (Vanicream) but this lotion is perfect for dry skin during the more temperate to warm weather. I will continue to buy this product, I love the texture and suppleness of it and the light scent. HG, I don't go a day without it.

I initially tried the cool moisture & regular version of Dove's lotions. I liked the scent and feel of each, but with my dry skin figured that I would purchase the lotion for extra dry skin instead.

Cons-
*When I put it on my arms, it BURNED?!?! The other 2 didn't bother me at all. Not sure what ingredient in it bothers my skin.
*The fragrance is not as nice as the other 2. The cool moisture is a light tea fragrance that is clean & crisp - probably nice for summer. And the regular one smells light and clean almost like fabric softener. This one smells like old, cheap perfume. And on my skin it's strong AND it lingers. :-(

I received this lotion for Christmas and thought it would be so-so. But actually it turned out to be really awesome! I have very dry itchy skin in the winter and this instantly soothed my skin. I used it right after shaving and my skin was still SO soft the next day. I also really like the smell because I think it smells really clean. I felt so good to put on! Loved it.
