I had gotten a facial at a local spa a week and a half ago and they are now using Arcona products. I was a little nervous at first as my face has its likes and dislikes and I was hoping that it wouldn't break out afterward. It didn't! My poor skin has been looking lackluster for awhile now, so it was suggested that I try the Aging/Environmentall Damaged skin line. In conjunction with the other products my face has never looked better. It has an amazing glow now, my skintone is much more even, my pores are way smaller, my skintone is more resilient and my face is incredibly soft. No kidding. What it looks like: it is liquidy, green (think Superfood by Odwalla) and hard to pump out without splashing. Oh yes...and there is the smell. The facialist warned me about it...said I could replace it with Magic White Ice if I couldn't take it. She actually said that she knows she should be using the AED line, but the smell was making her hesitate. (eep)
I wanted to wait before writing a review until I could figure out what the aroma was. I finally figured it out. It smells like...beef bouillabaisse. I. am. not. kidding. The scary part is, my face looks SO good now that it doesn't deter me from using this souped up smelling product! ack. I keep thinking the smell might get better, but it doesn't. It does dissipate with time, but when you first put it on, you feel like turning around to see where the main course is, then you realize it's you.
If Magic White Ice doesn't work as well, I just may repurchase Green Ice...sigh. What we do for beauty...
Edit: Afer using Magic White Ice and not seeing the same glowing, firming results I went back to the Green Ice. For me it works the best, so be it. Also, the larger, regular sized product doesn't splash! yay. :)
