Really don't like this fragrance! I tested it in store after reading many good things about it - how it smelt of holiday/beach/creamy coconut etc...well yeah, it does smell of holiday. Mosquito repellant and some alcoholic coconut drink to be exact! Have my mum a sniff of my wrists and she said it wasn't nice either.

Depends on what you think of a beach-type fragrance. This is sophisticated, elegant and feminine brew; it is not wildly "beachy" or overtly suntan oil/coconut/tropical florals. I personally love sweet n' sunny coconut/tropical fragrances, as long as they don't overdo the gaggy tropical florals. Bronze Goddess lacks all of that and is really just a soft, musky skin fragrance. It's very nice, very unobtrusive and devoid of personality. Taking it back to the beach reference: if you thought original Bain de Soleil tanning oil was awesome, then you probably would like Bronze Goddess. If you're a Hawaiian Tropic dark tanning oil lover, then this is nowhere near fun enough for you. It reminds me of my disappointment with Azuree Soleil. Maybe it's the Californian in me and my entire youth was constantly inundated with wildly "tropical" smelling stuff when at the beach. I may be hopelessly UNsophisticated when it comes to my idea of a beachy-fabulous fragrance...I really do want to smell like a bottle of Hawaiian Tropic. ;)

Hands down one of the better "skinscents" out there. It lingers but does not intrude; it is a whisper rather than a scream. On me, after a few hours, the hint of smoke as in CDG's Kyoto. A new favorite.

I grew up in Hawaii and this smells of the beach and great memories. I get creamy coconut, Hawaiian Tropic suntan oil, sea spray and even a little pineapple in there. Makes me want to lie in the sun and run sand through my fingers. A real joy to wear.

This is a wonderful scent for summer. I first smelled it on an SA at Nordstrom and asked what she was wearing. She sent me to the Estee Lauder counter where they gave me a sample and I fell in love with it so I went back and bought a full bottle. I can't see wearing this in the winter but it is a perfect summer fragrance. It is warm and musky with hints of bergemot, coconut and gardenia. On me it lasts many hours so I'm not sure why some reviewers had such short lasting power with it. It reminds me of lazy days by the ocean somewere in the tropics. All in all, a great scent.

I bought this, sprayed it on at 8am, by 10am nobody could smell anything off me, even with their nose pressed to my skin. It's 59euro in Ireland, I am gutted I paid so much for something with such pathetic lasting power.

I gave it one lippie because I liked the scent.

Oh goodness. I think I found my first HG fragrance for the summer. I think I'm in love.

Making this scent into an oil was an amazing idea, I feel that it sticks to the scent and last for a very long time (I think it's better than having the actually perfume if you consider lasting power).

My skin is on the dry side... I actually ordered this thinking it was solely perfume! But I think of this still as part of my perfume collection. This reminds me of the sunset at the Boardwalk. It also makes me reminisce watching the sun come down, on the beach with my friends the last day of my senior year in Hawaii. This makes me feel like I'm home again.

Very milky, very unique and cozy. I think this is the most unique blend of coconut I've encountered, is there coconut? I don't think there is anyone here that has described the notes of this scent without having a hard time pin pointing most of them. It smells more so like a moment than perfume. When I heard people describe this I didn't think I would literally smell the sand on the beach as the beach welcomes dusk.

This is a scent/oil I would buy over and over and over again.

I think this is suited for a sexy lady who doesn't mind getting her hair wet.

This is a nice sexy summer scent. It's quite expensive but worth it. I purchased my bottle last year and still have more than half left. It goes on light and airy but the scent lasts all day. I get many compliments on this fragrance and what's nice is that at the end of the day, I still smell great!! Although it's a limited edition fragrance that only comes out once a year (summer), the best time to purchase it is at the beginning of May. If you wait until June or July, it may be too late!
