Love this lotion! Thank God target had it out on display to try. I would have never known how good this is! The smell is addicting (smells soft and powdery) and leaves my skin baby soft. It is not for people who have super dry skin, but this moisturizer definitely does the trick for moderately dry skin. I cannot stop smelling myself lol. I def will repurchase :)

I adore this lotion. I have recently started using the yes to carrots line and I am obsessed to say the least. This lotion is perfect for me in everyway. It moisturizes well and the smell is amazing!!! I love the scent of the carrots line. Its a powdery, clean smell. If only they would make a perfume!

I've heard amazing things about this brand, but I'm sorry - I've been using this product for several months now and it does absolutely nothing. No immediate results, no lasting results, no overtime results. I'm still left with dry skin (I only use it on my body). doesn't even smell nice.. smells like plastic. I wouldn't repurchase, because it doesn't DO anything :OVERHYPED

i just got this product last week at a drugmart, it is inexpensive and i love the logo in the first sight.i was wondering what the smells like but actually the smell disappoint me. i was hoping for a more refreshing scent. And the moisture is so thin, im thinking it will not enough for winter.

PROS: (1) very soft scent that does not cling to skin so you can apply perfume after. The scent reminds me of sea salt carrots and baby powder. The scent is so faint that it is impossible to give a true description, especially since it fades so quickly. (2) Silky smooth texture, feels like a cross between a gel and lotion. (3) Great for after shaving, one of the few lotions that do not irritate my legs or cause bumps. (4) moisturises beautifully. (5) I recycled a small lotion bottle so I can always have this on hand, it is excellent for keeping hands smooth and supple while on the go. (5) High quality ingredients that are pack full of minerals and antioxidants to feed the skin. (6) Packaging- sleek tall cylinder bottle with pump dispenser that never clogs. (7) Inexpensive, only $10 Canadian, for 250ml/8.45 fl. oz. bottle.

CONS: (1) Just one…addictive!

I adore this product, I have never tried something that is so inexpensive with such rewarding benefits. I truly hope this product is received well, it is one of the few true high quality products that is inexpensive and wonderful on the skin. It was definitely love at first pump when I tried this product out. I also found it a great alternative for shaving my legs. I pump twice for each leg, wet my legs with water and apply this lotion liberally. Than I shave away while cleaning my razor in between strokes, and tada! I have perfect shaved legs without any nicks, irritation, or stubblies. Definitely a bathroom staple that I will keep on hand.

I was really hoping to love this product but it's just nothing special. The lotion is a thin consistency. It feels nice but has just a little oiliness that I didn't like. I also found that my hands did not feel moisturized for very long and soon I was reaching for another lotion. I do love the pump dispenser it comes in though.

I like everything about this product. I like the smell, the feel and the package with the pump. It makes my skin feel very soft and smooth.

I recently discovered this whole line when I started trying to go w/ more natural, less chemical-containing products. I decided to try this heavenly lotion! Other reviewers have extolled its wonderful qualities, so the only thing I have to add (besides its nicely moisturizing, great pump, only litely scented) is that for the amount of body lotion I use daily, this is too $$ to be used as such for me. However, I use it as my go to hand lotion and I couldn't be happier!! I have it in the kitchen so I'm using it multiple x per day, but in a far less amount than if I was using as body lotion (I found Aveeno daily moisturizer for that purpose). LOVE Yes to Carrots!

05/06/09 UPDATE - while I still really like this stuff, I have to deduct 1 lippie - after using thruout this past winter, I find that it just doesn't moisturize my hands for a long enuf period of time in the winter months - the level of moisture seems to fade or evaporate away after 1/2 hour. However, it is just fine for the less dry spring/summer months.

I love this! I bought it for my suddenly dry legs and arms (I'm blaming the weather) and it's a great light everyday lotion with a light, flower/powdery scent and it absorbs quickly. I don't think this is good enough for really dry skin, but for normal to slightly dry skin, it's a fantastic everyday lotion. I've been using it for a week and haven't had any bad reactions. It has so many great natural ingredients and doesn't test on animals :) I got it for 8.99 at Shoppers and would definitely get this again.

I use this moisturizer in the winter and it really helps with dryness, however it does have a bit of a powdery feel to me.
I tend to break out from some moisturizers but not this one.
The scent is a little to strong for me sometimes though.

If you're at the drugstore and need a light daily lotion, Yes to Carrots is a good bet. The price is a little high when you compare the amount of products to other brands, but at least the ingredients reflect the price. A lot of other lotions aren't even worth the 18 oz. you might get for $4.
The scent is lovely, light, sweet, and yes, a little carrot-y. The actual lotion is more on the light side and great for a lightweight summer moisturizer. The reason I gave it a 3/5 is because this probably isn't enough for dry skin.
I actually really like the packaging because with most pump bottles you end up with 1/4 of the product that you can't get out, but the pump worked almost until the very last bit of lotion was gone. Overall, I love the ingredients and think this a good lotion--but something a little more heavy-duty might be in order.

I have very dry skin with bumps and clogged pores on my upper arms ( I forgot what my derm told me it was but basically I have to live with it) Anyways, I tried this brand just because there was a sale at Walgreens, and I do not use products that test on animals. My arms have not looked this good since high school. Seriously- It has cleared up!
