I converted to the ultra facial line after YEARS of problem skin and thousands of dollars on other BS products. I have VERY sensitive skin. I don't use scrubs or anything abrasive.
Even soap free cleansers can be damaging and cause eczema.
Cleanses, really actually cleanses. I tone afterwards and nothing comes off afterwards. It's gentle enough for my eye makeup, Ive even had to use it 3 times a day and it hasn't stripped my skin. It shrinks most clogged pores to little blackheads that eventually come out of their own, due to this product. It helps my skin be and work the way its meant to. I love it.
Try it! I used a sample after the so-called "soap free" cleanser I had gave my eczema all over my eyes and chin. It saved my skin and I've never looked back.

This is a product that i would gladly purchase it again. Been a long time since I don't need to hesitate on choosing whether I will purchase this product again. Because I will. :)
Gentle, cleanses really well(I dont use makeup, only eyebrow pencil sometimes), and non drying. I have sensitive skin and combo oily, my cheeks dry out with Avene's Soapless gel cleanser(which used to be my HG cleanser until I took Isotretinoin and Doxycycline for my ex-acne) It costs $43 here in Singapore and it IS expensive for a cleanser but Im willing to pay for it since I cant find another cleanser that suits my combo oily areas more.

It's not the worst cleanser ever, but it dries out my skin noticeably, which is strange because I have oily/combo skin, and this cleanser is meant for normal skin. So, why would it be drying out combo/oily skin? Weird. Not sure I would recommend this to anyone. It may have given me a few blemishes, but I can't be sure it was this cleanser. There are way better cleansers out there. I much prefer Earth Science Clarifying Cleanser, cleans without drying.

this is my HG cleanser. mainly because its ph balanced at 4,2 (i found that lots of people dont know the importens of the ph-levels in their skincare products) and its actually very few cleansers that is at a correct ph level (you'd be surprised if you've got time to check it out). anyways, this doesnt damage the acid-mantle of the skin, therefor it doesnt dry me out. it cleanse very well. i dont use waterproof mascara but it works just fine taking of regular mascara. it also works wonders with my clarisonic. i highy suggest to try this baby out. its a good, basic cleanser without any perfume :)

I like this product, it does not smell perfumed etc. But however it is really hard to make it foam. Still I really like it my face feels so clean afterwards.

***UPDATE: So I changed my skin care routine about one month ago and this one is my cleanser at night. Since then I was breaking out like crazy on my upper lips and on my chin. Then 2 days ago I thought that this may be not my diet and I might have irritation to the products that I used. I did some research and found out that Avocado oil, almond oil and apricot oil are COMEDOGENIC. Then I stop using this cleanser and my break out stops immediately. what a nightmare!

I like it since it does not cause breakouts. But it will once you use it with Clarisonic so just use it using your fingers. :) I like that it's not making my skin so oily or dry. It also cleans well and it helps even out my skin tone (i think?) so i would definitely buy this esp when i'm lazy to use my Clarisonic.

actually,i love this product but this cleanser can't really remove my make up.. so,after i put toner,still got some make up in my cotton pad.. i love this cos it doesn't make my skin dry..

This is a fantastic cleanser. It's well-formulated, gentle, and cleans really well without making my skin dry. It might be the best cleanser I've ever used. You definitely have to rinse a few times to get it all off, as it has kind of a sticky texture, but don't let that keep you from trying it. I can actually imagine this working for a broad range of skin types and concerns. You only need a pea sized amount so it lasts forEVER! The only thing I would add is that with a cleanser, you're washing all those beneficial ingredients down the drain, so if $$ is a concern for you, buy a cheaper, gentle cleanser and save your money for well-formulated products that stay on your skin like serums.

I love this cleanser. Only the smallest amount is required for a whole lot of foam and a squeaky clean face! I use this one at night, and with the Clarisonic 3 times a week. It can be a little drying but it's not terribly expensive so allows room in the budget to follow up with a decent moisturizer.

I am not the World's most brand / product loyal customer (so many products, so little time!) but would more than likely buy this one again.

Been using this for a couple of months now and it really is a great cleanser. Nothing fancy, just a good foaming cleanser that gets rid of makeup and grime, doesn't iritate my sensitive skin, doesn't make it too dry, doesn't sting my eyes. You only need the teeniest bit to work up a nice gentle rich lather. I use an oil cleanser first to get rid of foundation and eye makeup at night, and use it alone in the morning. My skin looks clearer and brighter than it has done for a while. No scent, no fuss, just perfect.

Good cleanser as it removes all makeup and impurities without leaving the face feeling dry. I've yet to see significant improvements in my complexion but thankfully it didn't break me out or sth :)

This cleanser leaves my skin very clean (cotton pad has almost nothing on it after cleansing) without feeling dry or tight. Nice texture and suds. Don't know why, but cleansers that don't have suds generally don't clean as well. I'm sure there are exceptions. I love this cleanser and the price is very reasonable. Don't need much product and it's under $20.

Amazing, amazing cleanser. Possibly the best one I have used. It leaves my skin feeling really clean and smooth, yet not dry or oily. A tiny bit goes such a long way, it doesn't burn my eyes like every single other cleanser I have used, and it has no scent. I'm extremely content. And because such a tiny bit goes a long way, I feel like this cleanser will last me such a long time!

This product is pretty amazing. There's no artificial fragrance, a tiny amount goes a long away - however when I used it with my clarisonic (which I heard will do wonders) it dried up my face so much that eventually made me break out in irritation spots which was not very nice. I waited a few weeks for my skin to heal and just recently started it up again and I keep the amount used to a minimum and with no clarisonic. It rinses off cleanly and my mother says that she swears it cleaned out the blackheads on her nose! However she also agrees that it is a bit drying.

Have used this product for just over a week and I have to say I'm really impressed. You just need a tiny amount to clean your entire face and it doesn't dry your skin out like a lot of other cleansers. I use it to wash of my eye-makeup aswell ( I know I shouldn't but I'm to cheap to buy and additional eye-makup cleanser) and so far It's worked really well. Will buy again! :)

Best cleanser I have ever used. Creamy, deep cleansing, but leaves the skin clean feeling. If you are someone who likes the idea of cleansing balms, but they are too heavy on your skin, try this with a muslin cloth instead. Fab!

This is a wonderful cleanser! Used in conjunction with the panthenol protein face cream (and Trader Joe's SPF 15 moisturizer during the day), my nose and chin are free of blackheads and my skin is much smoother, moisturized, and free of breakouts. You only need a tiny amount to create a rich lather, so you get a lot of washes for the amount you pay. It's also fragrance-free, which makes me feel better about putting it on my face. I used the oil-free version but found it too drying. I exchanged it for this, and I'm much happier with this product!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST CLEANSER I've tried pretty much every cleanser in the market at this point..... I'm a skin care addict and I LOVE trying new products but I was never really interested in the Ultra Facial Cleanser from Kiehl's UNTILL my friend told me it was doing wonders for her skin and i DID saw her skin incredibly soft, so I asked for a sample AND OMG :O The next day I went to buy it and it's been 2 weeks now. I can honestly say this product impressed me A LOT and I can't believe I didn't buy it before..... it's my HG Cleanser and will NOT use anything else for a couple of years..... my skin is improving day by day :'D I'm soooo happy with this cleanser <3 continued >>

Love this cleanser, my face is now free of bumps. i bought the cleanser, exfoliator, and moisturizer all for about $90. i thought it was a little expensive but to have a bump free face i tried it. i could have gone without the the other two but the cleanser is a must have. GREAT!
