Shiloh is a bright warm true red with subtle shimmer. If you want a subdued red Shiloh is not for you--it's bright, happy, and festive. I got some chipping by the next day but I think that was more my fault. Deducted a lippy as I found the formula a bit runnier than other Zoya polishes I've used. I needed 3 coats to get it fully opaque, but I'm quite tan so paler ladies may only need 2.

A bright maraschino cherry. Such a happy color! I still had VNL after two coats, though. Almost a jelly finish with slight shimmer. I wore it 5 days without chipping and very minimal tipwear without additional topcoats (Gelous base, Seche Vite topcoat---despite other people saying SV doesn't play well with Zoya, I don't seem to have any problem). A little bright for my taste on my NW20 skin, but again, it is so happy and cheerful that I'm looking forward to wearing it on gray snowy winter days.

I ordered Zoya spoons recently however I ordered Shiloh before getting a spoon because the color on zoya.com appeared to be the perfect deep red that I'd been looking for to wear this fall & winter.

While it is a pretty, true red, it does not apply the same medium-dark color as seen in the bottle which was disappointing. You can judge for yourself looking at the photos (the 2nd is mine taken outdoors in bright sunlight). I applied 2 coats for excellent opacity & no streaking or bubbling, and top coated w/ Seche Vite.

If you're looking for a bright red with a lovely shimmer, this could be your polish -- especially for the holidays because it is a very festive color. I'll keep it around for when I want *this* color red as it is definitely a great go-to red to have in a NP collection. (It's just not the deeper red that I wanted for daily fall/winter wear.)

I'll update if I find I'm disappointed in the wear as I hope to get at least 5 days wear w/o a mani re-do. continued >>

The previous reviewer described the colour better than i can, to me it is a true red without any orange or blue tones. It suits my fair skin tone and looks like a classy red not a trashy one. As with all Zoya polishes, in my experience anyway, it lasts a long time with a top coat. It does not streak and is chip free.

Shiloh is the first Zoya polish I have ever tried, and to be honest, it was not a colour that I was initially drawn to at first. I purchased it as part of Zoya's Mini-cure gift set, which includes mini sizes of their Color Lock System (Remove +, Anchor, Armour and Hurry Up) as well as a mini bottle of Shiloh. I had wanted to try Zoya for ages, so thought that this set of minis would be a good way of seeing how it worked on me.
Anyway, I am absolutely thrilled with the way Shiloh has turned out - it is the exact shade of red I had been looking for! I have been on the hunt for ages for a perfect glace cherry type red, but find that so many reds are too orange or blue based. Shiloh is very much a true red, which also has a great red shimmer to it. It is quite a bright shade, that really pops on the nails, and kind of reminds me of the nails polish a 50's pin-up might wear. I find it to be opaque in 2 coats, and the Zoya formula was nice and thin and easy to work with.
As well as loving the colour, I have also been highly impressed with the wear of this polish. I used it with the full Zoya Color Lock system and ended up removing it after the 5th day just because I wanted a change - there was not a chip, crack or any tipwear in sight (I did refresh the Armour topcoat every other day though). I would repurchase Shiloh if I ever run out, and also will be trying other polishes in the Zoya line.
