i really like the built in concealer. it makes the $44 price tag worth it.
the foundation is ok. it matches really well with my skin but after a couple hours, it starts to cake. somewhat mortifying so i stopped using it.

I've searched about peoples reviews on this product and most of them said 'sheer coverage and oily'' but then a friend bought it and said its brilliant makes your face glowy and radiant, which i myself saw from her pictures so i went to laneige store bought it and tried it the next day. I have no problems with the packaging, nice smell, the foundation is light not sticky. Normally i scrub my face first (multiberry) before using any foundation to make sure the product sinks in nicely to my skin. I have oliy combination skin which always breaks me out with new products (faceshop, skinfood), i usually use clinique products such as the moisturiser.
Upon application of the foundation using my fingers it sinks in quickly sheer coverage which is what im looking for. After application it looks like you are wearing your own natural skin rather than fake looking which is great if you are not using tons of eyeshadows and thick eyelashes. It nicely covers my slightly dark chin and few dark spots. The highlighter is great too; its glittery.
The only problem i have is after 5 hours of usage my face is very oily (more than usual) but still glowy and dewy. Im not sure to love or hate but this oiliness makes me uncomfortable. I spent my day mostly in air conditioned area and the weather here is always hot (brunei). I will update again and see if i can find a way around it.

Okay, if you have Combination/Oily skin, DO NOT buy this product. Chances are if you are oily or combo you also have acne-prone skin and acne marks, not only will this foundation not cover your redness, marks and scars, it will NOT last on even somewhat oily skin. Being a student, this product just isn't practical. Yeah your skin looks nice when you put it on, but give it some time and your skin will look cakey or the foundation will be gone.
Most BB creams don't last long on my oily skin, and they are a bit too sheer, but what I like about them is they fade, they don't cake up, and they have skincare properties. This foundation is sheer like a bb cream, and spreads like one, but it looks cakey like a foundation, and definitely feels like a foundation.
Overall, I would not recommend this product, even to dry skin people simply because it does not last for any practical amount of time and its way overpriced. If it was $10-$15 i would say try it, but at $30-$45 depending on where you buy, it's SO not worth it.
(I would recommend laneige skincare though)

I had combination skin, with super active pores on my T zone, and uneven skin tone. Wearing this alone gives you a sheer coverage, unless you re-apply 2-3 times all over your face. Like the scent tho. Refreshing scent.. ah.. so Laneige.
How ever, this product does not stay long/ stick on my face >4hours, have to re-apply the thing. Find it difficult to blend in, maybe it's my cheapskate foundation brush? My face doesn't look like a glowing globe with it, pores felt light, breathable, and just an average sheer foundation.
The highlight cream on the cap- use it to highlight my flat nose, I would prefer other alternative, doesn't blend in easy as well. -.-" Perhaps same raw material? Anyway, nice packaging, scent and fine with the price charged. Oh, and high spf of 41++ too! continued >>

I wanted to love this product so bad but had to face the hard truth that it wasn't right for my skin....I am a big fan of Bubz Beauty(youtube blogger) and she raves and raves about this product. I was hesitant at first because my skin is really fair, but I decided to try it anyways. For about $40 I bought this product and wasn't in love with it. I love the finish that it gave my skin(it looked dewy and not chalky or greasy). Along with this I like the coverage as well. However, it was too dark for my skin and it looked cakey in the sun(because you could see that it didn't match my skin color. What was even worse was that it made get acne under my skin. It also smears kind of easy. I just don't think this is a good foundation for fair complected people.

If you are looking for light coverage then you may like this, however, I think provides just a little too less coverage for my liking. It just about masks redness but doesn't do much besides that. I do not like using concealer so I don't really want to go through the hassle of using concealer and then foundation ontop to be honest. There is an included concealer with this but it is rather dry in consistency and doesn't provide much coverage either.

The liquid is watery yet still manages to be slightly creamy. It feels lightweight upon application but as the day goes on, I can feel it getting heavier on my skin. It provides decent hydration but for the warmer months it tends to make my skin get oily in the t-zone (I have normal skin) and the staying power is not too good at all, 5 hours before I feel like it's starting to melt off. I find the tones to be slightly too pink for my yellow toned skin but it's not too bad.

Perhaps if you have dry skin, need light coverage and your skin is in good condition, this may work for you. But I do not find myself reaching for it.

It's a so-so product for me. I got this from my aunt as a gift and tried it out immediately. I got the shade very alike to my skin color but when I applied it on my face, I look like a ghost. I don't know why. It's weird. Afterwards, I always wipe it softly with a tissue. Yup, very frustrating.

For reference I am an NC20 with golden tones and normal/combo sensitive skin. I got this in shade #13 which is a decent colour match - slightly too light but shade #21 is a bit orange - doesn't have noticeable pink or yellow tones, I think it's rather neutral.

The concealer is useless to me as I don't think it provides much coverage. It is very lightweight and creamy though, glides on like a dream! The foundation is also very lightweight, I feel like I have nothing on my skin at all. The coverage is very light...2 layers and I still feel like it hasn't covered anything. All it does is even out my skintone. Didn't cover a patch of redness I had on my lower cheek and provided zero coverage for minor blemishes on my forehead. I would recommend it for those with nice skin in good condition, who just want to look a little more polished. Gives a nice natural "glow" to the skin (not shimmery or glittery, just natural) and is neither a matte or dewy finish...more inbetween, leaning towards the dewier side a little more.

I have normal/combo skin and this does not make my skin dry and flakey, nor does it make it oil up. Very nice formula which provides som good hydration to skin without being greasy. Lasting power is not so good...a few hours before I think it starts fading. Definately not a foundation for humid or rainy weather, or for going out all day. Doesn't break out or irritate my sensitive skin which is good, although it is heavily fragranced.

I think it's overpriced for the quality to be honest. I would not repurchase. Love the packaging though!

Well, this is my first expensive foundation and I expect a lot from it.
The SA help me to pick the color (21 Natural Beige) which too dark for my skin tone.
Pros:
1. I like the packaging, I do longer need to put the foundation on top of my backhand.
2. The smell also nice.
Cons:
1. It's damn greasy on my face.
2. Due to the wrong color, it made my face look dark. Greasy + dark = worst foundation scenario.
3. I have huge pore, some freckles on my cheeks, few acne scar; and this foundation does not help at all to hide it.
4. The concealer is way too thick for my liking and it didn't work for me
I'm still trying to find a good foundation/bb cream till now.
Will not re-purchase it for sure. I just waste RM130 ($45).

I bought this from Hong Kong when i went there for a holiday. I used this in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur where the weather was hot and humid but the foundation still stayed pretty alright, it did run a little but staying power is not it's selling point. It mainly provides light coverage with some radiance. Most importantly, it suits my skin color and doesn't break me out.
However, I have to confess that this is not for the super-oily skin but problem should be alleviated with a good primer. Foundations with more coverage will nearly always break people out so it depends what you are looking for.

This was great until I found better. Goes on easily. Sheer coverage so won't cover scars or acne marks. Love the packaging. If you love how easily this applies, try Lacura's foundation. Applies just as easily but with way more coverage and staying power.

This is my third bottle of Laneige Snow Crystal Foundation. I used to use this foundation a while back... like three - four years ago. Back then, it was an awesome foundation, b/c my skin was not as oily.. over the years my skin became more and more oily .. so i had to switch. the staying power is not very good ): .. it's really bad.. i really like the concealer though :) . and it smells awesomee !! the packaging is unique and cute too ^.^.

I didn't like this product. I have acne scars and combination skin and this foundation went off my skin in about 2-3 hours. It is really runny and even though I set it with powder, it still doesn't stay. I found that the concealer doesn't stay and is easy to rub off.

The colour is quite suitable, and the packaging unique. When I first tried the concealer, I thought it was HG material until I found Cle de Peau.It isn't as moisturisng as CDP (I even need to rub eye cream to get the texture right) and it didn't quite fill in the scars properly. By mid-day, the concealer just sinks in and magnifies everything x3!. Coverage-wise, the foundation is just sheer-medium, and will work better with a base like the BB cream. Won't re-purchase because I'm in the mood to try other stuff.

This product is good for people who have dry skin. My own experience with this foundation is not really great. The foundation it self is somewhat runny and the coverage is not good enough if you have acne scars like me. Maybe dark spots and stuff. This product make me oily must be from the spf they put in it. The texture is soft and smooth application making it easily to apply. Otherwise, its great for people who have no breakouts or scars. A light foundation that will give you a radiance look cause of a little bit of frost in the foundation.

UPDATE 1/26/2011: I like that the color range suits my Asian yellow undertones. The concealer is decent (but it's quite light. I still prefer my MUFE concealer pallete). However, I did not like the foundation. It smells really good (clean, somewhat floral scent), but it's is a very runny, light foundation that runs off my combination skin in a matter of hours. I tend to prefer foundation with better coverage (and of course, better lasting power). It transfers a lot even though I set it. I would not repurchase this item.

I love this foundation! I brought this in 23 Sand Beige and I got the Laneige Snow Dual Whitening Plus Foundation. I wanted the one with the concealer on top, but I got this with the highlighter instead on accident. When I got home I was a little bummed when I opened it and instead of a concealer I had white cream highlighter on top instead, but it worked out fine because I love it.
The foundation itself was fantastic, perfect shade for me, easy to apply, durable and amazing flawless finish. The highlighter on top was a bonus and I actually really love it, together this is the ultimate combination.
I've got 3 foundation from Laneige, and all 3 of them have the same finish, the same texture, basically it feel the same, and I love them. If I knew this prior to buying I probably would only get this one only. If you were deciding on getting a Laneige foundation I suggest this one would be the best.
I usually only carry this with me on long trips and I dont need to bring a highlighter since this comes with it. The top comes off as well soo i dont have to carry both if i dont need, i can just put the highlighter alone in my bag and I'm good.

I bought this in Korea when I went on a holiday.
This was about $30 (AU) and I bought it from a shop called 'Aritaum' or something. I think Australia doesn't carry lanegie, you can only purchase it online or overseas.
The sales assisant matched me to colour #21.
It is perfect!!! good balance of red and yellow undertones (I'm Eurasian, fair skin tone with yellow and red undertone~ kinda neutral). For example, NC20 is too yellow for me,, NW20 is too pinky/red...if you know what I mean.
Anyway, the consistency is very liquidy, and it goes on very light.
But it still gives you a descent amount of coverage. Its got a concealer on top (same colour as the foundation) so you can cover odd spots and acne scars etc. The concealer is very useful!!!! love it!!!
The finish is very natural but very even skin! and that's what I love about this foundation. It doesn't make you look cakey and fake! looks very natural!! if your looking for a new foundation, I definitely recommend this! I've tried so many but this would be in my top 3 along with Nars sheer glow foundation ;)

This foundation is alright.Nothing super special about it. I like the fact that it doesn't break me out. It's also pretty light weight when you out it on, and I mean it doesn't feel heavy. I just wish it had better coverage. However the concealer is pretty good though.
