Supremely gentle, this milky toner is great for extra cleansing with zero irritation. Definitely suited for dry or sensitive skins. If you have strong, oily skin or need deeper cleansing, then a different toner would probably be better for you. I like to use this when my skin is feeling a little sensitive from some of my more hardcore facial products, because I don't like to skip using toner and sometimes I need to use something super-gentle. Well this fits the bill. It actually has a soothing effect on my skin, which is great when I need it. But it doesn't leave my skin refreshed and cleansed the way my other toners do, so it's not my favorite but I'd buy it again.

i received kiehl's ultra facial toner as part of a gift set last christmas and i am really enjoying it. it's the best toner i have ever used. i love its light pleasant scent, it's milky consistency and effects on my skin. my skin type is normal, combination/oily and i use this once a week before i go to bed after i wash my face or take a shower. what i love most about this toner is that is does not smell like alcohol at all since i've just read it has no alcohol in its formula and i've noticed my skin look more vibrant and healthy since i've added this to my routine. i wish i wasn't so close to running out. a great toner!

This is my HG toner. I have dry, senstivie skin and I have to be on the lookout for products that do not irritate my face or dry it out. This actually tones my skin, and helps remove any last traces of makeup that my cleanser may not have gotten off and I also love how it makes my face feel smooth before putting on makeup.

I'm a toner addict. I use two toners everyday for my night time skin care routine. I absolutely love toner and don't mind paying $$$ for it. I've tried many high end (SKII) and low end (Neutrogena) toners, so I know what is good and what is not. What is good is this Kiehls Ultra Facial Toner. It is so moisturizing! This does not contain alcohol, which a lot of toners do. The smell isn't amazing but decent, kinda reminds me of milk, maybe it is the color. I do a couple of squirts on a cotton pad (preferably Shiseido) and gently swipe it across my face. It leaves my face supple and perfect for dry weather. For such good toner to be at a good price is a steal!

I bought a trial pack of the Ultra line at Kiehls. It's excellent value by the way! Three nice-sized Ultra products for not a lot of money. Anyway, the pack came with the toner. I was hesitant to try it because my skin is so very dry. It's a thick white liquid full of gentle ingredients. I apply it with my fingers and it feels fantastic. I'm not sure what it does but my skin truly feels great when I use it. Apparently the toner on its own is expensive. Not sure if I'd repurchase but I'll see once I'm done with my mini bottle. Highly rec ladies.

I have the ultra facial cleanser and moisturizer which I absolutely love so I thought it was about time I get the toner to complete the set. I love the milky texture and it compliments the other two products well.

However, after using this product I noticed my skin going a little red and bumpy. Its made me a little hesitant to continue use.

What puts me off this product the most is the smell! It's a very strong milky type of smell that I just don't enjoy putting around my nose.

I've been using the ultra facial system in synergy for 2 and a half months now and I absolutely love it. It did more for me than the Clinique 3 step system. I love the milky texture and it absolutely refines the texture of my skin. It really cleans it without stripping away any oils because of I have dry skin with a little acne. I don't think it's pricey and I bought the whole set with the ultra facial cream for AUD$66

I love this toner. Every other toner I've used in the past have stung or irritated my skin in some way, so I was hesitant to try this. It has a milky consistency that doesn't dry out your skin. My skin actually feels soft after I use it, sometimes so much that I can get away without moisturizing. On my way out to the mall now to pick up another bottle!
