I found several reviews and recommendations for this in different magazines over the years, with some claiming that JLo loves this. On a business trip to NYC, I went to the Susan Ciminelli Spa. I have to tell you that the overall spa experience was good, but not great. But as to this product, it's the only Susan Ciminelli product I tried (and I bought quite a few) that I would repurchase. It is a fabulous cleanser, and it does leave my skin smooth and glowing. I still use Sage's Facial Shampoo, but alternate this with the Sage Scrub. It is wonderful. It contains algae (for noursihment), calendula (to soothe), rosemary (to refine pores, reduce redness, and heal), and peppermint (anti-microbial, stimulates circulation). Most of her other products contain too much essential oils, which my sensitive skin can't tolerate. However, for some reason, my skin handles the Algae Deep Cleanse just fine.
It is somewhat problematic to get some out of the jar when I'm in the shower, but I just live with it. I have already used one jar and am working on the second.
