I much prefer the Cosme Decorte AQ Vitalizing/Repair Lotion and Emulsion. The Nutritive Cream did not deliver as much moisturizing punch as I had hoped. Definitely switching back to AQ Vitalizing line.

I've written a review for CDAQ's Vitalizing Lotion, so here goes for the Nutritive Cream, which I also landed for free. The same exorbitant cost applies - a 30ml jar of this cream costs S$292 (Singapore currency).

Thumbs-up for packaging, though. It has a pretty luxurious feel to it with a screw-on gold cap, and it even comes with a spatula which you use to dispense "pearl-sized" amount of the cream to spread over your face.

Despite the price, I'd say this is definitely more cost-effective than the Vitalizing Lotion, because a little sure goes a long way. The Nutritive Cream is recommended for nighttime use, and with good reason: Those with oily skins would find the texture VERY rich, super emollient to the point of feeling heavy, and a tad gloopy. No matter how little you apply, you'll no doubt be left with a film of shine on your face. This took me some getting used to. It's definitely not for daytime wear, as I do believe your make-up wouldn't be able to stay on without streaking!

However, despite the heavy texture, it didn't cause me to break out, which probably means it's not suffocating my pores. It's worrying though, as I think the layer on my face inevitably gets wiped off when I sleep, so I try very hard to sleep on my back! Anyway, upon wakening, my skin does feel smoother and softer, I have to admit. Sigh, but the price is just so off-putting.

The Nutritive Cream is one of AQ's products with the highest level of their winning ingredient - white birch sap. And it's very oily because of these key ingredients (I suspect, though I'm no expert): squalene, hydrogenated coconut oil, candelilla wax, soybean protein, hydrogenated palm oil, rice bran wax, paraffin.

I'd say a jar can last you 6 months or more. I might post an update after I've finished my jar. No harm taking the plunge and trying out this night cream... but only if you're over 35 (the recommended age for this product), or are those with really dry, flaky skin.
