Hmm, I've had a very different experience with this lipstick than others apparently. On my very fair skin, this lipstick comes across as a rosy beige color..yet I see lots of complaints about it being orange...I got this lipstick with the "Walk of Shame" kit, and it's the component I use the most out of the kit. Love the texture, very creamy and moist without being sticky. $20 is a bit much for me to pay for a lipstick, but I like this so much that when I run out...I will fork it over.

Great color payoff, lovely formulation, and pretty packaging but I had a bad allergic reaction to this (itching, swelling, you name it) so I can't say I'd recommend it. Had the makings of a perfect lipcolor for me, but because of the allergic reaction, I can't repurchase. :(

I think what women consider "nude" these days is a washed out concealer shade that truly does not flatter anyone. They often pair it with smokey eyes and far too much bronzer. In order to give nudes some life or be realistic for skin tones, a sort of peach or pink has to be added. It compliments more people and I really wish girls and grown women would figure out that concealer nude is not the way to go.

The color looks nice when swatched but on the lips it lookes dry and cakey and not flattering at all. at least on me.

The only reason I am writing this review is because it's been hard for me to find the perfect nude lipstick that doesn't wash out my tan skin (Think Freida Pinto or Snookie). I went on several make up blogs, tried their suggestions, and each time I had to take the lipstick back because it didn't look good. I thought I found it with Revlon Colorstay Mineral Lipgloss in Timeless Nude (great color) but the formula was too thick and ironically didn't last very long. I was at Ulta looking for a name brand lipstick with a similar color but no luck. I was browsing Two Faced cosmetics and gave Totally Nude a shot. I usually stay away from brown lipsticks but decided to try it on anyway. The color is lighter than what you see in the tube and is PERFECT for tan skin. Not only is the color perfect but the formula is light and intentionally smoothes out the wrinkles in your lips for a flawless finish. This is going to be a staple in my makeup routine!

I don't know what world this color is a nude...if nude is an orangey brown color then this is perfect but thats not nude. When something is called totally nude I expect the color to be nude...not a deep brown tinted orange color.

I compared this side by side on my hand with Bare Escentuals nude lipstick and the Too Faced Totally Nude looked like it had a lot more pinky orange tones in it. I didn't think it would look good on me. However, I tried this today and really enjoyed the shade and feel of this lipstick. It is creamy, long lasting and non-drying. I am light skinned NW15 and it didn't show up too pink or orange on me. I think it looked very good and very close to what I'm looking for in a nude lipstick. I'll probably still be on the search for the perfect nude, however, Maybe, I'm obsessive?

Totally Nude is a perfect nude color for when you want toned down lips. The formula is great, it goes on smooth, has minimal shine, and wears for pretty long too. The packaging is sleek. I'd definitely repurchase this!

I love the formula of this lipstick, it is very creamy, moisturizing, and glides on smoothly. I am not crazy about the color, but works well if you want to emphasize your eyes. Smell has not been a problem.

This can only be considered "nude" if you are an Oompa-Loompa. You're welcome in advance.

I like this lipstick brand but, this color just didn't fit me. It's not a total nude like it's name said its more brown tone maybe even orangey-brown toned. The lipstick is good this color just wasn't what I thought it would be.

swapped for this lipstick, and i have to say that this is now my HG nude lipstick. It's the perfect nude for me. the only complaint that I have is that it has that cosmetic-y/perfumed smell to it that i really could do without. But it's definitely my new favorite lipstick.

This is definitely not a nude color as it has too much orange/brown tones in it. I would say it creates more of a neutral lip than a nude lip. So it is nice when you want a toned down lip because you are loading the eye area with color. A very creamy lipstick but it dries out my lips. Comes in a super cute silvery pink case with a faux jewel on top.

This lipstick is totally mislabeled! This is not at all a Nude lipstick. It is very brown. For a truer "Nude" try the shade Free Love. Or for an even truer nude try MAC Creme d'Nude or Gosh Darling.
I don't think this shade of brown is flattering on anyone with fair to medium skin tone.
This lipstick is included in the Walk of Shame makeup set for $38. It sells for $18 on its own.

I bought this as part of a set. I cannot begin to tell you how bad it smells. It reminds me of-forgive me-vomit. I tried it on, had to wipe it off. I ended up getting another set that included one of these lipsticks and it too was terrible. JMO but I can't see spending full price on this. I love Too Faced but this was a big miss for me.

The first time I wore this, I was totally in love with it. I don't know what happened, but this l/s to me is just kind of "eh" now. It is an okay nude color. A little dark for my NC30 skin. The formula is creamy. I tried putting gloss on top of this, but it looked weird. It looks better alone. It lasts pretty long though. I've had two cups of coffee and had eaten lunch and it is still on. Not bad. My HG nude is Mac Freckletone. I tried comparing this two, and Too Faced Totally Nude is way darker that Freckletone. Maybe this will look better in the summer.

I've been searching for the perfect Nude for far too long, and the sales person at Sephora told me to try this one. I give her an "A" for effort, the color is exactly what I wanted (I am lightly tanned with golden/olive undertones I wear MUFE shade 123) and the packaging is adorable. Unfortunately I hate the formula though, very sticky and greasy and doesn't last very long. I keep it in my makeup drawer as a "backup" lipstick.

I will try this with a different gloss, but I gotta say I'm not thrilled so far. I thought the bedazzled packaging looked cute when I ordered it online but in person it just looks silly :( Not crazy about the color, its not at all orangey on me but its just flat and dull...I tried w/ a nude gloss and it looked like poo. With a clear gloss slightly better...I dunno maybe I will try it sometime with really dramatic eye mu and come back to say I love it but so far its not really working for me..
EDIT
I tried this with a few different glosses b/c I wasn't quite ready to give up on it, found I like it a lot with Too Faced diamond gloss in champagne and Mac lipglass- elaborate, both very sparkly champagne colors that give it that pop and shine that it lacks and essential for me, both add a golden shimmery tone. Clear and nude glosses just left this looking too flat and brown for my warm skintones. I don't think this will be a frequent fave, or much of a daytime look b/c w/out loads of gloss its just too flat... but its definitely hot for a night out paired with seriously dark and dramatic eyes.

I now own Totally Nude and Drop Dead Red, LOVE the formula, big yay, I want like 6 other shades of Lip of Luxury lipsticks! They smell like champagne with a bit of strawberry, sooo yummy. The Drop Dead Red I blot down and wear like a stain, the Totally Nude is a universally flattering natural shade, not a true nude, but a beige-y, slightly orangey neutral pink. The formula applies like a dream and wears great. Plus the girly tube is luxe and adorable!

I'm a bit confused as to why they named this "Totally Nude" because its not. =/ It has alot of orange/brown color in it. It's not an ugly color or anything, but its definately not a nude color.
