I agree with most of the reviewers. This eye cream is terrible. I experienced a slight burning sensation on the upper and lower lids of my eyes. It didnt' go away until I re-washed my face to remove it and then my lids tingled until I applied a calming gel. I definitely won't buy again.

I think this product isn't getting that fair of a rap on here. I liked it myself. It's is a great consistency and is thick enough to make my eyes feel moisturized. I bought it because I was looking for an eye cream without retinol or AHA. I use Roc deep wrinkle treatment at night so I didn't want to use another retinol based product on top of it. This smooths my eye area and makes it feel softer. As far as claims of getting rid of all lines & crows feet, does any product really claim to be a miracle in a tube? (Another bonus - it it's in a tube instead of jar). I think a lot of people expect way to much out of a product, they don't work miracles people!! But if you are looking for a nice basic eye cream, don't discount this one. I'll buy it again. continued >>

This was a waste of money for me. I don't think it did anything. I finished the tube and didn't notice a difference. I like the consistency. It's a very light, soft, and easily blendable cream. You don't see any residue after application, and you don't "feel" anything around your eye either....but other than that, I didn't see my eyes looking brighter, younger, or renewed. My tiny eye wrinkles didn't improve. I'm still a little confused as to what exactly was supposed to happen. Nice consistency, but that's about it. I'm movin' on...

Such a disappointing product... Burned my eye area for several minutes after applying! Also made my skin dry, flaky and itchy.
Was hoping it would work since I wanted an eye cream with antioxidants and I enjoyed the scent of this one.

I just purchased my second tube. I love this eye cream mostly because it does not irritate my eyes! The cream is soft and blends into my skin very quickly and easily - never do I see any type of residue near my eyes. As for results...well, here's why I'm giving it 4 lippies: I don't see dramatic results. BUT, I do not believe in miracle creams either. Overall, I notice that my eyes look a bit brighter and the fine lines are less visible. Not a miracle worker, but a good eye de-stresser and enhancer.

I Love this product. I actually noticed softened wrinkles under my eyes with continued use. Have tried other more expensive products and never noticed a difference so I always go back to this. It is not heavily moisturizing if you are comparing it to something richer. I just find this works for me.

I'm actually planning on returning this product very soon. This is my first eye cream product, and I found it to be "heavy" (ie: made me sleepy) on my eyelids and the area below my eyes. In addition, there is a little sparkle in the cream, which I dislike because I tend to rub my eyes a lot.. therefore those sparkles can get into my eyes. However, the tube-like packaging for the product is very cute and convenient.

I used to this and even bought it twice, but after the second purchase it was pretty clear that I was not going to buy it again. I originally liked it because it was pretty gentle. It didn't leave my eye area red, burning, or flaky like some creams had done to my poor eyes. It left my eye area moisturized but only shortly after application. I remember too many days while at work or at school how much I could not wait till I got home and slather vaseline around my eyes because of how dry my eyes felt. It was a pretty uncomfortable feeling and I'm pretty sure that the eye cream had something to do with it. And the product yet still didn't make the eye area flaky but just tight...
I moved onto Clinique's All About Eyes and ahhh did that feel so much better!

I really like this product. I wouldn't have tried it if I hadn't gotten it at a warehouse sale for $7 a tube. It hydrates my eye area and looks to have reduced some of the fine lines. I have no adverse reactions to it, which is a plus. It is not my top favourite but it was on sale and if I find it on sale again I will rebuy.

I have used the other products in this line, and like them very much. However, this eye treatment is the worst ever. It burned my lids for several minutes and in the morning my lids were swollen and red. That's that. I will return to the only Avon product I use, an intensive day/night eye treatment that works very well for me with no adverse reaction.

I didn't read the reviews when I bought this product, but I didn't have the problem of it stinging or balling up. It could of been that others may have been allergic to it or the product was old, etc. I like that it goes on quite sheer and I like that it does have a bit of sparkle its not very noticeable but it does help to brighten my eye area. It did help lessen the appearance of my fine lines and better moisturization at my eye area. So i'll continue to use it.
EDIT: 1/11/2010 I believe it must be the retinol in this product that is making me sensative to other products I use. Lately, I get a burning sensation when I use my moisturizer. I have since stopped using all retinol products and everything is back to normal.

Product burned skin and then proceeded to roll up into balls as I blended around the eye area. A real disappointment

Once again I purchased a product before reading the reviews. And this was such a waste of money! I paid $22 for this cream and it has done NOTHING, not even moisturized my eye area. Instead it burned my skin a little and balled up when I tried to rub it in my skin. Originally I did think that the burning sensation could be some skin-renewing exfoliant like Retinol, but after using a whole tube and experiencing nothing I believe it is just bad formulation. Awful, expensive product that I will certainly avoid purchasing again. continued >>

this is my first review and i've been looking at mua for a couple years now.... so obviously this is the first product that ive felt passionate enough to speak of! antioxidant age reverse eye cream is pointless! too expensive and seriously, it burns my eyes for a good 3-4 minutes. will never repurchase! sorry neutrogena!

This eye cream was pricey and it did not do a thing for me. It didn't even moisturize. I use it b/c its there and I can't return it. No difference what so ever - do not make the mistake of getting it even near your eye - it burns.

Do yourself a big favor by not buying this. Expensive and waste of money. Not moisturizing enough and just use your regular face moisturizer on your eyes and save $$$.

Save your money. As others stated it is not very moisturizing. I would recommend it for day use, but it has a tingling sensation that made me suspicious. So I looked at the ingredients, lots of alcohols – and as I understand it, that is not good for skin. It does have UVA protection. It’s only real anti-oxidant is soy (not very impressive). It extremely over priced, and I saw no real difference.

Pretty average. It definitely did help my eye area vs. nothing .. it's a bit smoother and not so dry, but nothing spectacular. The only thing that I really didn't like was the stinging feeling I experienced when using this cream.. if I put too much it would make my eyes water. So once I'm done with this one I'll try something else. Honestly I much prefer the clean & clear morning glow eye cream .. again its pretty average, but it has a nice cooling feeling at least. continued >>

This is an OK eye cream, I bought it to use it as my nighttime eye treatment but it's not moisturizing enough for me for that purpose, and I have oily skin (I believe that people w/ drier skin won't like this). Then I decided to try it for daytime, since it's more light-weight and leaves a non-greasy feeling, yeah, it worked better during the day, because I can't apply on a rich/heavy eye cream under my make-up, but still need to keep my skin well hydrated, so this was just good. I'm going to use this up as a daytime eye cream but won't repurchase (I already have my HG eye treatment for day --Neutregena's Healthy Skin Eye Cream). My search for my perfect nighttime eye treatment still is on :)
