I've been using my bottle of this for a long time and it's satisfactory. However, it turns so greasy after an hour or two. And even though I have the lightest color, it's still a tad dark on me and it oxidizes into a beige color after a while.
I'm going to get the Teint Miracle one next and hope it's more matte. And hopefully, the lightest shade is light enough for me. It's so hard to find foundation and concealers for pale skin.

am using Pearl 140(N) and find it a perfect match. does not sink into pores or creases and just checked in mirror after 6 hours. all still there along with Clair 2 concealer. am amazed right now because i seem to be turning into a lancome girl. every other day use Cream Douceur for cleansing - the other days being water with a tissue. no redness or rash issues. thank goodness for samples or would never have bought any of these products. my darphin tangerine or orange oil is a must underneath and that sinks right in. happy with Black Ice eyeliner which is not black and will review that separately.

This is the best foundation I have used in years! I had laser resurfacing on my face 5 years ago and had a bit of pigmentation change at my jawline and have had a really difficult time finding a foundation that was shear but covered well and this one works! There are a number of shades to choose from and I found one that absolutely blends the pigmentation problem into the rest of my skin and looks purely natural. I've checked it in every kind of light and it is perfect. At the department store counter the Lancome rep gave me two samples....one a tiny bit darker than the other as the lighting in the store hardly ever is accurate. My skin is thin and fair to neutral with few fine lines and this product does not settle into that line between my eyebrows! Super! A little goes a long way too.

Well here it is~ I have been contemplating this review because I wanted to be SURE before I wrote this. This is a very good foundation. I was horrified to learn that my HG Dior Sculpt was being discontinued. I wore Linen #21 and it was beautiful and matched my skin perfectly. So the hunt began. I spent over two weeks searching for a good foundation that (1) gave decent coverage without being mask like (2) did not clog pores or irritate my skin--prone to redness and (3) was a perfect color match, ie... my face and neck matched! I tried over 30 different foundations. Everything from Chanel, Clarins, Clinique, Dior,Giorgio Armani, Givinchy, Laura Mercier, Lorac, MAC, Tarte, to Yves Saint Laurent. Finally Lancome had a color match that was so close to Dior Sculpt. It was Pearl 135 (NW) I also liked YSL Radiance Smoothing but the spf is only 8 and the color #8 is a tad bit darker than the pearl and my skin tone. So if you are interested give this one a try. I got two vials of this from the Lancome rep. and used both. I fell in love with it immediately but wanted to be sure it did not break me out or cause other skin irritation. :D
UPDATE: Just purchased third bottle, gift w/purchase, yeah! I still love this stuff. The color match is exact! and the coverage, look and feel are impeccable. Great foundation!

Paula Begoun recommends this foundation for OILY skin, not mature and dry as recommended by Lancome. The wrong skin types are using this... and that may be the reason for some of the bad reviews. Unless your skin is oily, this could look a bit cakey on you. Oily gals will love this product's coverage and the wonderful feel it has when it dries on your face. The colors are nice too. I tried Ecru 220 (N). That was the closest to my light/medium skin tone, but still too yellow. I highly recommend this product for oily-skinned someones seeking natural looking medium to full coverage makeup--provided you can find a color match! I should also say that my skin, now at age 38, no longer classifies as oily, so this formula was a bit too drying for me afterall. A tad cakey for my normal, middle-aged skin. I'm better off with with something less drying.

Very unhappy with this product. It only lasted about an hour on my face and then it looked like I had no foundation on. I also had more breakouts when I used this versus when I didn't. I like most things Lancome but this was not what I hoped for.

I am delighted with the sheer coverage and radiant glow; my skin is mature and very fair with fine lines so this foundation gives me the even pigment I want and does not settle in my lines. I wear the Absolue 30 SPF as a base.....do think this is a foundation for the normal to dry crowd, too moist if you are oily.

the sales lady warned me .. probably trying to tell me indirectly that this wasnt the best they have ..
but since i read and saw so many great reviews on here i had to get it..
cons- a lot of money !!! ..this is more for mature skin..it made me look 'dead' if that makes sense.. it didnt do anything for me ? hard to explain.. it just sat there ..bland..dead skin like..nothing to it.. nothing special....
pros- full coverage.
not repurchasing..teint idole is so much better
edit--... after having not used this for a while and having just put it on.. this makes me look like a dead person...lifeless and sallow.

I'm still undecided on this one. I have been trying a 10 day sample I went to the Lancome counter and asked for. I am 49 and my skin has become drier due to menopause onset and hormonal changes. I've been using Prescriptives Virtual Skin (oil free) but it has become to drying for my skin. I like the coverage of this Lancome foundation and the smoothness it gives me skin. It does not settle in pores either and has cause no outbreaks. However, I am finding I need to apply powder throughout the day more often as the foundation is causing quite a bit of "shine" (oil). So....rather or not this is worth the nearly $60 a bottle I am still deciding. And with summer right around the corner a foundation that causes shine may not be teh best choice for the season. I'll report back.
*** Note to Wildcats above-this foundation is specifically for mature skin-it says so right on the box it comes in, hello ! did you read it ? ! Perhaps the sales lady advised you better and you didn't heed her warning ? ****

I recently started using prescription meds for my acne and I have been soooo dry. I have been a loyal fan of EL double wear for years and recently double wear light. But since my skin has been so dry I did some research on a good non-drying foundation. This one had rave reviews so I got a GENEROUS sample. I LOVE this foundation. It is what I wished Armani Luminous Silk had been for me (that one made me super greasy super fast). This is so smooth and slightly dewy, covers everything generously, lasts and feels moisturizing. I don't know if I'll be able to use it in the middle of summer, but it works great for right now. I am NC 30 and use Ecru 240 in this. It is a great match and will allow for me to get darker in the summer. I love that it has yellow undertones! (I'm latin) I hate that it is so expensive but I think this is my HG moisturizing foundation!
UPDATE: This did get a little shiny for me last summer. I used my DW light instead. Since the weather got cooler my face has been soooo dry. I also have been using topical acne meds so my skin is also very sensitive. I have started using this again and still love it! I also tried Laura Mercier's silk creme, but that didn't blend as well and didn't look as natural on me. This is still a winner! 11/2/08
3/2/10 I have started using Lancome's Renergie Lift since this one is so pricey and a little too shiney for me. I also found a better color match in Renergie. If Renergie is ever discontinued I will come back to this.

Overall I like this product...it gives beautiful, dewy medium to full coverage but yet still feels light and natural!!! (no cakiness!!! and does not settle into pores!!) I love it!! I find that the colors run a little darker in this line however,..I am usually Intensity II (Clair 20 in Renergie) however I have found myself using Intensity I Absolute Pearl (120)in this and then using a deeper colored powder to add a little warmth back in... I tried the Ecru 220 which they say is neutral but it darkened a bit and turned orange on me... other than finding a good color match (which I have overcome through trial and error) I highly recommend this foundation!! It is a little pricey however!!! but I find it is one of the better foundations out there.

I love this foundation. It covers really well for a liquid foundation and leaves a beautiful finish to the skin. It also still looks good on the skin at the end of the day. I have some brown spots and find that even by the end of the day they are still covered. I have dry skin and it is not drying and does not settle into lines. Lancome got it right with this one!

I normally use Teint Idole Ultra but found it kind of dried on me too much and accentuated my flakes in the winter. I'm going through a "Peely" phase right now and wanted something more moisturizing.
Finding a color in this can be hit or miss. I'm a Buff 2 in the Teint Idole and have warm overtones. The colors online are deceiving, so I suggest a trip t the Lancome Counter to get a match. I'm using Absolute Pearl 120(n) and despite the neutral tone has more of a orange tint to it despite it's name. Surprisingly enough it matched my skin and blended in beautifully. It covered my hyperpigmentation very well. It's very moisturizing and would be good for drier skins and those who need some TLC after having pocedures and peels done. I was using a retinoid which left me peeling and scaly and this does not accentuate the flakes at all.
I like the pump dispenser. I refuse to buy stuff in jars anymore because of contamination. The regular Absolue comes in a jar and I steered away from that despite the better colors. This is highly pigmented which means a little goes a long way. IT should last for a long time which makes the costs not so bad. I believe in spending more for a really good foundation then anything else.
So far, no breakouts and I am very acne-prone with the wrong products. This is gentle and moisturizing without being greasy. I did not use a primer under this and it went on very smoothly and even. I can't say it's my HG yet. I like Teint Idole for summer because of it's long wearing properties. But this one may become my favorite before long.
If you go to the Lancome counter get a sample of this and try it out. You may have to work on finding a color but it's worth it. I like it way much better than Laura Mercier. Her stuff tends to be hard to blend and doesn't sink into my skin like this. It looks even better after you have had it on for awhile!
I think this would be an appropriate foundation for those who are very sensitive. It's very gentle, no heavy fragrance and is soothing. I'm sensitive and acne-prone and have combo skin that changes with the seasons. This one fits te bill.

I use a mineral foundation for the most part, but I like a liquid foundation for when I go out at night or just feel like my skin is too dry for minerals. The SA at Macy's sold me on this one as soon as it went on my face. It is a nice, smooth, foundation that covers very well with a foundation brush. I have Ecru, which is a good color for me. It is expensive, but a little goes far. It is great for my dry skin but does not look too shiny. It lasts all day, In fact, I thought I would need dynamite to get it off once I started washing it off :-) Anyway, it is the best liquid foundation I have ever used. I would buy again.

This is expensive foundation, so I was expecting a lot out of it. It delivers. I use triax, benzaclin, and retin A, so I have acne issues, but very dry skin due to the pharmaceuticals I use. This is GREAT foundation for me. Super good coverage, great color match (which stays true), a nice feel on the face. I love the pump - it delivers a perfect amount of foundation and keeps everything clean. I would definitely buy this again.
Adding on some more info.... During the summer I developed some sunspots and I was quite annoyed with them. I don't wear foundation during the summer but once I started again during the fall, using this helped fade the spots rather quickly.
Just want to reiterate that this stuff is awesome!!!

This is the new foundation from Lancome and I only got a sample so sorry but this review won't be complete as I don't know the ingredients yet.
The liquid is supposed to be for dry skin type and I loved how this smoothed on so easily because my skin is extra dry right now. SPf 18 but I have a feeling this has a chemical component to the SPF as my skin burned a little or the burning could have been from the yams, algae, soy or light fragrance this contains.
Coverage was light to medium.
I was given ecru for my LLL: skintype which was probably the best option--most of the colors looked a tad pink. Based on my experience with the creme Absolue foundation the colors did run pink and it doesn't look like with the liquid version, they changed the colors that much. So if you have pink undertones and are dry but not sensitive, you could be in foundation heaven with this one.
