Best duo ever! I had no time for eye shadows until I bought this! I use it everyday without fail, it just goes with everything! I've now bought about 20 Nars singles and duos but this is still my favourite. The sales assistant at Mecca told me their is the best selling duo from Nars and I'm not surprised at all. Love this!!

I feel like I'm constantly saying that products are my favorite. However, I have to say that Alhambra is one amazing duo. The champagne color is very beautiful and natural. The shimmer is pretty subtle. The pink color is also nice. The lasting power is amazing. This stuff does not crease. I've never had a shadow last so long before.

This is a very good duo. It brighten my eyes immediately. Its very easy to put on eye lids. Just use fingers! Its good for a base or daily wear.

I love this eyeshadow duo! This was the first NARS duo that I purchased, and I have since then purchased countless more. The quality of these shadows are top-notch. 500000000x better than other brands that I have tried. Alhambra contains two very neutral colors, both with gold tones. This is my go-to duo, and it never fails me. Love!

I love this duo- the first shade is a peachier, pinker gold and the second is more of a "true" gold. The texture is amazing and it's opaque enough to wear on it's own, although the colors lend themselves well to highlighting, etc. The only reason I'd give this 4 instead of 5 is that I can only really wear the peachier shade on it's own (because of my skintone, not the product itself) and I DO experience a little bit of fallout while applying, although that was remedied by patting it on rather than just swiping it. Overall, this is an amazing shadow!

This duo is made of two fairly "neutral" neutrals, by that I mean that even though one of them is golden and the other one is peachier, they go well with any color. I've even used it as a highlighter with blue e/s. Also, they're not too opaque so you can blend them with other eyeshadows and it will look very natural. Nars is my favourite brand of e/s, unfortunately it's very pricey. I wanted to buy neutral colors that would work well as highliters and lid colors, and at first I wanted to buy Mac Naked Lunch and Nylon to save money. I am glad I bought Alhambra instead because it looks more sophisticated.
Also, if you're having a dilemma between this one and All About Eve, I recommend getting both if you can, or only Alhambra if you're on a budget. AAE is useful for blending colors together because it is supposed to be a frostier version of your own skin color but I get more use out of Alhambra.

Alhambra is a great basic neutral duo. Both shades in the duo have that "buttery" consistency that NARS is known for (which not all of the duo shadows have imo). The shade on the left is a champagne pink/shell color that is similar to Stila "kitten" eyeshadow. I used to own kitten and this shadow is a slightly more toned down (less frosty) and grown-up version.The shade on the right is a golden beige with the same amount of shimmer as the other shadow. It's a very "natural" golden color as opposed to a bright "yellow gold".
I'm asian and white so my skin tone is in between a NC25 and NW25 depending on the season. Right now I'm pretty tan so I like to wear the golden color on my lids with a matte brown shadow in the crease for a natural look. In the winter when I'm paler and the pink is more visible in my cheeks, I like to wear the pinkish champagne color all over my lid with a lighter matte brown in my crease. You could always use the colors together and both shades work well as highlighters/inner corner shades. All about eve duo is very similar to this, but I find the shades a tad too light for my skin tone. If you're a really pale, rosy white girl I'd go for AAE if you're a little darker or of a medium complexion, go for Alhambra you won't regret it :)

This is my everyday eyeshadow. When I say everyday I mean it. I love how the clean the colors on my lids. The lighter color (metallic rose mist) gives a super clean look and the darker one (golden champagne) is a great lid color. I can wear it everyday and want to wear it everyday. Like all the Nars eyeshadows I have, this one has smooth texture, great pigmentation and never creases. I would buy this again definitely. *When I made the purchase, I was choosing between AAE and this one. I didn't swatch them nor search other's swatch. Days ago I went to Nars counter and tried AAE, AAE doesn't look on me. The right hand side color is a soft, light peach, which always gives me a sick look. Glad I bought Alhambra!!

These shadows are great staples for any collection. The right side is a gold champagne and the left is a pinky champagne. They both complement my green eyes very well. As with all NARS shadows, they are nicely pigmented and blend well. You also get a large amount of product which makes the price fairly reasonable.

I would describe the colours as a pink champagne and gold champagne. Both colours work amazingly as an inner corner, all over the lid or highlighter shade. Perfectly pigmented and versatile. Great for everyday or brightening up any look!
Depending on your skin undertone, you'll use the pink side more if your cooler-toned or the gold if you're warmer tones or if you're darker skinned. HOWEVER, I find that the pink-champgane is a better brightening/highlighting shade than the gold shade and could probably work on everyone. I also find it more finely milled than the goldish side.
I'm neutral-warm but the pink side really brightens my inner corner.
Love it and totally would buy it again.

This duo is perfect for a very natural eye. The colors are shimmery but not over the top and glide on like a dream and blend out beautifully. However, to me this is a more expensive version of Mac's shadows Naked lunch and Femme fi. I swatched them and The pink side is more shimmery than naked lunch but the color payoff once blended was the same. The yellow side is less shimmery than Femme fi but once again, pretty much the same once blended out. I do like this duo but I see no point in owning this and the other 2 shadows mentioned(which I do). If you prefer Nars over Mac buy this instead. So I probably would not repurchase.

A very good staple for anyone wanting a natural look. The pinker side isnt really that pigmented so I like to use it as a highlighter on the brow bone and well and the cheekbones. Try mixing it with Orgasm multiple too :)

This is my favorite eyeshadow ever!! I use it almost everyday. I can without foudation, powder, blush but not this eyeshadow. I love it. It is very much needed in everyones makeup collection. I love how the colors are neutral engough for day wear and can provide great highlight or base for night wear. If I am running late for school, I just use this some mascara and I am good to go. However, I prefer more of a natural look and this product is my must have to achieve that. awesome duo highly recommend.

this is a romantic nude/neutral set. I would choose this over the all about eve duo (if youre deliberating). it's a versatile duo for daily office/out face - as well as evening. one is rose/pink gold nude shimmer, the other yellow gold nude shimmer. i'm ga lsf 2#, lancome effercenes 01, earthy essences matte dewy rose, light green/blue eyes. neutral dark hair. always hungry

Nars eyeshadows are like butter they're so soft and so pigmented. This is also a beautiful colour for everyday.

my favorite~

This has become very quickly a HG and a staple! These two neutral shades are beautifully shimmery without being too frosty or over the top, there is something very subtle, delicate and chic about them. The NARS website describes them as Rose Mist and Golden Champagne and I think this description is accurate.
I have worn them together (darker shade in the crease), both on their own, as eyeshadow washes, paired with black liner and with another shade for extra oomph (the lighter brown from Cordura, for example). Expensive but worth every penny as it is so versatile - would definitely repurchase!

So after months of reading and re-reading the reviews on this I *finally* caved and bought it. I wonder what the heck I was waiting so long for!! This is GORGEOUS!! This is the equivalent of what NARS AAE does for those lighter skinned lovlies..only for the tan/darker toned gals! I sooo wanted to like AAE, but it was too cool toned and frosty on my asian MC NC30-35 skin tone. (i can pull it off as a brow bone highlight, but that's about it). Alhambra on the other hand is perfect!!
On the one side it is a lovely golden/tan/hint of peach shade with a lovely subtle shimmer. Very pigmented, soft and easy to blend. Typical NARS quality.
The other side is a nice soft slightly shimmer, slightly burnt peachy/champagne shade that compliments the other side of this duo wonderfully. This is also very pigmented, soft and easy to blend.
Overall this is a perfect everyday neutral with a little sass. I am quite pleased I got this!! Its just a shame I waited so long to get it continued >>

I really like these shadows they are both really nice, and the texture of the the powder itself is great!!! I usually wear the salmon ish color, on my lid and wear a light brown on the crease, it looks very natural and I achieve an everyday look, if these shadows ever finish I will for sure re-purchase.
