This review is for *Lemon Drops & Candied Violets* scented scrub. I consider myself a bit of a scrub connoisseur. I'm kinda like Goldilocks: some scrubs are too harsh (salt), some are too slippery (oily), some are too wimpy and don't exfoliate (most sugar), but this one is just right!
I had no idea what this would smell like and I'm not good at describing scents; it is simply INTOXICATING! I love that it lingers on my skin afterwards and wish I had a lotion or a perfume in this! When I first opened it, I didn't even want to use it because it's so pretty! It has a small Violet flower in the middle and a few other tiny things! So cute! The scrub itself has an amazing texture, it's thick and you don't have to worry about it slipping through your fingers. If you drop it in the shower, you can pick it right back up and that is a feat! Don't let the pretty flowers and the scent fool you though, it has some "oomph" to it! The sugar doesn't dissolve just by sitting on the skin, you have to gently massage it into the skin and it even produces a nice lather! That's my biggest complaint for most scrubs, the fact that I feel like I need to cleanse after using. Or busing my arse with all the oil! Not this one! It exfoliates, it cleanses, it leaves the skin soft and it does it all with no SLS! (And I know there's no animals testing! YAY!) I don't have too much room in my shower, but this has earned itself a coveted spot; leaving my Victoria's Secret scrub in the basket and my Origins Matcha Tea scrub in the closet. Well done CP! Love this scrub!!! continued >>
