This is a rather poor gel based eye cream that stings the skin I apply to. I don't like the consistency at all because it does not sink into the skin. I might rub my eye later in the day and I end up with little balls of gel peeling off. In fact they gel tends to dry up and flake through the day, meaning it has to be washed off, otherwise I just end up with layers of solidified gel on reapplication - not something I expect from moisturising product. It leaves the eye area very shiny which looks obvious. Its hard to rub in without rubbing the eye quite hard because the gel is solid. As for winkles, well, it is actually quite hydrating so it does do something, but there are so many better products out there!!!

I didn't really need anything anti aging I just wanted a good eye treatment for night time 'cause my burts bees radiance eye cream was just doing a so so job. I only get like 7 hours of sleep a night so I kind of look like hell a lot. It was expensive about $17 I believe but that's cheaper than the burts bees which is $25 So I gave boots a shot because it had really good reviews. So I would say I've been using it like 6 weeks or something. So its definitely not something to wear under makeup unless you use a very tiny amount and really rub it in. But its obvious its a night treatment. So after the first use I noticed my dark circles were going away already. My skin around my eyes looked plumper, and just healthier. I love this stuff. But what I DONT like is when I first put it on it stings a little, so I put burts bees over it because its soothing and moisturizing. And it DID give me red bumps around my eyes but I kept using it anyway and it went away. So I only use a small amount since whatever is in it irritates my eyes. Other than that I love it and it really works. I used it on my lips also but I don't really need it. It just made my lips look softer. I tried it on my whole face too and it moisturized pretty good. This is a good buy. If it does irritate your eyes a little stick it out like I did my skin got used to it :)

I bought this as I noticed fine lines and signs of aging around my lips. Wrinkles were visible to me when I applied lipstick and especially after a few hours of wear and it really bothered me.
I was skeptical when I read on the bottle that whoever will use this serum will see results in 4 weeks. According to many reviewers on here it didn't change anything. However, I do see a major difference in the way the skin around my lip area looks now and looked before. I have been using this serum for about 2 months now applying it religiously every evening under or over my moisturiser before going to bed. The skin seems to be plumper and wrinkles are not as visible as they were. I am going to continue to use this product as the results are very satisfying.
This serum is one of the more expensive products from Boots Botanics range, but it is worth every penny, especially if you pick this up in Boots when there is 3 for 2 on skincare (please buy the eye makeup remover from this range too).
Highly recommended!
UPDATE 02/11/11 I wanted to take an advantage of the 3 for 2 offer in Boots and it looks like this product is no longer available. I've never managed to repurchase it:(

After all the good reviews here I was hoping this would work for me. I used it for about two weeks. At first it was fine, and I even thought it might be helping to lessen my dark circles. However after a few days the skin around my eyes started to sting when I put this on. Then my eyelids got itchy and irritated. I stopped using the serum and it went away. I guess I'll have to try again to see if the same thing happens, but maybe only use it at night. Sad, I really wanted this to work!

I've been suffering from a lack of sleep and people began commenting on how tired I looked. They mentioned the bags under my eyes. I knew that I needed to add moisture to the skin under my eyes and I was looking for something that would be easily absorbed and wasn't too rich. I think this moisturizer suits my needs and provides the right amount of moisture the skin under my eyes needs. I've been using this for 2 weeks now and so far I like it.

I don't think this works as a "first signs of aging" correction serum for the eyes and lips. It doesn't do any harm and in fact I think it's got a pretty good texture and is fairly moisturising, but as an anti aging product this gets the thumbs down from me. I'd buy it again for it's moisturising properties - especially for my lips but for anti aging I think I'll probably be looking elsewhere. You get a pretty good amount in the bottle though, I've been using it for ages and only just got past half way.

I think I should not review it right now since I have only started using a week ago but somehow I have this intuition that this serum is not doing good on my face. I applied on my eyes and around my lips. It stings both my eyes and lips. I don't know why. And I only apply the serum around my lips on two days, it has already given me two pimples near the lips. As for the eyes, I have no comment besides it stings me badly on my upper eyelids. I will definitely update my progress when time is right. And since this is a correction serum, I actually use it on my forehead and neck where lines are formed. I am hoping maybe this serum can help on out on these areas.

Not sure how I feel about this product. I purchased this after reading all the rave reviews on this site. I used it to the last drop. I really can't tell if it is doing anything, I don't have a ton of wrinkles yet to really be able to tell how this worked on that front. But I can say that I had no adverse effects. It seemed to be moisturizing and it worked well under my make up and occasional primer. I will say I love the packaging, I wish more companies would steer away from the pots when it came to face products! I did try it on my lips, however I kept breaking out along my upper lip. This seemed to subside after I stopped using it on my lips. While I was using it there, my lips were very soft but I guess my skin revolted.

This is the best eye cream I have ever tried... it has a lovely balmy consistency, and is SO moisturizing. It lasts for ages too. Give it a try! I've only given it 4 out of 5 because I am not sure how effective it is with fine lines and wrinkles... didn't make a massive difference for me, but maybe I need to use it for longer.

EDIT 3/26/10: I don't know what's happening but this stuff is the best... I started using it under my foundation and my huge pores just shrink without puckering (a big problem with any pore-minimizing product I have used!!!) you have to try this! My lips are baby smooth and my eyes have not looked this fresh in years!
ORIGINAL MESSAGE: I MUA I bought this yesterday and WOW.... this stuff is amazing. I am getting very deep wrinkles around the eyes :( and I swear in one day they have softened dramatically. NOTHING has worked on me so quickly. And, I tried it on my lips and the difference is unbelievable. This is the best thing I have ever bought (and I have spent a small fortune on a multitude of products). I have never tried Boots but am very eager to try more from this line. Great price for an amazing product! I can't wait to see how this continues to work. The consistency is great and is very moisturizing for a serum. A MUST HAVE!

I recently spent about an hour in the Boots isle at Target, thanks to all the reviews on here I decided to try this gem. I have really oily skin except for the sensitive/ dry/ premature sun damage around my eyes. So far I've only used this like 3 times but I can DEF tell the difference... at first i tried it on my dry hands with the tester and it kind of reminded me of Sephoras immediate wrinkle filler but just less of a greasy feeling and more of a soft feeling. Last night was the first night I went to bed with it on and i woke up feeling like my eyes were being pulled like all tight and stuff so I think that means its working !! woo and not that many ugly pillow lines either. As for wearing it on my lips, maybe ill try it and update but it seems a lot of users get pimples after doing that. But amazing product overall i only gave it 4 lippies cause I haven't used it that much and i don't want to get ahead of myself but hopefully it doesn't let me down !!

So far so good with this product. In fact so good that I have started to use it all over my face! Even the backs of my hands have benefited from this great value serum. I am still reserving a little bit of judgment as I have only been using it for approx. 2 weeks but this coupled with my usual eye cream has really brought a soft focus look to my crows feet and I am another product junkie who is always trying to find the next HG for aging skin. I would buy this product again and am so glad I read the reviews here and decided to give it a try. By the way, I am withholding one lippy until I have tried it for a bit longer but I am sure it's going to be worth 5 in the end.

I bought this about a week ago after seeing reviews on this site. I must say I really love it. For some time I have been looking for a product that would help maintain moisture under my eyes. I have bluish circles, and a few lines (when I smile), but what really bothered me most is the crepiness that would result from this area drying out overnight or during the day - even with a pretty intense moisturizer. This product pretty much completely takes care of that issue. I use it both morning and night under my moisturizer - and my eyes still feel soft and moisturized hours later. There is just an overall improvement. The bluish tint seems less noticeable, as well, but that may be because the area just feels better overall.
I also use it on my lips and love it there as well - and actually any "creases" seem lessened. And they stay feeling moist - I have an issue with this and am usually uncomfortable w/o lipstick or balm, but not now.
The dispenser is terrific and it is easy to "regulate" how much product you dispense. Feels like a high end product w/o the price tag to go with it.
I will repurchase this as long as they make it!
EDIT: Alas, after a while it seemed to cause my undereye area to appear more dry - this is a problem I seem to have with many eye products. Wish I knew why things that seem so great for others, just won't work for me. I end up just using a regular heavy moisturzer and not worrying about specialized eye products. Getting gun shy after so many of them failing me...

I have spend tons of money on expensive eye, face, anti-aging creams. Non of them worked, one cleanser made my problem worse. So when I bought the Botanics products, I was a little skeptical. Boy have I been surprised. I Love all of them, but especially the lip and eye serum. I have used it on both my eyes and lips for about three weeks now, and have noticed a difference. The area under my eyes is much smoother, lines are less noticeable, and looks much brighter. My lipstick stays on better and my lips are already smoother.. and I am 50!
I Love these products. I am also using the skin brightening facial cleanser and a toner and my skin looks smoother, pores are smaller, and some little bumps that I have had for years are finally going away.
As close to miracle products as I have found.
I will definitely buy again.

I've only been using this for a couple of weeks, but I like this so far. I have very sensitive skin - even some Clinque products burn under my eyes, but this feels smooth and comfy. It's thick, but sinks in quickly and works well w/ TM and concealer over top. Nothing can give you your 20-something skin back, but this plumps the skin, moisturizes, and keeps the skin looking smoother all day. What I really love is the price! Having spent rediculous heaps of cash on high-end coz, I love that I can get this for under $13. Will buy again.
*UPDATE* I've now been using for several months, and I'm still really loving this eye cream. I've tried several other high-end brands on sample, but always come back to this because this works every bit as well, is organic, and costs a fraction of the price. Highly recommend.

I guess I'm in the minority but this products burns the sking under my eyes when I put it on after I wash my face. I wash with Cetaphil so I know its not my cleanser. I've tried this and another Boots eye cream, and they both sting horribly.

Have been using this for about a month and really like it! Have got big issues about my eye contour area (Dark circles, prone to puffiness and crepey) and need a good concealer to be presentable so an eye cream has certainly got its work cut out and over the years have tried many different ones both high end and D/S with not really much satisfaction.
This product I initially used at night and found the pump dispenser accurate and hygenic and the skin felt silky after application.
Woke in the morning to find the skin felt nourished but not puffy which was a good start!
Got braver and started to use it in the morning as well but allowed it a good 15 mins to soak in before applying make up and concealer.
I find it a good base for make up and the skin around the eye contour does feel a little firmer and in better condition.
havent tried it around the lip area (Keep forgetting) but will give this a try.
not bad price for a lot of product as you use so little and often the botanics products are on some sort of offer but at the moment will def repurchase *Cheers at Boots!!*

So far so good! I have this product a little less than a week and I love it! I was looking for something really light but moisturizing! My eyes were looking tired and darky and puffy for about the last couple of weeks or so. I found the reviews on here and based on what others had said I thought I would try it. the darkness has lightened considerably they are way less puffy, and my makeup still goes on easily with it. I was worried because a lot of eye creams make my makeup slide around! I put this on right when I get out of the shower (over or under my moisturizer) and by the time I go to put my makeup on its all soaked in nicely! I barely use half a pump so I know its going to last awhile as well!!
Yay!! Good find ;)

Firstly, I have not tried this on my lips so can't comment on that aspect of this product. I bought it for eye area as I wanted something quite light but moisturising and this is perfect. Have been using for about 3 weeks and I have noticed a visible difference in the skin around my eyes in terms of fine lines and dryness. I can't believe how effective this is considering the price. And the pump bottle is very convenient and easy to use as well.
