I'm surprised at the lower ratings on Creative's Limelight. I adore this polish!! On it's own ... Limelight is fairly pointless and sheer. Where this polish shines is as a layering shade over deeper polishes. This is a rainbow in a bottle, but with a stronger green flash with bits of gold. This looks stunning over plums/purples, just about any darker color. The only drawback that leaps to mind on this polish is that CND tends to have a longer dry time .. but that's an easy fix with my OPI Drip Dry and SV top coat. Huge raves from me on this shade!

CND, why on God's green earth did you overhaul your line? Your stuff was amazing. Depth of color, unique finishes, you name it. The new stuff sucks. Really, I'm not a fan. Anyway, Limelight. I adore this color. I don't recommend it for something to stand alone, but over a pink, indigo or black polish, this is really something special. I love flaky glitter polishes, but they're hard to find. This has various-sized flakes and tiny flecks of green and blue shimmer. The best part about it is that it dries smooth as glass, no rough bits. I hear it's black light reactive, too. I can't stop staring at my nails when I use this. As with all old CND polishes, the dry time is pretty slow, but I find the end result is worth it both in the look and the superior weartime. Why, CND, did you try to fix something that wasn't broke?

This is a nice blue/green/gold iridescent glitter topcoat. The glitter is made of larger foil squares. It looks nice over black, purple, and blue, and really does catch the light. I won't use it very often, but it is a cool effect.

This is not nearly as spectacular as I imagined (I bought it online). It's a lemon-tinted clear top coat with luminous green glitter. Looks cool in the bottle but doesn't really show up on the nail.

So far I haven’t worn this color by itself so I can’t comment on how it looks alone, but when worn over a dark color (I used Creative NFS) it really pops. It’s kind of a hard color to describe. I’d say it’s clear like regular old topcoat but it has a slight yellow tint to it. And when I say yellow, it’s very slight. It’s more that it’s clear but the light reflecting off the flecks in the bottle makes it appear yellow, if that makes sense. It doesn’t change the color of my polish but it adds a very cool duochrome-type layer. Depending on the way the light hits it I see green, blue and yellow coming through. This is a very cool effect and I highly recommend it over dark polishes. I did notice it’s a pretty runny formula, so I had to give it a few minutes to set before applying SV but once it dried I loved it even more. The glitter flecks aren't thick at all so one layer of topcoat is plenty. Smooth as glass.
