I bought this lipstick because I was ordering other products from NYX and I thought I'd try it out since I am paying the postal charges anyways. I had read before that it is a dupe for Chanel Mademoiselle. I decided to get it since Mademoiselle is my favorite lipstick and I thought I could always keep Tea Rose a backup in my handbag.

If you are looking for a Mademoiselle dupe then I have to disappoint you, this isn't it. It is a lot lighter and more on the pink side while mademoiselle is rather 'plumy'. Also it is not as matte as Mademoiselle. Nevertheless I love it! It is a great colour to keep in your handbag in case you find face needing a little pick-me-up. It is not too bright but light enough to be worn with a natural looking makeup and it also matches a more intense evening look where it gives your face a bit of colour without distracting.

Overall I would repurchase this product as it has come to replace Mademoiselle!

This product is quite pigmented and its a good thing about it. I looked really nice when I swatched it but when I tried it on it looked ashy on me. This color didn't suit me. I have asian skin with yellow understone, and my lips have brown undertone. It just looks horrible on me. Maybe just not the color for me. However its a pretty pink color though.

such a pretty colour on my lips. you could say this is somewhat darker than mac fanfare. the texture is creamy and moist but yet great colour payoff

anyway I've always been meaning to try one of these round lipsticks from NYX and it was so hard to choose since there's such a vast selection.I already enough lipstick in my makeup collection and didn't want to go overboard so I only wanted to get 1 or 2.


For some reason when I would look up swatches online for tea rose, it always appeared differently on every swatch - hardly any consistency. The reviews were still stellar though so I didn't feel like I'd lose out on much if the color wasn't as expected.


You guys weren't kidding, the texture on this lipstick is insane for the price range. Soft, pigmented and didn't dry out my puckers. On my lips, this shade was a MLBB kinda guy. LOVE THE COLOR! I have naturally rosy lips and this lipstick amped them up to look like a million dollars with a little hint of pink :D My lancome and estee lauder lipsticks are totes jelly of NYX.


Is there a scent? I just practically stuck this up my nose and there's a faint plastic scent. I didn't smell anything when I had it on my lips so the smell doesn't transfer or linger.


Now here is the one reason why I'm giving this amazing product 4 stars instead of 5. IT TASTES LIKE SOAP. You know when you accidentally get body soap in your mouth and it's kinda bitter and offsetting? Yep. That's the taste. To make the lipstick bearable, you gotta do the whole stick-one-finger-in-your-mouth-then-remove to prevent lipstick getting on your teeth so it won't get on your tongue.


That's my only complaint. Amazing price, color, nice packaging but the taste is what might throw you off.

For some odd reason I thought that this would be a light pink nude, but it ended up being a mid-tone pink, almost mauve. Too bad Cherryculture.com is very inaccurate and they have a bad return policy.I will not repurchase.

This is a nice natural looking pink. I got with Thalia by NYX. I've only tried a few NYX products, but I like them. They make fairly decent drugstore products.

I'm a big fan of lipsticks. I hate the stickiness of lipglosses. I used to wear lots of bright pink lipsticks, but my hair used to be platinum blonde and that worked with that look. My hair is now its natural color, so I've just gravitated to a more natural look. Thus this purchase.

I'm pretty pleased with the color. It is a nice color, very natural looking. The smell of this lipstick isn't obnoxious, which I like. I don't mind fragrance, but I hate hate hate overly smelly lipstick, especially fruity scents. Make me feel like I should be 12 years old and wear glitter. I HATE food scented things.....lol

The staying power of this isn't great, so you will have to carry it with you. I don't mind reapplying lipstick, but others may.

As far as color goes this really isn't anything special, but that's sort of what I was looking for. I think this will flatter many different skintones and will give you a nice natural, chic look. Something about lipstick is so womanly don't you think :)

I'm an NC25 and this color looks gorgeous on me, it's a pretty pastel shade of pink and it gives a sweet look. The only gripe i have with the product is that the smell is rather soapy and it bleeds thus it's not very long lasting but for a SGD5.50, i'll live with it since i really like the color. I'll be trying out other colors from NYX round lipstick collection, this being my first.

I bought this lipstick and am totally in love with it. I am NC42 in MAC Satin Finish. My lips are dark and I was searchingf or a perfect pink lipstick for long time. I bought this after reading the reviews and its worth it. I ordering two more for backup.

A flattering medium pinky-rose to all skin tones. I found many swatches of this online and bought it via ebay. Good price for its smooth creamy formula. The smell is off-putting though (soapy-plastic smell). Go get this colour if you plan to order from nyx or want a starter pink colour.

Love this lipstick. It's my go to everyday lip colour but it's also perfect for evening looks! I was never a lipstick person before I tried the NYX round lipsticks and was looking for a natural-your-lipcolour-but-better lippie and was recommended Dolce Vita by NARS. Searched around the net and found out that this was meant to be a dupe.Tried it and loved it.

The colour is a lovely, creamy muted rose-pink. It's a very high quality lipstick, creamy and without that gross synthetic lipstick smell. Lasts for most of the day but fades a teeny bit (nothing that a touchup won't fix). Some lipsticks make your teeth colour look a bit off but this is fine, doesn't do any of that.

Highly recommend it for all skin tones and for anyone searching for a pretty and girly lippie for everyday wear.
