I too have heard this is either discontinued or being dis.
I love it and use through the winter months not during summer months.
I'm still getting mine from TheGirlyShop.Co.Uk
I have used this for a couple of years, and do 3 treatments through Oct, then just before Christmas for a boost.
It definitely rejuvenates the complexion and gives it a plumper look. I'm in my 50's, was a smoker for many years and I know my skin looks better than 10 years ago.
I am going to continue with this, it's not too harsh and does the job and cheap cheap cheap!

I purchased 2 of these on sale & so far have only used my first kit.
Results; No apparent improvement until the 3rd application when I noticed the tiniest improvement in my skin, The moisturizer didn't agree with my skin and gave me spots also.
I've since bought a clarisonic and actually think that gave a better result after 2 uses than the whole month of use with this kit. This is far to weak to make any significant difference in ones appearance so gets a big thumbs down from me.

I bought this on liquidation sale for 13$ a couple weeks ago and so far I have used it three times. I have definitely noticed improvements in my skin (i.e: smoothness, softness and overall radiance). For people with very sensitive skin, this might be too much for you, but since i had already been using glycolic acid in my regimen, this treatment only helped move things along. Actually, I felt no stinging, no warmth, no nothing while it was working. Just great skin afterwards. I think it might be discontinued though...hence the liquidation price.

Used this a year or two ago, and it appears to have been discontinued, but I figured I'd go ahead and review it.
It'll depend on your skin-type and what your skin is used to, but with skin adjusted to a retinol serum 4-6 nights a week, I found this to be a mild at-home peel that gave some noticeable results. With the exception of a slight tingle the first time, I had no discomfort or bad reactions even though I usually kept the peel on for at least 15 minutes, sometimes as long as half an hour, twice a week (I did get some flaking when I left it on for half an hour, but it only lasted a few days). This is not an aggressive or "dramatic results" type product and I don't think it did anything for wrinkles, but after using it my skin was always smoother and my pores less noticeable. There have been times that I've rinsed it off and also felt like my skin was actually lighter and brighter, almost glowy. A nice general maintenance and preventative product.

I brought this product 1 month ago at the Army base in Atlanta, Georgia. I decided to buy it because I never had a peel before and going to a dermatologist will cost too much money. When I finish the process, I use bare minerals for the final changes and everything looks great. I am in my 50's and I look like I am in my late 30's. At least that is what people tell me.
I told a co-worker about this product because he started using a product that is by a well-known celebrity. I pushed this product because I knew he would like this one as well. He ended up telling everyone else in the office and now eight people are ordering. I gave my husband a treatment and he looked younger. My only disappointment was I could not find it locally.

Have had this a while, finally decided to give it a try. Now I have very resistant skin, but this stuff is really a joke. I even applied, waited 5 minutes, applied more, waited 5 more minutes and applied ANOTHER layer. I waited and waited and waited (over an hour).....nothing. Finally neutralized and finished. Far too weak to have any definitive result. Would never repurchase.....moving on to professional strength peels!

Had this in the back of my bathroom cabinet for a long time. I like to try lots of different products for my acne/red spot prone skin and had not used this for months. Glad I revisited this one. This is a very nice gentle product that gave me immediate fading of spots and glowing soft skin. Love it will remember to use it again.

I got this on clearance at Kmart for $2.50... I'm glad I did not pay full price b/c every step burned and irritated me- but the 3rd step (moisturizing) burned the most (??). I'm left confused on how this 10% peel hurts more than the regular 15% Alpha Hydroxy cream I regularly use. I now use this peel on my guy's face as a method of torture (hehehe)

I bought this thinking in help my skin on overall condition (acne marks, pigmentation, rough skin, photodamage, etc) but this did not too much. I think the level of GA is too poor to do something noticeable on skin. After using this, my skin was a little bit softer, but thatīs all, and i can achieve the same results using a 2 dollar scrub. Not repurchase.

Worked great for me. Doesn't irritate the skin at all. Makes my skin noticeably clearer & smoother & gets rid of the uneven coloring.
However, it takes a couple of uses to see results. I guess the turtle wins over the hare when it comes to peels. continued >>

I found this kit on sale for only 5 so I hade to try it. The kit contains 3 bottles, the glycolic peel, the neutralizer and a moisturiser. After reading many skincare books, I know that BHA is better than AHA for my oily skintype, but AHA is still a good choice. After using this my pores was smaller and my face had a nice glow. Nothing amazing, I get the same result from my mask and scrub from Clinique. I have to be honest I donīt know if it works, because the pH maybe too high and it is not "strong enought" . I have tried Ole henriksens glycolic peel and that stung like crazy, so I know how it feels if it really works. My clinique CL mild gives almoust the same results (BHA with right pH). I think that it was the alcohol ( contains more alcohol than glycolic acid) that made my pores seem smaller... And for the anti ageing moisteriser, that is soooo basic! Mostly mineral oil and silicone... I use it as a handlotion and for that it is good!

This is a nice enough at home treatment. But it's only 10%. Don't expect va va voom. Va, maybe. I did a regular cleanse, pat dry, and applied the glycolic peel kit. Don't even bother with the pads, you can pour it in your hand. I know, I know it's not as sanitary as you'd like, but you really should have clean hands after washing your face, right? Right! I didn't see dramatic results. I did notice my skin was smoother and softer. Mind you, I already sleep with almond oil and a AHA cream nightly. and I've used sal acid, tazorac, BHAs, you name it. I decided I needed to give my skin a boost. So I cleansed as normal after drying I applied lemon juice to a paper towel and gently scrubbed my face for a few minutes. This warms up the skin and allows for better penetration of product. I have some acne scars on the cheek area, but otherwise pretty good skin. I let the product sit for about forty-five mins. I felt a bit of tingling this time (thank God). I applied the neutralizer and rinsed OFF. I don't like the moisturizer b/c it's grainey and ineffective and too oily. I have enough oil, thank you. I applied my AHA cream and almond oil. The next day...va va voom. And those acne scars are on their way OUT. Thanks, L'oreal. p.s. I use the treatment thrice a week and the other days I use their microderm kit.

This product is great for at-home, regular treatments. Its actually 10% glycolic acid, not 4% as someone below suggested. I have notice a marked difference in my skin from using this and I am used to spending $600 a pop in my derm dr's office every couple of months!

HG! I love this on my sensitive, oily skin. I've used this before, during and after Accutane - it's the only thing that really gives me a glow, lightened my acne scars, and loosened up my blackheads for extraction. I tried going to other exfoliation like scrubs but they didn't work nearly as well, anything stronger burns my skin and makes me red and peely. I do use my fingers and make an ampule last for two or three applications and leave the acid on for only five minutes, then rub all over with the neutralizer, and wash the rest off before doing extractions. After this stuff blackheads come out so easily, and my pores are invisible! It tingles a bit but is not unpleasant. Instead of the moisturizer I just use a bit of chamomile tea and glycerin, and my skin is perfect and glowy in the morning.
LOVE!

I am still a huge fan of glycolic acid treatments, but I would not purchase this particular product again.
I LOVED the results from my glycolic peel facials at Skincarelab in NY (Soho) -- my skin was smoother, clearer, softer and more vibrant immediately after each treatment, and I found that the peels even reduced/eliminated acne and blackheads. However - spending $150 every 3 weeks was adding up. I tried the ReNoviste product, hoping to find an alternative to my pricey facials, or at least maintain the results from my professional glycolic peels longer & allow me to reduce my visits to facialist. But I was disappointed to find that the ReNoviste product was very ineffective -- I even tried leaving the peel on for up to 20 minutes and used it daily. If there were any results, it was not noticeable at all. For now, I'm sticking with my professional peels and M.D. Forte products with 15% glycolic acid (Glycare Cleansing gel + Facial Lotion I) until I can find a better alternative.
This might be appropriate for someone who has very sensitive skin but wants to try a gentle glycolic acid product, but it just wasn't for me. continued >>

I am 32 and starting to see wrinkles around my eyes, as well as some areas of my skin that just look less smooth. I'm not ready to start paying hundreds of dollars to have peels done (though considering it)so I thought I would try one of do it yourself style products first. I picked up Renoviste at CVS and tried it that night according to the directions. I felt and saw nothing. I continued over the next few days and never did see any change. Then I decided to put on several layers leave it on overnight. Finally success! There was very mild tingling, and the next day my skin felt smoother and more even. Still it is not meant to be used this way so I am not planning on using this product again. Plus I get better results from exfoliating with St. Ives Apricot Scrub for a fraction of the price.

I found this product to be very nice. My skin is much smoother after just 2 uses. I had no adverse skin reaction to it. I have had several compliments on the look and texture of my skin and I will continue to use this product. I have early 40's skin and I have normal skin. I do not have any problem skin conditions so I am not sure what someone who had acne or other issues would find with this product but I will recommend it to my friends. If I had any serious skin issues I would seek professional help but since I am not yet ready for that this product does the work at a fraction of what it would cost to see a doctor.

I bought one kit to try it and just used the last vial..I expected to feel some tingling or something to let me know the product was working, but have felt nothing..
4% is just not enough AHA to make a difference. It needs to be at least 8% and up..I get better results using a cheaper product wit more AHA...I do not recommend spending $$$$ for this

During monthly facials at Aveda my facialist routinely oohs and ahhs over the "soft" quality of my skin. When I told her I give myself one at-home L'Oreal glycolic and one L'Oreal Microderm "session" each week, she simply said "that's obvious. Your skin is really well-exfoliated." I'm 36, btw.
I don't use all of the glycolic potion each time, either. I just squeeze an ample amount on to a cotton pad and sweep my face and neck liberally. I usually DO leave it on for 5 min and then follow-through with the other 3 steps.
My makeup-artist friend who works for NARS says that L'Oreal is the best drugstore brand. I beleive her.

I am using this as I type. It does a fine job of exfoliating my skin-saving me from the dreaded flakes. It also reduces my black-heads (which never seem to go away). As others have stated, the little cotton pads do soak up a lot of product (a smart manufacturing move), but I still use them to avoid spreading bacteria from my hands onto my face. This is an occasionally treat, as it is quite expensive-but well worth the effort and money when I do. I do skip the last step, though-as the lotion does clog my pores.
