This stuff wreaks havoc on my eyes. It's 5% hydroxy acid and way too harsh for me making my eye area an irritated, red, flaky mess.
So I discovered a new use -- with the exfoliants and hyuralonic acid, it makes a great nighttime treatment for my face. Since using it the bumps along my jawline have almost disappeared.
I wasn't sure how to rate this so I gave it 3 lippies -- stay away if you can't tolerate harsh eye treatments but it's great for an exfoliating skin treatment that's also moisturizing!

This product is a close HG for me so far. It makes my eye area feel soft, smooth and hydrated, without feeling tight. It also sinks into my skin really quickly, and leaves no shiny residue. I have only used it 3 times so far, but I like the results already. I wont give it five lippies because im waiting to see if it clears up the milia caused by my previous eye cream...if it does, this will be a keeper for me! fingers crossed!
UPDATE: after 3 days, my milia is gone. GONE!!! amazing. This just became a serious HG!

I like the packaging of this product. I'm turning 19 this year and trying out different eye care products. This doesn't feel very hydrating or moisturising but this gel together with sufficient sleep make my eyes look rested in the morning.

This eye gel ruined the skin under my eyes. My skin became EXTREMELY clogged after a few days of use - I had to do extractions, which was really difficult since the skin around the eye is so delicate. I think my skin has "issues" with Skinceuticals products - I also tried the Phloretin CF with very bad results (again, clogged skin).

Have you been looking for that holy grail Eye treatment that will make your lines fade and dark circles lighten up? THIS IS IT!
I have hereditary dark circles and bags under my eyes from so many sleepless nights at work and an irresponsible sleeping pattern along with my Greek genes, and this product is an absolute GODSEND. It has the consistency of a gel, with a little bit of a tingle due to the 5% hydroxy, which I don't even feel even though I have the most sensitive skin.
APPLICATION: This product applied before bedtime, is lightweight and works best when the eyes are shut. It makes my eyes look fresh in the morning and the circles look lighter and my fine lines look 100 times better! Nothing has completely disappeared yet, but with discipline, I'm sure this product will make mircales on my eyes. I also apply it after the shower, before concealer, but I wait for it to dry.
If I could bathe in Skinceuticals Eye Renewal gel, I would. It dries to a perfect, non-sticky finish. I love it, it's worth every penny, and I will buy it again as soon as this one is finished! I already purchased a few mini samples on ebay for my travel bag. Highly recommended and I rarely give 5 lippies to anything.
EDIT: After one month of use, this product is definitely here to stay. The skin around my eyes looks younger and fresher and my fine lines have clearly diminished. The most perfect eye product ever made.

I am using it for 2 weeks already. It really works but to have better result you must sleep enough because sleep loss makes the resuls of using this gel less.
My single eye wrinkle is less visible and day by day it gones away!
It's not sticky or oily, the consistence is almoust like water.
I would buy it again.
UPDATE
After using it more than 4 month I noticed that there are milias on my eyelids. This gel works fine on wrinkles but I stop using it now.

My husband came home with this for me about five weeks ago.
After the initial shock at his hefty hint and trying to see the glass half full - that he cares what i look like - I used it day and night.
I now have to admit that it didn't work.
I am 40 and I see that Chanel recommends it for 30 somethings so that could contribute to the results.

Bought this based on the MUA reviews. Have been using it for about 3 weeks now and I can really see the difference.
I developed some lines because of late night studying & this has really made a difference. The fine lines went away after less than a week and the deeper furrows are fading too. Think it'll take longer for them to go away though.
It has lightened up my hereditary dark eye circles and my under eye bags too. The difference is very noticeable.
The packaging is nice, love the fact that it comes with a dropper but I wish the bottle wasn't glass because I travel lots and am paranoid that it'll break.
It has a liquid-gel consistency which spreads around the eye area quite easily. Takes a while to absorb and is a little sticky while you're waiting for it to sink in. It's a NIGHT TIME treatment gel so don't use it in the daytime when you want to use concealer.
As others have commented, one drop is MORE enough for both eyes so this is a really good buy as 30 ml will last me for ages.
Got it off strawberrynet for AUD 28 but they are out of stock atm so you'll have to keep checking. I am planning to get a bottle for my mother when they restock. Some might find it a little pricey but I think its worth it for something that works and goes a really long way continued >>

*PIC of ingredients and eye area. I'm really impressed with this product. I ordered it from strawberrynet and it only 18.00 euros, so I thought being that cheap, will it be any good? But I love it. I think I have seen quite a difference and my eye area is looking much better too. I don't have crows feet but I do have fine lines, which if go unattended or don't receive a helping had can look pretty bad, seeing my skin is also very dry. Will definitely re-purchase. (I also dab abit of dermadoctor's wrinkle revenge balm over after an hour or so, I think I do that seeing since it doesn't work for me during the am I thought I might as well use it in the pm as I see no harm and I don't want it to go to waste seeing I was lemming it forever *cries* :) but, I would have no problem using only the skinceuticals at all.
**Please excuse the scary bare eye area, eeck! I know! I also took the pics smiling and I squinted a tiny bit cause the flash was pretty blinding lol** FYI. Me, 34 years old, dry skin.
UPDATE Sept.25th, 2008: I have tried Diacneal, Avene Eluage gel, Eluage cream and Differin and this is the only treatment so far that gives me excellent results, I love it and use it all over my face and eyes and I can see amazing results.
(I've also ordered their eye balm to give that a go in the am)

I love this product have been using this for little over a month and the results are fantastic, had been using the dermalogica eye cream for at least 5 months and never had any change or improvement with it, but as for the eye renewal i could see a change inside two weeks. My eyes are smooth and circles almost gone. I got the sample sizes on ebay which worked out a good deal and they come in handy bottles with a dropper so u dont use anymore then u need to.
I use it both night and day and i have found a handy little tip after you apply your makeup put one drop to each eye and gently pat it in and this stays for most of the day leaving your eye area well hydrated and smooths the fine lines.
This is def a top product which i will continue to use (At last my search is over ) in my fight against wrinkles.

I have used one form or another of skinceuticals for the past 15 years. I am recently been using the eye renewal gel and can certainly see the difference. My eye bags and dark circles are diminished. I do agree it is tacky at first...but after you apply a moisturizer you do not notice it. And yes while it is a pain to put on another product for moisture....beauty is not easy. You have to work at it to make it work.

I have hated most of the eye creams that I have tried whether they were greasy, caused milia or just plain useless. I have had dark circles and slight bags under my eyes since I was a child. Not expecting miracles minus a bloody eyejob, I have been using Skinceuticals Eye Renewal Gel for a little while and I really like the effects. I received a box of samples of this product, coming in small eye-dropper style glass bottles. This product leaves my eye area smooth and and soothed. I use it below(bad girl) and at the corners of my eyes being careful to avoid my actual eyes lol mainly at night and wake up with the area refreshed. My eyes look better and no milia. Dark circles look blurred. No greasy, oily feel. Slight tingling(5%Hydroxy) but it has not been a huge issue..kind of like the sensation after crying. I think this product works well for me and if I were to buy it at full price, I most likely would but these samples will last a while as you really only need a smidgen. Other eye creams or products that I have tried, pale in comparison to this.

Here again is another Skinceuticals product that I didn't really like. Even though it's a gel it still left the area around my eyes oily so my eye makeup wouldn't stay on.

I have been using this product for almost a month now and I love it! I have searched for products to help with my milia problem and this one, in under a month has just about wiped them out! One drop at night works for both eyes. In addition to that the few wrinkles I have don't look as prominent as before. I thought that they were looking deeper due to lack of sleep, but I am not getting anymore sleep than before using this product. I cannot praise it enough.

Absolutely worthless--have been using for a month and a half and have seen zero change in fine lines, wrinkles or dark circles. It is drying as well so you have to use an additional moisterizing cream. Definitely will not repurchase.

I use this along with the C+E Ferulic and several other Skinceutical products. My Mother has used Skinceuticals for years and everyone thinks she's my sister so I can attest to the positive results of their products. I use C+E Ferulic in the AM and the Eye Renewal Gel in the PM, I seriously think it's helping the very fine lines that I was beginning to get from my habitual squinting. I'm also incorporating Olay Regenerist into my line with very good results.

I have been using this about 4-6 times a week at night only. I alternate with using dermadoctor wrinkle revenge eye balm am and pm. i added in the eye reneal gel to gently exfoliate the eye area, to prevent and diminish crows feet. I only have fine lines around my eyes now but i think this eye gel will really put off wrinkles. the gel itself feels nice and light, not sticky, absorbs well so you can put on a moisturizing eye cream on top if you wanted. it's a really good size jar and i use so little at a time, i doubt i will need to repurchase for at least a year.

I'm using this in pm and their Eye Balm in am and between the two I see a real difference. Fewer lines, smaller circles under my eyes (I have a baby, nothing's going to make those go away completely I think), just a general brighter appearance. I have gotten the sample size off ebay, so I like that it's a small dropper you can get a small amount of.

This is a nice eye treatment. It contains 5% hydroxy acid blends to lightly exfoliate and renew the sensitive eye area. It has never irritated my skin, and it actually feels very refreshing and cool under the eyes. Its not heavy or oily so it shouldn't cause milia, if anything it should help existing milia. Definetly worth trying.

I love this product! I had thought about getting a blephoroplasty a few years ago and this product did what surgery would without the trauma & price. A great find for tired eyes and anytime-- even when your eye area is dry or inflamed it works like a charm. A must have on my list. continued >>
