I am looking for a good firming/anti-aging eye cream to minimize fine lines. Dark circles have never been a problem.
I have a disposition to getting milia around my eyes and, unfortunately, this cream gave me more milia.
I used it for two weeks and didn't notice any other changes.
Won't buy again.

Olay products have never worked for me. This transforming eye cream is one of them. I bought it in order to try reducing the dark circles but it hasn't done any effect on them. Also, I think the texture is thick which it is not easily spread on the skin. Totally waste of money...I won't but it again

After a bad MILIA experience with dior hydra pure youth activating sorbet,I was indeed skeptical of trying another eye cream.so I opted for this since I trust olay and it has never proved me wrong before.I virtually have the whole olay total effects 7 range expect for the serum.the bottle is cute and dinky and fits great in my makeup bag, steering away from its ultra cute bottle let's take a look at the contents which is most Important here.firstly it claims to reduce the appearance of crows feet.2nd hydrates dry skin. 3 rd improves skin surface. 4th smooths texture. 5th minimizes puffiness 6th brightens the eye contour thus banishing unsightly dark circles 7 gives you a healthy glow.sounds the perfect cream doesint it?! And at $15 a pop who could moan at that? But does it really live up to its promises? Well I havint had it long enough to see that but overall I like it no stinging which is great does refresh the eye contour however I wish it be a tad more hydrating:( but that's nothing my mac fix + can't fix= no dryness yah:) will update if I see a difference good or bad so far so good I like!UPDATE like this eye cream don't love it its gets rid of slight puffyness great which is very good! However it doesint do much for dark circles:( I like this product and will continue to use it up but I won't be buying it again as it doesint live up to all its claims so my search for my hg eye cream continues!

I started using the Olay 7 total effects facial moisturizer over a year ago and decided to try out the eye cream as well as I have never used anything on my eye area before. I am 26 years old and only have very slight fine lines around my eyes. I've been more concerned with combatting the dark circles and puffiness. I agree with other reviewers in that the packaging isn't the greatest. It would be much better and more sanitary if it came in a tube. However I've found a little bit of this product goes a long way and one little jar lasts quite a while. After many months of use I would say the only thing it has done for me is help reduce the dark circles around my eyes. I still see the fine lines and the puffiness hasn't diminished. I don't think I will repurchase as I'd like to give some other products a try.

I'm 28 and I've been noticing dark circles forming under my eyes for a little while now. Paired with the puffyness from poor sleep and the tiny crows feet appearing at the corners of my eyes, I figured it was time to move on to something a little more sophisticated than basic facewash and moisturizer. I purchased this product last night and used it just before going to bed and again this morning. Maybe it's just because I'm new to eye creams, but so far, I really like it. I felt it "woke up" my eyes, they didn't feel like they were closing in on themselves anymore. It's also really hydrating, a good base for my concealer. I have incredibly sensitive skin, but the sparkles haven't bothered me (possibly because I don't rub in it too close to my waterline?). Not only that, paired with my concealer, it actually brightens my eyes.
I've only owned this product for 24 hours, so I will update as time goes on, but my first impression was fairly good. The only thing I can see as a problem is the packaging...it's a little unsanitary having to dig your fingers into the jar, but I guess that's why we have Q-tips

I ran out of estee lauder eye serum during my vacation down south and bought this and at first I was satisfied In regards to moisturizing. I noticed it had shimmers once you apply which I do not like. I have to throw this away now because I notice the skin around my eyes look burnt and dry and when I apply my extra calming toner from clarins it greatly feels irritated:( now I don't know what to do with my damaged skin around the eyes. For right now I'm just going to let it heal and lightly pat some Vaseline to reduce the discomfort and burnt look.

This thin eye cream comes in a small (one-half ounce) jar. It's difficult to get the cream out of the jar. I didn't find it as effective in reducing and diminishing eye wrinkles as StriVectin eye cream, which is thicker and comes in a tube.

I really really do like this eye cream. I have tried out several over the years and I think this is the first one that I may actually repurchase. My only complaint is that I wished it came in a tube or pump. The small jar isn't very sanitary and is difficult to get the desired amount of product out unless you use a Q-tip. This is the only reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. But with that aside, I have to say it really does a fantastic job of moisturizing with out making the eye area feel sticky, oily, heavy etc. It is the perfect base before applying concealer under the eyes. The cream is a light flesh tone and has a very very slight shimmer which I could barely notice, but think that it does help in brightening the eye area and has helped a little with my minor dark circles. If you are looking for a miracle wrinkle eraser, this probably isn't the product for you. But, if you are looking for something to moisturize, help prevent wrinkles, and improve the overall condition of the delicate eye area it has done the job for me and has done it at an affordable price. I have had really dry skin lately for some reason and the only part of my face that is hydrated and healthy looking is my eye area and I have this product to thank for that. Now, I just have to figure out what will work for the rest of my face. UPDATE: 08/10/11: I am going to continue to use this during the day as a base before concealer but am going to use something else at night that is more moisturizing and may have more ant-aging, and dark circle benefits.

Olay Total Effects Eye Transforming Cream was my first anti-aging purchase. Given that Olay products have been a staple in women's medicine cabinets since it first hit America's shelves in the 1950s, and that, at $20, it was relatively affordable (most eye creams, I have found, are anywhere from $35-$200!), I decided to give this a try. After all, it contains ingredients like cucumber and aloe, vitamin b3, pro-vitamin b5, vitamin e, and green tea. It claims to do everything from reducing the appearance of dark circles to reduce the look of puffiness. I bought it specifically for its claims of minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. At nearly 25, my eyes have developed a few of these right under them. Unfortunately, I never got to see the results, because it completely irritated my eyes. My skin isn't normally super-sensitive, but this made my eyes sting and itch. My guess is it had something to do with the mica in it -- which reminds me, why in the world is there mica in an eye cream? Mica is the mineral you see in many make-up products that provides shimmer. I can usually tolerate mica as my skin is not super-sensitive, but had an incident a few years ago with some brand of mineral make-up containing mica that was none too pleasant. At any rate, there's no need for mica in this cream because only having sparkles under your eyes looks a little silly. Sure, it may brighten the skin, but only temporarily. I exchanged it for Garnier's Nututritioniste Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Eye Cream. I don't know that it will deliver, but it has not caused any stinging or itching like the Olay.

Note: I have dark under eye bags. I have tried a ton of beauty products and nothing has made a difference.
Sadly this one is included in the list of products I've used that have had no effect on my eyes what so ever. The pink color in this is nice but this barely moisturizes and doesn't do anything for the darkness beneath my eyes.

These eye cream is bad bad bad bad BAD!!! Do NOT buy it!! Seriously do not waste your money in this product!!
I bought this product a few days ago and the next day I literally ran back to the store and returned it. First of all it has small particles of glitter "are you kidding me"? glitter??? since when an eye cream has glitter? I am assuming that the glitter is there to irritate your eye and that way it will get a little swollen and it will seem like its working ,BUT IS NOT!! As soon I applied this creme under my eyes I started feeling weird like when you have sinus and everything around your eyes bothers you, well that was the sensation I had. The next day when I woke up the discomfort was more so I went to the mirror and guess what happened? MY EYES WERE SWOLLEN, IN PAIN AND BLUE!!....they were like that for 3 days.

This is another disappointment. It doesn't moisturize at all as it promises to. It doesn't do anything for the eyes in fact. zilch effect.

Well I just bought this last night and this review will still be updated. This is just an initial review.
The good:
- For the price, you get a lot of stuff
- Unscented
- Really hydrating
- Good for those with tired eyes
- Good base for undereye concealer
- Doesn't irritate
- Could be allowed to use in the upper lids
The bad:
- IT HAS SHIMMERS :| that won't go away.
- Slightly tinted.
Overall, this product is fairly good. Moisturizes my dry and tired eyes well. Good start for those who are in the process of preventing wrinkles and circles. As for the wrinkles and dark circles, I still couldn't commend in that since I've just used this for two days. The shimmers and tint doesn't really bother me. I sleep with this on my eyes as stated in the directions that it is for morning and night usage. Will definitely buy again because of its good hydrating properties and affordability compared to high end brands.

Nothing special. There are small little sparkles in this lotion that aren't noticeable on my eye but I see it on the fingers I use to apply it so I know they are there. Haven't noticed any differences in my eyes, it moisturizes well but nothing that regular face/body lotion couldn't do instead. I will be looking for another eye cream to try.

I don't love this product but I can't come up with any reasons to hate it. I keep wanting to believe that this is not moisturizing enough as I have tried numerous eye creams that aren't. But, actually, it is. It wears nicely under concealer/make up. As far as wrinkles and all of the other stuff eye creams claim to do this hasn't done much to "transform" the eye. Moisturizing is good enough for me as a preventative from wrinkles. This has some sort of concealer in it that brightens up your eyes temporariIy.

This eye cream was recommended to me by a friend and I have to say, I love it. It moisturizes my eyes better than anything else I've tried, never irritates them (and they are very sensitive) and has no scent. I'm on my third jar and can honestly say that my under eye circles are a little lighter and the fine lines around my eyes have diminished. Love love love this stuff and will definitely continue to repurchase.

I got this Eye Cream in a lucky dip so I cant say much about the price but I definitely wont be buying this for myself or anyone after I tried it out. I have sensitive eyes and this one really stings my eyes. I also have very very fine lines but they did nothing for me. I would stay far away from this. It also makes me feel a little funny about putting colour on my face to go to bed.

I finished my first jar of this product. Overall, I think this is just an average product. Nothing terribly wrong, nothing fantastic either. Like other reviewers have noted, it just masks the problems around your eyes without actually solving it. It felt great after I applied it to my eyes. My eyes looked bright and less wrinkles. However, I had an eye infection and stopped using the cream for couple days. When I looked at the mirror, the skin under my eyes looked terrible. I immediately realized that the cream has not solved any of my eye problems. So I will probably not purchase this again and I would like to try something else.
