Revlon lipsticks (and ankle boots...) are my downfalls in life. This lipstick is no exception - a creamy, non drying pigmented formulation that lasts all day on me even when I'm eating (use the blotting technique). In the bullet it looks like a bright yet medium-dark fuchsia that has a lot of finely milled shimmer. On my lips, it leans towards a pinkier tone and is surprisingly wearable for such a bright colour! I wear this on days I look a bit drab and it really alleviates the sallowness from my skin.

For reference, I have very yellow undertones and I'm fair-medium in colouring.

I bought this lipstick because I liked MAC Girl About Town, but I had been stupid and swapped it away. I have always liked Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks too. And when I saw Wild Orchid, I ordered it. Revlon is not anymore available in many EU countries and I dont really get WHY becuase they have so many star products that exceed the quality of anything LOreal and Rimmel makes, and they are NOT animal testing either. BOO for Revlon leaving us. Seriously, I do not know who to blame for that. I love Wild Orchid, it has the same ROCK GLAM attitude as MAC girl about town + MORE.It is a super bright deep fuchsia and it has sheen to it which is not so much that it looks cheap. I just find I love to put it on in days where I really want to kick some ass and need a confident boost. This is a color for all you AMAZONS out there. Also it does not dry out my lips like Bobbi Brown lipsticks and it is not greasy like LOreal and Dior and so many most others! I love it just as much as MAC lipsticks. I am wearing Bobbi Brown Porcelain foundation, honey blond hair, green/blue eyes.

This is not a show orchid dupe. It is darker and purpler. And creamier. Show orchid is brighter, lighter and pinker. They both have that duo chrome. By saying that Show Orchid is brighter, I don't mean to imply that it's bolder. I recommend them both.

I bought this during a BOGO half off promo at Walgreens and wanted to like it, but I think I would like the color better if it were a cream or matte lipstick instead of a pearl. On my warm, yellow-toned complexion, this has a tendency to be too 80's magenta/fuchsia and frosty. I feel like I should pair it with electric blue eyeshadow and wear my hair in a side scrunchy while wearing legwarmers. Anyways, the formula is really moisturizing, I just don't like this color because it's too loud and garish.

I bought this because I was looking for Fuschia Fusion, the MAC Girl About Town dupe. I bought both of them and I like Wild Orchid a lot more than Fuschia Fusion. Of course I tone it down with liner, but it's a really fun color. I would never buy this color from MAC because that's too much money for such a bright color and I got BOGO at Walgreens so you can't beat it!
UPDATE: I LOVE this lipstick! I think it's supposed to be a dupe of MAC Show Orchid, but I don't know. I usually buy the real thing from MAC if I like a color, but I love this lipstick. Revlon did a great job with this one.

I am NW10-15 for reference.

I LOVE bright lippies, but this did not work. I tried too, I wore it around the house to see if I could get used to it, but... it just didn't work on me : (

Will be adding it to my swap pile : )

Wild Orchid is a very close dupe to MAC's Show Orchid and I actually prefer this one because the color is a bit deeper violet and the formulation of Super Lustrous lipsticks are much longer lasting than MAC. This is a blue-toned violet purple shade that looks stunning for a bold and sassy lip that truly rocks. I think this color would look great on a variety of skin tones. Gorgeous! Revlon is a stellar drug store line, much better quality than MAC in my opinion and believe me, I've been a MAC l/s junkie for years.

I'm fairly new to lipsticks, always have been a just lip balm kinda girl. I mentioned that to note that I don't have much to compare this with. But based on several that I have tried, it lasts fairly long, stains the lips, doesn't dry up lips and glides on really well over lip balm. I wouldn't call it moisturising but it doesn't dry my lips like Rimmel does. Definitely apply this or any lipstick for that matter over lip balm!

I love the colour! It's a gorgeous deep berry colour on my pigmented lips, Nc25-Nc30 skin tone. I would think it would be more fuschia (pink) on lighter skin tones/less pigmented lips. It's a great colour for that extra pop without going over the top.

FYI Wet N Wild has a lipstick this same color for only $1 !!! Morepigmented than L'OREALs Sea Fleur Lipstick. There's also a bit more Blue to it, very pretty. Overall I would have to say that it's a great Lipstick! The Super Lustrous formula is a plus.

Considering that this is a high street (drugstore) lipstick, it's very impressive. Although I live in the UK where Revlon is one of the more expensive high street brands, I got this on offer for £5 which I think is a bargain considering how nice it is.

The cool, blue-toned purpely fushchia colour may be a little too bright for everyone's tastes, but I personally think it's gorgeous and love it. It's uncannily similar to both Show Orchid and Girl About Town by MAC but a fraction of the price.

The 'Super Lustrous' formula glides on smoothly and feels moisturising on the lips, whilst retaining an impressive level of pigmentation, and it's relatively long lasting.

I never want out with the intention of buying this but I saw in Superdrug and thought it was so pretty and couldn't resist. I can't think of anything bad about it.
