Wild orchid is a vibrant, creamy magenta with extremely fine blue microglitter. This does not make it glittery as such, but lends it a depth of colour that is almost duochrome. It's the sort of blueish pink that makes your teeth look white. It's a gorgeous, sexy attention getter.I love this lipstick. If I need to feel bold, if I want to cheer myself up, if I want to feel like a rockstar, I wear this. Despite it's rather loud, "look at me" qualities it is very wearable and can be easily worn sheered out to a stain. Speaking of which, it does stain the lips so it fades kindly. You will need to apply after eating or drinking but with a lipstick this gorgeous, that isn't a chore.Application is pleasant, and like most of the super lustrous line, it is creamy and has no taste or smell. Packaging is serviceable, though I do find that with all lipsticks in this line, the cap can lose that firm "snap" so be careful of older lipsticks in your jeans pocket or bag!I do find this colour slightly drying if worn daily, so I make sure I use a good balm at bedtime if I'm planning on wearing it a lot. I love this lipstick. Absolutely love it. It's always in my bag or jeans pocket, even when I'm wearing something different. I've read that it could be a dupe for a couple of MAC shades - I've never tried them, who cares when I can purchase this one, at a fraction of the price. I hope they never discontinue it. I have backups just in case.

Softsilver rose is pretty much is what it's name suggests - a fresh, pretty rosy pink, quite sheer, but with a strong pearl/frost finish which makes it almost metallic. After a long time out in the cold this type of finish seems to be getting a little more love, so this lipstick is an inexpensive way to try it out, paired with a pretty and innocuous lip shade. The colour shares a certain quality with my favorite MLBB shade Blushing Mauve - a slight colour shift which throws either a faintly warm or slightly cool cast depending on lighting conditions and complexion. It works best on me in winter when my skin is palest (cool with pink undertones, some sun damage) I think of it as quite a wintry shade as a result. The silvery pearl finish makes an otherwise innocuous colour into something a bit more interesting, but it isn't going to be to everyone's taste. At first I disliked it, but it does make my lips look fuller and I find I am giving it a chance more and more often. As with all the Revlon Super Lustrous line the packaging is serviceable and unfussy, though the firm "click" as you pop the lid back on feels less and less trustworthy as time goes on. Texture on the lips is such that you can tell that there are particles in there that give it that frosty finish, so it's not as creamy as other colours in the line and also slightly drying if worn for several days in a row. I wouldn't go as far as to call it gritty though. It isn't particularly buildable; what you see on the first swipe of the bullet is pretty much what you get. You'll have to reapply after eating and drinking, it doesn't have great longevity. And forget about applying it over balm - it will curdle. At the moment I'm enjoying the novelty of this colour as it is a shade and finish that I would never have picked out for myself (It came in a set of lipsticks) but I doubt I'd buy it again. The texture isn't as good as it could be, and as for the colour, I have my firm favorites and this isn't exciting enough to make the list.

I have combination skin - my T-Zone is very oily and the rest of my face is quite dry. The foundation goes on nicely on the dry areas of my face, but sometimes it will not stay on my nose and on the skin under my under eyes no matter how hard I try. I usually bring out the concealer in this instance and that does the trick but in terms of the "colourstay?" The colour won't even apply! Apart from this dilemma, it is very good. Would not purchase again because it doesn't cope with oily skin.

I am surprised this product doesn't have more reviews. I am on my second bottle of this, and I almost never repurchase hair or beauty products, am just really picky. So this is a very strange product. Is it a leave-in conditioner? A detangler? Something to defrizz? Heat protection? Add volume, reduce volume?? Use a little, or a lot? So hard to say. I think everyone who uses it probably has a different reason. My hair is thick and coarse. I use it to soften my hair, to smooth it and make my waves and curls more defined. Use quite a lot of the product after towel drying in order to get that smoothing, defrizzing look and then air dry. No matter how much I use, it NEVER feels like there is the slightest bit of product on my hair when it is dry.But if you use it as a detangler/softener, you can use just a few pumps and it does its magic. My hair is SO SOFT with this. If I am going to flatiron, I use just a few pumps and that is all that is needed. It is easy to layer with other products. So this is magic in a bottle. You should try it.

Love this tubing mascara. I have worn Estee Lauder Double Wear Mascara for about 8 years and have loved it (it's a tubing formula too) but was looking for something cheaper. This Revlon mascara hasn't budged, hasnt irritated my extremely sensitive eyes and has come off really easily with Paula's Choice makeup remover and pad. It provides a very natural look but I'm no makeup artist so others may know tricks to get more oomph out of it but I 'm happy with looking natural! Its an absolute bargain if you want a natural looking, non irritating, non budging mascara. Picked it up on special gor $10 AUD at Chemist Warehouse. Very happy!!

I really wanted to like this because it's different, but I wouldn't buy again. I could always feel it on my face, and it felt very heavy. It also settled into my fine lines.

I've had this polish for a while but "rediscovered" it recently and wore it for several weeks this past summer on my toes and got many compliments, so I decided to write a review for it. The color is lovely, a beautiful glowy deep orchid and the formula is pure perfection. Two coats cover just fine and clean up and removal is a breeze.Overall I was a tiny bit concerned when I purchased this because I was thinking I just KNOW this is a dupe for OPI's Suzi & the 7 Dusseldorfs which I love, but fortunately not quite, Hypnotic is brighter, a couple shades lighter and more bluish pink in tone. LOVE!!!!

Love this color! It can be shimmery blue, or a shimmery pinky-purple depending on the angle of light. Gorgeous. What makes it even better is applying a few coats of black polish. Then a topcoat. Then a thin coat of Sultry followed by another topcoat. Thick, gorgeous nails. **The pic I added is over 2 coats of Revlon Blackjack**

First off, these are very similar to the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor, with the same packaging, safe for a chrome-finished capper and some silvery lettering. The formula feels the same, with the non-sticky texture and that it doesn't set. It also smells and tastes the same -- a mildly sweet and somewhat sugary-fake fruity scent. It's not as strong as Maybelline's 2016/17 lipsticks, but there's definitely a flavor and scent here. The straight matte formula outperforms this by far. It's comfy and it's got great pigmentation and it lasts. I've tried several of those, from pinky-nudes to deep pink-reds, and they all perform really well. For this metallic offering I bought the blue color, Glitz, in large part because it was October and Halloween is coming up, and I had a couple coupons, so I got it for $5 instead of $10. For $5 it's not bad. For $10, it's disappointing, especially in comparison to its matte, non-metallic sibling. As for the color Glitz, in the tube it looks like a dark blue with a touch of charcoal and smokiness. On my lips it's kind of a reverse, showing up more like a charcoal gray with a blue shimmer, almost a pearly shimmer. It takes a few layers to get it to show up as dark as it is in the tube, but that way you get more coats and it can get messy. I don't think it looks truly metallic either, but more metallic-adjacent. I find applying and blotting two or three times gets a better result because it sort of stains the lips and you can build it up from there. Because it's a dark blue/gray color it will contrast with the pink of the inner lips and if you don't like that kind of look, be warned, or smile carefully for pix. (It's not bad, and it's not obvious unless you do an extreme pucker or an extreme smile, but some may not like it.) It seems to wear fairly evenly, though, and it wears down to a stain where my lips look more grayed with a blue shimmer. In an odd way I kind of like it. If you're wearing it out and sip from a beverage carefully you'll likely get decent staying power, but I'd keep it on hand for touchups. For me, it's fine for $5, and fun for October happenings, and maybe to blend a bit in with another color for the smoky or shimmery effect, but it's not in the same league as the original HD matte.

I love the 'skinny' part of this product because I can get a fine line close to lashes. However, I've found that it melts away very quickly. It smears, melts, and migrates as I go about my day. I have repurchased it a second time after some time but still experience the same issue. I live hours away from the closest Sephora or Ulta but once I get there, this is gone for good

I'm not sure what took me so long to write a review of this.....LOVE it!!!! Passionate is a deep raspberry colored jelly polish with a formula that is perfection! I'm wondering if they changed the formula on this color because I see pics coming up in a Google search that show this color in the past looking more like a creme. But the one I have, Passionate #274 is definitely a jelly polish. It can be a bit patchy on the first coat, but let it dry a bit and a second coat will even all patchiness right out. Bonus points if you put ILNP's The Alchemist on top... looks like ruby colored glowing nail polish goodness! LOL!Overall, I'd say this is a fabulous color, snatch it right up if you can find it! LOVE!!!!

I TOTALLY understand the bad reviews. This formula is awful, thick, gloopy and difficult to work with. It took me starting my nails twice, removing it twice and going in for a third try. BUT - If your expectations fit, and you have a little patience learning to apply it, it might be worth your time. It's not a professional gel salon manicure in a bottle. But it is a thick, long wearing polish that for me lasted a few days longer than my typical manicures with OPI, Orly, Essie, etc. As long as I painted the free edge, I got 4-5 days without chips, normally I'd be lucky to get 2. I bought this in Blackjack and got the diamond topcoat to go along with it. It dries to a plump, opaque, professional finish that looks really good. I actually found the drying time to be quite normal, faster than ORLY by far. I use 2-3 coats of polish, letting dry between each, and one thick coat of the diamond topcoat. It stayed glossy basically the entire time. **I added a pic (my hand wearing a black shirt) of Blackjack with a thin coat of Revlon Sultry over it. The another pic of just the Blackjack and Diamond topcoat on day 3 after manicure**Blackjack is a beautiful, glossy black with the slightest hint of blue shimmer, like a galaxy. Love it so much. If you've already bought this - don't give up 😂

Pass. This top coat takes FOREVER to dry. It doesn't claim to be a quick-dry top coat, but this is ridiculous. And the scent is a little weird and unpleasant too.The end results are nice and shiny and glossy, but that's pretty standard. It just takes way too freaking long to dry!And I don't love the bottle either. It's made of opaque black glass, and you can't see how much product is left.Just not a winner overall. I wouldn't buy it again.

From the looks of the other reviews of this mascara, it's either love it or hate it.Put me in the Love It club. I've bought at least 5 tubes of this mascara over the past 2 years. Here's what I really like about Revlon Dramatic Definition (purple top):It applies smoothly and evenly. It lasts 6-8 hours.Minimal flaking. It does not look crusty on my eye lashes. At age 69, crusty, thick mascara is not flattering. I like that I can pull the wand out of the tube and apply the mascara perfectly -- without having to wipe excess product off the brush.Another thing I like is the price. I've bought this mascara at Ulta for $8.95. Twice I've bought it at Walmart for $3.I've tried other formulas in this same product line, the red, green and blue tops. There is some difference in the formulas and the brushes differ too. The Purple top formula is my favorite.

Revlon polishes are growing on me, other brands get all the hype and blog posts, but Revlon are a steady performer putting out a lot of great polishes at affordable prices. This is a great bright blue cream, i love the colour, its bright, its cheery, its fun, its a summer weekend on your nails. The formula was great, it was two thin coats to opaque for me, but it wasn't streaky on the first coat, and its glossy. The brush is nice and short and wide, making it very easy to apply and get a lovely finish. If you see this around, or any other polishes from this line around, pick them up, they are great.
