After all these years, I "lucked" onto what seems to be an authentic compact of Discrete, and better still, I HAVE FOUND A DUPE!The dupe is Coastal Scents' "Sand Dune:"https://www.coastalscents.com/products/hot-pot-sand-dune Both Discrete and Sand Dune are a light greyish "pearl" color; a beautiful and unique cool neutral.I can scarcely tell them apart when they're swatched.Sand Dune is actually smoother and better pigmented than Discrete, and may have a tiiiiiny bit more shimmer, but as far as color goes, they're practically identical.Since my Discrete is used, I don't know if I'll have the nerve to actually apply it to my lids, but it's a lovely color that I'm very gratified to finally own. Some people have likened Discrete to MAC "Shroom," but I can't agree; Shroom is lighter and much warmer. I indicated that I would repurchase Discrete, but since it's long since discontinued, I probably *couldn't* find it again. However, I like the color enough to gladly repurchase its dupe when the time comes.

$19 feels ridiculous for mascara - but I’m telling you, this is fantastic! One coat is natural, two enhances and three competes with the super lash mascaras on the market.Only this does.not.budge. Until you take it off. Which is easy with a wipe. The brush is small - which works perfectly for my gray short lashes. No goop upon application. No flakes or smudges under the eyes.Great for mature ladies with hooded eyes!!!

The foundation feels very balmy and rich, which should suit the skin on a dry side best. I have combination skin prone to oiliness in the T-zone, and yet I absolutely love the product. It provides a very glowy natural looking finish. The application is quite easy if you use the sponge that comes with the product; worked better than beauty blender or brushes I've tried. I do need to set the foundation well, and I'd still occasionally end up being shiny on the cheeks and forehead, yet I still like the overall effect. The foundation has SPF15 which is quite good too.If you are on a look out for something more mattifying or with good coverage, skip this one.

This lipstick came in the MAC Nude Lip Trio. Being the nude lip fanatic I am, I was excited to try this out. Unfortunately, it is a soft, rosy plum with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. I would not describe this as a nude and I feel like the metallicness of it can be unflattering on most people. I will not purchase.

Ruby Woo definitely the best red lipstick ever!! I have tried other reds from MAC - Relentlessly Red, Lady Danger and Flat Out Fabulous, I still think Ruby Woo is the best! Comparing to other MAC matte lipstick, Ruby Woo is a bit dry. But it is not that flaky on the lips or give me streaks. It still apply on my lips nicely and stayed on quite long throughout the day. probably need a bit touch up here and there but it is alright. I am leaning more towards liquid lipstick now, but any shades that i see in red liquid form i can't help but to compare it with Ruby Woo. I stopped buying any red lipstick at the moment but in the future if i am not satisfied with any other red lipstick i would probably go back to buying this color. If there is ever a TOP 5 MAC makeup product must have, this should be in it!

I started using this with my Kat Von D foundation after I ran out of translucent powder and it was awful. It just added weight to my face and after a couple hours with my makeup on it just started to look super cakey.
Anyway, one day I was in a hurry and didn’t want to use foundation so I just use the powder by itself and OMG it’s amazing. It actually has nice coverage which is why I think it looks horrible with a full coverage foundation so overall I think is a good product, you just have to know what products work along this one.

This is the worst mascara I’ve ever used. The formula is so wet and runny. When I apply it, it runs into my eyes and starts stinging. So painful. Once my eyes water, the mascara starts running and I start to look like a raccoon. The brush and formula is nothing impressive - nothing that hasn’t been done before. The length and volume is average - nothing fancy. For the pain, price and results, I’ll have to pass. Not worth it.

This used to be my favourite concealer (until tarte shape tape beat it). I still love it, i use it quite often still on days when I just don't feel like wearing the heaviness of the tarte concealer. You get a lot of product for the price, and a little bit goes a super long way. Just wish the pump didnt squirt out so much product!

I love this! My best friend gifted this to me and even though it's a skinfinish powder, Sun Power makes a terrific "sun-kissed" blush.MAC products are pigmented and this is no exception. The shade reads as a natural, bronze-y red-orange with a finish inbetween matte and satin. What I like to do is swirl my blush in the pan and then swirl the excess onto my arm before applying it to my face. Even though I use this as a blush, the powder is lightweight and finely milled, avoiding cakeface and has a second-skin finish. Really natural, and inimitable with other products.

This is my favorite bb cream. It actually gives a decent light coverage, it won't cover up like a foundation but will even out your skin tone. This formula is similar to studio sculpt foundation but not as thick and is easier to blend. I use either my hands or as buffing brush to apply it. If you lightly set with powder it will last all day. I haven't tried many Korean BB creams but don't feel the need to when i have MAC BB cream. I have to buy 2 shades medium and medium plus because I'm in between shades. Same with MAC powders too I have to get 2 shades. I'm about NC 25-30 in MAC foundations. Studio fix fluid I'm NC25 mixed with NC30. Studio sculpt NC30. Pro Longwear waterproof nourishing NC37. Note the Bobbi Brown BB cream is same as MAC just at higher price. I wear shade natural in Bobbi Brown BB cream so I don't have to mix.

I like this concealer for covering blemishes but not my under eye area or any larger expanse of areas on my face.It dries quickly and sets very well, especially with a dusting of setting powder once it has dried. It can be layered as long as each layer dries before you apply the next. The reason I don’t like it for larger areas, such as my nose or chin which often are very red, is that it looks very flat and chalky to me. Also, because of the fuller coverage and quick drying time, I find it hard to blend it away into my skin. Perhaps I could get away with it if I wore heavier foundation but I like very light coverage and to have the option to go bare faced with only concealer. So unless you wear it with fuller coverage foundation, you may have similar issues to mine.To its credit, it doesn’t budge during application of a liquid or powder foundation over it; you can go at it with a brush and it stays put- ideal for people who prefer to apply their concealer before their foundation. The reason I don’t like it for under eye area is that on me at least, it dries to that flat, chalky finish mentioned above. While it covers my circles very well, it also makes me look tired and lifeless. As if that weren’t enough, after a couple of hours or less, it begins to settle in lines I didn’t even know I had and begins to separate, looking like I have dry skin under my eyes. The packaging is very nice looking but I agree that the pump dispensing too much is a pain. I don’t even care about the amount of $ wasted as much as this annoying blob of extra product I have to wash or wipe off my hands every time I do my makeup. It really bugs me every morning because it is an extra trip to the sink, or an extra step of wiping with micellar water when I am already late!Someone below suggested pressing the pump repeatedly but very very lightly. I tried that and it sometimes works, so thanks! To sum up, I will repurchase this just to cover spots and pimples- it is perfect for that. But I will continue to use a separate concealer for redness/larger problem areas and under eyes.

I have tried using it as a primer, setting spray, spraying onto my foundation and highlighter brushes, to foil my eyeshadows.... nothing works for me. Its sticky to the touch and breaks out my skin, I actually think it makes my makeup fade QUICKER! I got this 50% off during a black friday sale at Sephora.
