This for me is a reliable foundation. My skin can get oily, and while I wouldn't say this keeps me completely matte throughout the day, it isn't cakey and stays on reasonably well. I'd say it gives me a natural-matte finish which is fine for me, I actually prefer to not have a really matte makeup look. Coverage is medium that can be built up. I wouldn't wear this for more formal occasions but I like it for everyday.

I sincerely wanted to love this because I am always on the look out for matte foundation that wont break the bank. First thing, I love that it is cheap. I love that I was able to find a color that matches my skin and even my undertone. Second, I like the way it blends out because I had no trouble whatsoever. Lastly, I didn't break out which is a plus in my book. Going to the things I didn't like, the very first thing I noticed is that it oxidized. I was warned that it did but the degree of oxidation was just too much. I also like to typically have medium to full coverage so using the amount I did turned me orange. I literally had to wipe it off because I would rather go bare faced than suffer through that. I know that this can be corrected with concealers and stuff but I'm a medical student and I do not have time to fuss around with foundation longer than I have to. Another thing I hate is that I really felt like it did nothing for my pore and fine lines. I actually felt it was exaggerated and that you could see the texture in my face. And finally, I hate that this turned my face so oily that after having worn it for about 3 hours and after sitting in an air conditioned room for most of the time, it still looked terrible. I had about four soaked sheets and that is not cute after just three hours. I gave this foundation several tries and still nothing. So I will be retiring this foundation and return to my loreal one.

I am a 38 year old busy mama of 3. Always go, go, go...... That being said I am looking for products that are pretty much bullet proof but wear well! I am and always have been a full coverage kind of gal. I would say my skin tone is medium olive/tan with yellow undertones and I have a combination skin type. I can get super dry in the winter time and oily as hell in my T zone areas during the summer. My holy grail primer was Smashbox illuminating primer but sadly they discontinued it. It took what seemed like forever to find a primer that even compared to it. Then I was turned on to Becca's backlight filter primer. Up until now I wouldn't use anything else. I kept hearing how similar Master Prime illuminating blur was, so......I gave it a go! I wasn't expecting anything special from a $10 primer but to my surprise it was absolutely in my opinion a dupe or pretty damn close to the Becca Backlight. It has a light lotion texture with a slight pinkish/ purple pearl luminescent pigment that melts into my skin flawlessly no matter what condition my skin is in. It took a couple tries to get the amount right which definitely makes a difference on how well it works. (I use a little more than a dime size of product.) Also it is important to give it a good shake to make sure it is good and mixed. It has a very light fragrance and had a slight tacky feeling until it sets into the skin. I apply this with high end foundations (MAC Prolonged Wear in NC40) and drug store foundations (Revlon Color Stay in shade 330) and the end result is always the same. I get all day, 8-10 hours, of flawless coverage that looks healthy and fresh with minimal touch up. The natural glow it gives blurs out my pores and fine lines which is a huge plus! When I am attending an event I will do my regular routine and at the end hit it with my NYX setting spray and I honestly get an amazing 14-16 hour wear. ( No bull !!!) I never have had a problem with flaking and I have never experienced an oily mess. Maybe in the summer some slight T zone shine but I just hit it with a touch of setting powder and I'm good to go! For the record I have not experienced any irritation or breakouts while using this product. Realistically not everyone will have the same result but for me it was a killer find. If you are looking for a more inexpensive option when it comes to illuminating primers I would absolutely check it out!!!

I didn't like it which surprised me because I have and love the fit me liquid foundation, the foundation stick and the loose powder. It would kind of bunch up in some areas and be the consistency of glue (just in the area it bunched up in) and it clung to dry skin areas that I didn't even know I had. I had been using their better skin concealer and like that much better than this.

It works great for me. The trick is to apply it using your finger tips and let it warm up a bit between then before applications. The price is great and makes my bare minerals powder foundation go on so smoothly

I am glad this foundation came back since I was a fan of the original Superstay foundation. However, there are a few differences in the formulation which I think is worth mentioning:Shade: 120 Classic Ivory matches my light-medium complexion. For reference I am a MAC NC 25 more 20 during the colder months.Consistency: It is a thick moussey product. I will only suggest using a blending sponge for application as it dries fast and you need to work in sections to make the application as smooth as possible.Application: Work in sections, do not dab this all over your face as this will set and will make the application patchy. I tried applying this in the center of my face and worked my way outwards. Also, use a hydrating primer if you have a combo skin. I noticed that it has the tendency to get a bit cakey. I also used Fix + before dabbing the foundation.Finish: Soft Matte FinishPackaging: It has a pump!Overall, it is a decent foundation. However, I really have to exert a lot of effort to make it work for me. If you are a makeup junkie, this is worth to try, Otherwise, if you are 10 minute makeup person this will not work for you.Hope this review helps!

Holy bananas - this is amazing. I haven't tried a product from Maybelline in a very long time. I've seen this being used on YouTube quite a bit, and have heard good reviews. I purchased this on a whim while it was on sale in the shade Porcelain- & it's a perfect match for my fair skin. This sets my foundation beautifully, and it looks so soft & beautiful- it even smooths out pores. My favourite setting powder from Too Faced has been discontinued & this has definitely replaced it :) I'm super happy I tried this, & I hope it doesn't get discontinued. I didn't experience any flashback in photos, and I just can't get over how smooth it looks. I apply this over foundation with a damp beauty blender, then really press it into the skin with a powder puff on my pores & around my nose. I kid you not, my skin looked close to photoshopped. I have tried the original Fit Me powder, and I never liked it. This matte & poreless version is way better.

I absolutely love this product! I don't normally rate make up items, but I love this one so much I couldn't help it! I've been looking for a dupe for the Kat von D liner in Trooper (I always love me a good dupe!) but I couldn't seem to find something that would stay on my lids + wouldn't give me panda! When I saw this on sale at a Maybelline counter I got my hands on it without even swatching it because my other eyeliner had dried up. I'M SO GLAD I PICKED IT UP! I think the tip is flimsy enough to make drawing a cat eye really simple to get near the lash line, plus it's very fine so getting that perfect flick is easy! I absolutely love this! I would buy it for full price once I've run out. It's so pigmented! It really is a true matte black! I usually get really sweaty (I live in a humid country) and my lids get oily pretty easily, but if I set my eyes with a translucent powder, this will last for a good 12++ hours (I've only worn it for about this long, but I bet it could probably stay on longer!)

Horrible foundation. Broke me out like crazy and I never have issues with acne. It also doesn’t blend well and the shades are almost all beige or pink undertones which isn’t great. Packaging is also shit for traveling, has no lid.

Really impressed with this concealer!I have dark undereyes and can never fully erase them, it's the hollowness of my eyes that causes shadows. However, this is a really decent concealer for undereyes and blemishes - dab on, and blended really gently with a dryish sponge. I find it lasts really well, and the colour Fair works well on my pale skin. Incidentally, it's darker than my foundation but blends well and doesn't look really light (I'm NOT a fan of the highlight under the eyes!).I find it lasts really well, it does crease under my eyes, but then, I have lines there so it would. I like the packaging because I can clearly see how much is left and the doe foot is small enough to be precise. It's relatively cheap, about £7 I think but Maybelline is often on a 3 for 2 in local shops. Overall, I reckon it's worth a go.

PROS :- high coverage, medium-plus-plus with 2 pumps in one layer (by no means, neither Estée Lauder Double Wear nor Revlon Colorstay reach this level of coverage with the same amount of product),- truly matte, powdery finish,- comfortable (no tight or stiff feeling, unlike Double Wear or Colorstay),- silky-to-the-touch finish without any tackiness,- does not suck the moisture out of your skin,- natural looking shades (at least the one I use) with a decent choice of undertones,- true pale shades (in UK, the shade Ivory used to, and still is, something so dark and orange on pale skin it’s just a fucking joke... but fortunately there is now the shade True Ivory),- long-lasting, though not as un(re)movable as Double Wear,- does not accentuate pores (there’s a slight blurring effect),- thick liquid, almost mousse-y (which won’t separate in the bottle, so no need to shake), but very easy to pick up and dot onto the face (the consistency reminds me of the Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse, but has a much better staying power),- no need for a separate undereye concealer (the coverage is enough for me to skip this step),- eye-catching square glass bottle with white cap and white pump (that works pretty well, the foundation doesn’t drip so the pump stays clean),- alcohol-free and fragrance-free.CONS :- the matte finish is almost dull/flat at first, but this soften as the day goes on,- dries too fast to be comfortably spreadable,- drags a bit during application,- cakey and pasty if you apply too much of it (but, fortunately, there's no need of a huge amount to get a high coverage),- creases a tiny bit (in the fine lines around my eyes and in the lines on my forehead),- low oil-control, but stays softly matte (except on my nose which, by itself, produces ten times more oil than my whole face),- not really transfer-proof (but, to be fair, in my country it doesn’t claim to be so), unlike Double Wear this one won’t stand up a light scratching (but does not transfer onto your fingers with a light touch),- has a slight white cast at first (just like sunscreen) that softens later,- the opaque coverage I get upon application tend to sheer out a bit after a few hours (which makes it more natural looking) but the foundation is still there,- oxidizes in two ways : the shade slightly darkens and warms up,- only 16 shades in US (and around 8 shades in Europe, SIGH) which is poor compared to the Fit Me Matte & Poreless 40 shades selection.THE KEY TO SUCCESS :- use less product than you think you need,- work in sections (because it dries fast and becomes unblendable),- SPREAD IT first with your makeup sponge (preferably a Beauty Blender or any good dupe of your choice), roughly, without tweaking, then come back and use the regular bouncing method to blend,- then set with your favourite powder, paying attention especially on your areas the most prone to breakdown or getting oily, set these areas with your Beauty Blender to pile and press the powder even further (my HG is the It's Top Professional Touch Finish No Sebum Pact from the Korean brand It’s Skin, a white pressed powder that applies as finely as a loose powder and has strong oil absorbing power with a lovely soft focus effect).>>>>>>>>> This way you’ll use less product and get less creasing (the thicker the layer, the more it creases and settles into lines). With this method I experience only minor breakdown around my nose, on my chin and between my eyebrows (which are my oiliest areas), the rest of my face gets slightly dewy but remains perfectly flawless.COMMENTS :Superstay had three incarnations : the very first Superstay, then Superstay Better Skin and finally Superstay Full Coverage. From these, the first had my preferred finish : dry to the touch and very powdery but the lightest shades were way too dark and too pink/orange. Better Skin was a total fail : gummy feeling, dirty finish and dull shades. Actually, except for my personal taste for a very powdery finish, the Full Coverage offers the most beautiful results of the three formulas.I use the UK shade 03 True Ivory, which is close to a MAC NC15 (but a touch less yellow, more on the neutral side), it begins at the right level of lightness but has a slightly too pink cast and, as the oxidization takes place, becomes a touch too dark but has more yellow undertones (which match my skintone better). I’ve ordered the US shade 110 Porcelain (true yellow undertones) to compare and will update once I receive my order.I also tend not to use any primer as (except for NYX #NoFilter Blurring Primer) they tend to produce just the opposite results of what they are meant to do : my foundation cakes like crazy, creases obviously and transfers onto everything. So, as I'm used to, I wear the Superstay Full Coverage over just moisturized skin. And, as always, I remove it at night with a cleansing oil (I tend to wear only long-lasting foundations due to my oily skin, so removing with a cleansing oil is an unavoidable process).Once you’ve mastered your best way to apply this foundation (like I’ve found mine), you’ll be amazed with the results.Kudos to Maybelline for working hard on the shades during the last decade, especially creating pale shades with beige and yellow undertones (and stopping believe that pale skins are always pink or orange). I hope they will expand the shades range, and match the Fit Me Matte & Poreless line (which has an impressive shades selection, the darkest ebony shades are gorgeous) especially because, when it comes to matching your skintone, a light coverage foundation is forgiving while a heavy coverage one is not.
