Masks -The Body Shop - British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask

on 6/30/2017 3:52:00 PM

Ive owned this for about a month and although my skin hasnt been very dry lately it has been dehydrated so ive used this quite regularly but honestly I dont notice a bit of difference in my skin when I use it. Its nice if left in the fridge and applied while cold, the light gel consistency is very cooling and relaxing. I also love the glass jar, its very reusable if I can find a purpose for it, tea light candle holder maybe? it gets a lipstick for not being wasteful but as for improving my skins hydration, toning my skin or plumping it up? nope, nope and nope!

I'll continue to use the product until it runs out, its cooling on a hot day and relaxing if ive got a headache, ive had no negative reactions to it but I wont repurchase.

Treatments (Eye) -The Body Shop - Vitamin E Eye Cream

on 6/24/2017 11:44:00 PM

I bought this product because I was looking for a good eye cream and this one was quite inexpensive and seemed cute ! After trying it for 5 months, I have mixed feelings about this product :

*Pros :
-kind of cheap
- a lot of product (I have a lot left even after 5 months of using it )
-reduce dark circles (it took at least 3 months but it really worked !!! I usually have really dark circles but thanks to this product they completely disappeared )
-Made my lower lashes longer, thicker and more voluminous
-works well with my concealer

*Cons :
-burns my eye !!! I once put it in my eye and it felt like I went blind! My eye hurt me so bad..
-didn't make my little wrinkles go away
-doesn't moisturise my under eye, the area is still dry

To conclude, if you are looking for an eye cream to help reduce your dark circles, this is the one ! But don't buy it if you want moisture because it doesn't do anything with dryness.

Masks -The Body Shop - Warming Mineral Mask

I have a new version of this mask (in a light grey tube packaging) with addition of ginger.

Holly Molly! This mask is a real vacuum cleaner for dirty pores and blackheads. If you are living in a big city, seldom see rural fresh air or a seaside and wear pore-clogging sunscreen on a daily basis like I do, it is a must-have.

I apply a very thin layer of it on a slightly wet skin, massage it in (it warms up for a couple of seconds which is nothing unpleasant, imho it is more like a gimmick) and leave it on for 10 minutes. It does not dry up like clay masks, which is a good thing in my books, it also does not contain any silly, irritating ingredients like menthol.

After a single use, pores are clean and non visible, which is exactly the effect you are after. So far I only had such results after a Origins charcoal mask but this one is cheaper and more pleasant to use for me (Origins' one contains a small amount of some 'cooling' ingredients which I hate). It also is very easy to wash off, no washcloth needed and the fact that your sink is not smeared in green goo is an additional bonus.

Cleansers -The Body Shop - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash

on 6/23/2017 5:16:00 AM

It is recommended to my oily skin. And I do feel it cleanses the face throughout but it leaves a really tightened feeling afterwards, which I do not enjoy. It might be a bit harsh, high in PH I suppose& not really do anything else except for cleanser. Quite cheap in promotion period& acceptable quality.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Hemp Hand Protector

on 6/23/2017 5:11:00 AM

The product is the only hand cream I ever used effectively moisturise the skin& not dry out too quickly. My friend has a cracked hand skin& it is his holy gail. The smell is really off though, I was complained that it is stinky& not pleasant. I therefore only use it in winter when my hand skin really nead superior thick cream to not cracking.

Treatments (Face) -The Body Shop - Tea Tree Oil

on 6/23/2017 5:05:00 AM

The package is quite inconvenient to get the product out. I sometimes has to tap really hard for it to come off, too much/ too little. The product feel lightweight on the skin but it is not so effective treating my acnes. OK quality though

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Fuji Green Tea Body Butter

on 6/23/2017 5:02:00 AM

This product is lightweight & easily absorbed. It does keep the skin moistured for a couple of hours. The only complaint is the artificial smell & it resembles no where near grean tea to me.

Lipstick -The Body Shop - Color Crush Lipstick

on 6/21/2017 8:48:00 PM

I picked up the color crush shine lipsticks in shades 17 (a light pastel pink) and 11 (a nude with shimmer). Both shades are very sheer and moisturizing. The pink shade immediately made any dry skin on my lips way more noticeable and was very unflattering. The nude shade was barely visible, it added a little shimmer and shine but not much else. I give these about a 2.5. The nude shade may get some use the pink shade I won't touch again. I would not repurchase or try other shades. Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick is equally if not more moisturizing and cheaper with a better finish.

Skincare - Face -The Body Shop - Vitamin e serum in oil

on 6/17/2017 12:45:00 PM

I dont think this is the best serum or oil product for me. My face is very oily but dehydrated and still need something to hydrate (even my face produce a lot of oil). I thought this serum in oil helps to hydrate and improve the appereance of my face, but actually it doesnt. Ive been using it like 3 months and theres no any significant result for me. So, yeah its a meh. And, i dont think i will repurchase this serum in oil. Im look out for something better than this.

Liquid -The Body Shop - Fresh Nude Foundation

on 6/16/2017 6:23:00 PM

I delayed purchasing this for such a long time as I thought it wouldn't suit my skin. I gave in this spring, when my skin was a little dry. I rally love this foundation - it provides a light, slightly verging on medium coverage with a healthy natural glow. It's not too dewy and lasts well on my skin, even now when my skin has changed with the weather (I've an oily t-zone due to combination skin). It doesn't cling tor dry patches but doesn't make me look oily at all. I love it and it has quickly become my every day foundation as it makes me look healthy and a bit more awake. The packaging feels sturdy, is hygenic, is easy to use and looks nice. I am really happy with this foundation

Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Vitamin E Moisture Cream

on 6/13/2017 9:04:00 PM

I suspect there is no high grade vitamin E in this cream.

This product is almost identical to johnson's baby lotion. Only johnson's baby lotion is cheaper and contains a lot more product.

Primer/ Corrector -The Body Shop - Vitamin c skin reviver

on 6/13/2017 8:57:00 PM

Too expensive for an under performing product,

They changed the formula. The old formula made skin look brighter. This new formula barely does,

the formula feels irritable and uncomfortable on the skin as the day goes on.

It smells nice but so what.

The product ingredients sound like they could be found in a toxic waste dump. My skin gets bad when I wear this more than a couple of times a week.
