This is honestly one of the worst sunscreen i have ever used. Its so thick and difficult to spread. By the time i have sort of spreaded it out, my face is all red and irritated. Furthermore, it seems to never dry?? Its too sticky and uncomfortable for me. Definitely not a good sunscreen if u live in a humid country.

Bought this after heavily researching a sunscreen that had no Avobenzone in it since it seems to irritate my skin. I also wanted something with a high zinc percentage compared to titanium dioxide.I think some people who wrote reviews are confused as to what they were getting themselves into when purchasing this sunscreen. It isn't the most cosmetically elegant, but it has great protection, it's practical, moderately priced, and very gentle for sensitive, acne-prone skin. Some things I noticed:- It doesn't dry completely matte like some chemical sunscreens, so if you have oily skin just be aware that you might be a bit shiny.- You have to really work this in, and finish off by PATTING the sunscreen rather than smearing it, so that you don't end up with streaks or uneven application. - This does leave a substantial white cast due to the high zinc content, but it dries down and isn't very noticeable after about half an hour. I have a fair complexion with olive tones so I am not sure how this would result for someone with a darker complexion.- The texture is actually quite silky and feels nice on the skin. Not gritty at all and it's easy to work in if you take your time.- You must shake the bottle to avoid separation of ingredients (no brainer). As a final note, as much as you want to only use a tiny bit, or think that "a little goes a long way", you need about 1/4-1/2 tsp. of sunscreen on your face in order to get the full protection benefits listed. Sure, you could smear half of that on your face and be done with it, but it's better to deal with a little white cast and have full protection. That being said, I'd rate the cosmetic elegance of this a 3/5. Not bad for a physical sunscreen, but I don't think it would sit too well under makeup. I don't wear foundation, but if I did I think I probably would not layer it over this formula.

Very basic, no-frills moisturizer. It's not a miracle product, but it doesn't irritate my skin so I'm satisfied with it. I use it on days where I'd prefer to put something light-weight on my face.

great orange scent, thick/rich lather and truly controls my greasy/acne prone skin without irritating it or causing any sort of pain as I have terribly sensitive skin. for the price this is my go-to cleanser.

Glad I read the MUA reviews and took the advice to buy this hand cream. It's pretty much perfect for me. It's hydrating but not greasy or sticky. It doesn't seem to be super moisturizing on its own, but it does a great job locking in residual moisture if you apply it just after washing your hands. It comes in a small, "purse-sized" tube that only cost me about $4/2 oz. It's easy to find in several local drugstores and grocery stores. And it is truly fragrance free.

The other reviewers are right - this formula is thick and hard to spread. I wish Neutrogena would spend more time perfecting the formula. However, this has a very high percentage of zinc oxide, which is the best UV blocker, protection, stability, tolerance. It’s not super easy to find an all Physical sun screen with 20% ZO. I save this for days when I’m going to be outside in the sun all day. With a fair amount of gentle patting around my face, I can get rid of the white cast. Sometimes I’ll add a drop or two of my liquid foundation to it, and that helps, too. And if I’m on the beach, I don’t care about the white cast. I’m past the age where I care what people think when they look at my face as I’m lounging by the pool or on the water. I want anti aging protection and that’s just more important to me. We just did Eurodisney and it was sunny every day, and we were out every day. I left all my other sunscreens at home and brought this one. I do prefer the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin SPF 60, the formula is much better, and that and EltaMD UV Physical are my go-tos mostly. Like I said, I save this for those times that literally I will be in the sun all day. And I’m happy with it for that.

I use this as a morning moisturizer. I've tried Clinique and while Clinique is great, it's also very expensive. The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream has a similar consistency to Clinique Moisture Surge - not quite as smoothing/silicone-y, but almost. It's very light and rather tacky when first applied. When used with a consistent routine, I've noticed it smooths my skin all day and allows for better makeup application, particularly concealer, even after using sunscreen. So for me, it's almost more a primer than a strict moisturizer. It also doubles as a morning eye cream, as my undereyes have been more hydrated since I started using this product.I've been using it for six months and just repurchased a new tub, so while the packaging is pretty deceptive (and a bit annoying), you're getting a decent amount of product. My Clinique Moisture Surge tub (the largest one) lasted about nine months with consistent use, for comparison. I don't use a ton in the morning, though, so if you plan to use it as a night cream, or like putting a lot of moisturizer on in the morning, you may go through it more quickly.I personally wouldn't recommend this for a night cream if you've got very dry skin, as I do. It's more lightweight than a lot of other night creams, like CeraVe or FAB, and doesn't seem to really hydrate my face overnight. I haven't experienced any breakouts from this product, nor have I experienced itchiness, red patches, rashes, or other reactions, and my skin is fairly sensitive. I don't know if there are sample sizes, but I would patch test before using it in case there are ingredients that react negatively with your skin. I would also wait at least a week to see results beyond superficial skin smoothing, since in my experience skin care doesn't always work right away.

Love this! It’s the only eye makeup remover I’ve found that actually completely removes the makeup. I have very sensitive skin and it’s gentle and I have never reacted to it. Considering how affordable this product is, it’s amazing!

My favorite eye makeup remover, the lotion aspect saves my skin from all that pulling and tugging.

This is very thick and difficult to spread. Goes on like paste. I am using it up by mixing it with St. Ives body lotion, about half and half, and then applying it to my arms and legs. I know that I am not getting the full SPF 30, since I'm diluting it, but my only other choice is to throw it out, since I can't use it as is. I couldn't imagine anyone smearing this stuff on their face (I'm looking at you, Jennifer Garner).

Stiff, heavy formula would not rub in, so I still got that dreaded white cast. (If you put this on your arm and rub it in with great force and repeatedly, it will dissappear eventually. Who wants to do that to their face? This might be an okay sunscreen to apply to your hands, since it really clings). This mineral sunscreen also broke my face out. By comparison Neutrogena's other flagship mineral sunscreen, the Pure & Free Liquid SPF, is far easier on my skin (but also leaves that ghostly goth finish). Total disappointment. Glad I only paid $5.50 for it on Amazon.

This stuff burns my eyes so bad. Neutrogena is known for making gentle yet effective products so when I saw this I thought it would effectively remove my stubborn eye makeup yet not leave behind a greasy residue like their Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover does. This lotion stuff doesn't leave behind a greasy residue at all, if anything it instantly dries out my under eye area which is already pretty dry/dehydrated already. This stuff burned the moment it made contact with my eye area yet my eye area is not super sensitive at all. I could not get this off my eye area fast enough. It also doesn't remove very stubborn, waterproof mascara at all. I have to go in after this stuff with my Oil Free Makeup remover (Walmart brand, cheaper than Neutrogena yet does the same exact thing for a fraction of the cost. At least the Equate brand doesn't burn). I've has this in my graveyard of disappointing products for about 2 years now, every now and then picking it up just to see if it'll work on me. It never does. I should have returned this when I first tried it out but I didn't, as usual with everything else in my cosmetics graveyard. 2 thumbs down from me and I don't recommend this at all to anyone.

This is a really good cleanser. I have only found one other that doesn’t contribute to breakouts, and it’s much more expensive. I really need to find a better soap dish or way to store it because when I do, I probably won’t buy the other anymore. If it’s stored damp or in a humid place, it basically melts into goo. That’s the only negative thing that I can say about it.

I LOVE this product. It's a staple I've used for years and years.... I keep a bottle in my shower; it's perfect post shower or bath when my skin is still wet... I put it on and air dry for super soft skin. And it is perfect as a massage oil - not greasy, and the scent is clean and subtle, even my boyfriend likes it.
