A sheer, MLBB color, Dolce Vita provides enough coverage for my brownish tinted lips to match the inner pink color where lips meet mouth, which balms do not do for me. If I pout my lip out, you cannot see where this lipstick ends and inner lip begins. Touch ups are needed every couple hours because I have a tendency to rub my lips together pretty frequently. This is my go-to for a clean, soft, no-makeup look.

The first time I used this I really didn't like it - it was so thick and even with a primer underneath and using a damp beauty blender, I turned into an oil slick within 2 hours! However, I've now discovered how I like to use it and now it's an everyday staple. It sounds like an odd thing to say especially for a foundation that is on the pricier end of the spectrum but this NARS foundation mixes extremely well with almost all my other BB creams and foundations (except the water based ones obviously). For all my Korean BB creams that I love the texture of but are always a little bit too pale/too grey/too neutral, I mix in 1/3 of the NARS (I use the shade Punjab - a very warm medium shade that is perfect for when I get too much sun on holidays but much less so when I turn 2 to 3 shades lighter when the season turns cold) to 2/3 of whatever foundation I'm trying to warm up or deepen (or make a little less matte!). The result is a natural satin finish that lasts for pretty much the whole work day!

Ugh... I hate to say this but this foundation is a complete fail. This looks so amazing when initially applied but as the day goes on (more like after an hour) this foundation just dties up so badly. My face looked like a prune at the end of the day. It settled into the fine lines around my mouth and my under eyes looked terribly dry! The foundation at first melts into skin and then reappears an hour later! The shade selection is amazing. 33 shades in all but the formula is crap. It didn't oxidize on me. Also, I have very dry skin. This might work for all y'all oilys

This is so thick and hard to spread for dryer skin under the eyes. It accentuates and settles in fine lines for me and just isn't a great look on my 37yo self. There are so many colors to choose from which is a plus and you only need a small amount so I can see this lasting a while if it works for you.

I drooled over this pallet! I had seen it reviewed on Temptalia before it's release and was just enamored with it. I wanted it SO bad. With it's $60.00 price tag I calked it up as something that i woudl just never own. My heart sank, but I accepted it. I would look at it from time to time admiring it's rose gold shades, and lovely glitter pans - but again, I knew that it was out of my range. Well low and behold a few months go by and I had an opportunity to purchase it, and I did! I anxiously awaited for it to arrive from Sephora. The only problem was when it arrived, I was quite surprised at the size of it, and the colors just weren't what I expected. I tried applying it on three different occasions - but I just wasn't impressed, the mattes really did go on like a dream, but the glitter shades? Not so much. Not anything like I would have expected. So, after much debate - I retruned it. That is a lot of money for an eyeshadow palette that you aren't sure about. I had received one from Morphe just the week prior that was hands down much better quality, at a fraction of the price. Just becaise something is highend doens't mean it's always great quality. Everything varies, boy this NARS product did. I was shocked - but NARS as a whole most always delievers. It just didn't this time.

Darn it, I wanted to love this so much after being directed to it at Sephora from a salesperson who swore it was what I was looking for. The shades were great. It was so super runny though. A lot of it dripped down the pump making it messy. It blended easily but was difficult to build any decent coverage. Not worth the hype and price.

I'm one of the few people who did not like Nars Orgasm. It would show orange on my cheeks with a bronzey shimmer that highlighted all my pores! I've been looking for a really subtle peach blush (without shimmer) that I could wear with bolder lips. In comes Sex Appeal! It gives of the faintest of color to my cheeks that looks natural despite it being a matte shadow. My latest hack is to use it as an eyeshadow all over my lid paired with black eyeliner. It's the perfect, easy summer look!

It’s just alright, not the greatest for the price. I’d rather use a drugstore concealer over this... The coverage is pretty good, it’s so thick that it creases even after setting with a powder. Also, the doe foot applicator is pretty scratchy. I prefer the tarte shapetape and maybelline fit me over this. The packaging is very cute tho

I haven’t written a review on MUA in over 5 years, forgot all my login details and literally just made a new account to vent about this foundation and warn anyone on the fence about purchasing this. I wish I’d read the reviews on this site before wasting around AU$70 on this (excluding the stupid pump which you have to buy separately!)- there is nothing ‘sheer’ or ‘glowy’ about it. It dulls your face, has a cakey, matte finish, and doesn’t look remotely natural unlike other high end foundations. Somehow it manages to be masky AND not actually cover any blemishes at the same time (it somehow dulls the skin without providing any coverage for redness or blemishes). It doesn’t work well with cream concealers either on top or underneath, because it never really sinks into your skin. Similarly, my powder bronzer and blush just looked odd on top of it. - this broke me out, terribly. The first time I thought it was just a coincidence because I had bumpy cystic acne appear on my forehead, chin and cheeks literally on the same day I used it, and I thought, nahhh, if the foundation were causing this it wouldn’t have appeared so quickly. Zits take a while to develop, right? I mean, this was so severe it was like an allergic reaction! Anyway, I stopped using it for a couple of weeks just to be safe, my pimples subsided, skin was looking nice so I thought I’d give it another go so I could give it a fair appraisal. This time I was sure it was the foundation (for the record, I normally get a few zits on my chin during hormonal times of the month but this was like every square inch of my forehead was clustered with bumps within 8 hours of application). After looking at the reviews here I realised how stupid I was not to read up on this before dropping so much $! Lesson learned. From what I’ve read it’s full of oils and silicones which is incredibly disappointing, considering both the price point and the hype it gets from beauty bloggers. - it never really ‘sets’, resulting in this greasy slick feeling, even after using setting powder. it sticks to, or seems to create dry patches throughout the day, and I don’t even really have dry skin. After a few hours it appears patchy and sits in creases, emphasising fine lines. This is the worst part, considering you think you’d get a bit of staying power from NARS. I applied this with a beauty blender the first time and the next time using a real techniques brush and no matter how I applied or tried to set it, it never really harmonised with my skin and other products.I really wish I’d just repurchased my Too Faced Born This Way (which comparatively is a dream, causing no crazy breakouts, blending easily, matching well with skin tone and texture, and actually giving me what I want for that price). Anyway I just wanted anyone considering buying this to determine whether it’s really right for them, or at least try to get a sample before sinking money into this skin wrecker! Just don’t risk testing it before an event. I genuinely have never had such an adverse skin reaction to makeup unless it was a primer full of cheap silicones, which is what this honestly felt like. Just not good for everyday wear, or in my case... at all.

Finally got mine in "biscuit" and loving it. It hides my dark circles well (though not the shadows from the bags), and a little goes a long way. It's creamy yet thick, and lasts the whole day.

Is it full coverage? Yes. Does it conceal imperfections? Of course. But it is not crease proof, and it definitely can look a little cakey if too much is applied under the eyes. In my opinion it’s better for blemishes as opposed to dark circles, but for the price, you can get drug store concealers that work just as well!

After I finished my last tube of concealer, I decided to give this a try and see what the hype was all about. I had wanted to purchase this earlier, but NARS did not make a shade that suited my fair, neutral/olive skin tone (NC20) until they recently came out with Creme Brulee. This is definitely a nice concealer, but I don't think it's as amazing as many of us have been led to believe.Pros:- Has a nice creamy texture with a satin finish, I would say this has medium coverage- Great for concealing discoloration all over the face; could be used for highlighting/contour- This is not reflective or "radiant" per se, but it does provide a sort of brightening effect to the faceCons: - Creases and looks papery as the day goes on, even after a healthy dose of eye cream!- Can become patchy during application, especially when adding more coverage. - Not the best for severe dark circles; good for brightening the undereye on an average makeup day, but dark circles and bags peek through unless you layer it on.-Not the most budget-friendly, though it is more affordable than some other concealers it competes with. Not enough bang-for-your-buck for me. Overall, I would say this is a pretty good concealer, but not something I will purchase again. I can see how some people may love this, especially those who don't like anything too heavy or a dewy finish. Perhaps I will have better luck with the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer, or something more emollient.

CLICK TO OPEN FOR A LIQUID-TO-MATTE DUPE!!!
I really can't say anything much else that hasn't already been said--it's been described to a 'T' & perfectly+ throughout in all the other reviews, so at the risk of monotony--I won't.
Suffice it to say they've all been startlingly accurate in terms of both amazing color and texture.
The only point where I differ is that my overall rating comes to 4.5, as I don't have as much of an issue with the price--I think a gem such as this is worth its weight in gold and am more than willing to pay the price.
MUFE # 203:
A LIQUID-TO-MATTE DUPE!!!
Also, I've found an EXACT liquid-to-matte lippie dupe in MUFE Artist Liquid Matte #203. I still recommend getting the NARS as it's a single quick-and-easy one-swipe application that you can do blindfolded; the MUFE requires more precise application; a mirror; drying time & potentially tweaking time--but of course has the benefit of LASTING POWER.

Love this pencil. Def not a color for everyday but when I’ve worn it I always get comments on the color. It’s really beautiful and unique. I’ve also layered it with NARS scarlet empress lipstick and like it that way. My daughter says I look like a “pretty villain” lol
