I've used PC Retinol products before, without much effect. This product however, delivers so quickly you can't believe it! Overnight my undereye mica were visibly reduced to almost nothing! Together with the AHA 30% BHA 2% peel from same brand, I've transformed my eye area completely. The rest of the face sees benefits too; less visible lines, feeling of suppleness and intense moisture from the squalane. It does feel a bit oily and will make your face a total greaseball for the rest of the night, but oh the feel and look the next morning is amazing! I alternate this with other antioxidant treatments in the PM. Three or four days a week is more than enough to see the benefits. Also, start slow, it stings like hell the first two applications :) will definitely keep repurchasing forever! I recommend it to anyone looking to try an effective Retinoid product; it's cheap, it's effective, and the stinging/irritation is mild compared to Retinol.

I've used glycolic acid before without any issues, however I tried to give this a go instead. It's a very watery consistency, which will run down your face, so you have to hurry up to pat it down/smear it. It has a distinctive odour, which to me smells like a mix between coca cola and fermented milk (both things I enjoy, so I don't mind so much). The results are great, my skin feels smooth & supple, the exfoliation is mild but effective. I will try out the mandelic acid 10% next, since I don't have sensitive skin, there is not much "need" to use this specific product. I think sensitive skin types could benefit from this mild exfoliation!

Visibly transformed my skin in less than two weeks! There is significantly less sebum clogging my pores, and it prevents future breakouts as well. It does dry up the skin a bit, but not nearly as bad as drugstore products! It you follow with AHA and moisturizer, you'll be fine. Will definitely keep purchasing, because of the price. Great value for a quality product, without alcohol, fragrance and other skin irritants.

In less than two weeks this transformed my skin completely! It feels a bit sticky and tacky, also stings my skin a bit still. I always follow up with a moisturizer, since this doesn't leave me feeling quenched. However, the long term results are amazing; significantly less breakouts, less visible pores, less redness of skin, and most amazingly: has faded many of my acne scars on my cheeks. I will purchase this until I die, and recommend it to anyone with congested skin issues. Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is a life saver!I put 4 in packaging, since it's very difficult to get the remaining product out. A pump suspension would be great.I uploaded a photo of my "before and after", which is from using the following products: Salicylic Acid 2%, Lactic Acid 10%, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, Granactive Retinoid 5%, Vitamin C 23% + HA spheres 2% and AHA 30% + BHA 2%.I put it up on this product, since I definitely see it working wonders on my acne scars and blemishes, which you can clearly see (no photoshop!). It's a HG product.

My skin type: dry, aging, sensitive, reactive.Decided to try this since my current argan oil (that's been my staple for years) wasn't cutting it anymore and for $9.90CAD, I figured it wouldn't break the bank if it didn't work out. After just a week of using this - WOW. It's thicker than argan oil, absorbs faster and deeper than argan and keeps my skin hydrated *all day*. My skin is softer and smoother (but that could be a combination of my other products working together) and it's actually helped simplify my skin routine (I used to have to combine several oils together to get this type of hydration). If you have similar skin type as me, this is definitely something you should add to your arsenal.

I didn't expect to be impressed by this. I have the Vitamin C + HA spheres by the same brand but it's very gritty and has a strange consistency; it's also very potent and there's kind of a tingling warm sensation that stays. I was looking for something lighter to use every day as an antioxidant under my makeup. This is definitely it. It's a very thin oil, I believe it's actually a dry oil (if it isn't, just know the texture is exactly the same as a dry oil). It means that it's extremely fast-absorbing, which I really appreciate. I use a lot of it (something like 8 drops) every day, I apply it on clean skin. I then follow either with sun cream or moisturizer. I could use it on its own, but being oily, my skin gets angry and oilier if I don't feed it moisture (also, it's winter, and I like extra protection). This oil is a great step, because it preps my skin, lightly nourishes it, makes it plump and soft. I feel like it's doing a good job as an antioxidant because I don't notice any pimples when I remove my makeup. I think about it as a sort of shield.I have noticed that my pigmentation is fading more quickly, however I have a very strong routine with various acids and retinol which help a lot too. All in all I really recommend it. It's one of the only 3 Ordinary products that I will repurchase- overall, I'm not a big fan of their range, but this is great.

Pros:Beautiful real-skin finishHides all my freckles but somehow still looks naturalDOES NOT BUDGEEasy to applyDoes not sink into pores or fine linesUseful pump bottleSo cheapCons:Implied to be high coverage but it is medium (which I actually prefer but it's a bit sneaky)Feels a bit dryingSinks into my (admittedly intense) mouth-nose smile lines. Probably not best for those with deeper wrinklesIt's so weird to me that there are SO MANY bad reviews - I'm even wondering if they changed the formula! I bought it January 2018.This is the only liquid foundation that has ever worked for me, ever. The Ordinary Coverage foundation looks like my skin, but flawless. You can't even tell I'm wearing foundation, but my skin is smooth and blemish-free. I bought the palest shade and it suits perfectly. I wear it with the High Adherence Primer by TO, and no powder over the top. I actually tried it with powder and it looked very dry. I will try setting spray in the near future. I find this stays all day, and I even have trouble getting it off. Before trying this foundation, I was literally at a loss. I thought I would never find foundation that looks good on me. I do have to be honest and say the only non-drugstore foundation I've bought is the Benefit Hello Flawless and it was unbelievably bad. All the others are drugstore, like Rimmel, Maybelline, L'oreal, and nothing has ever worked. Like it doesn't even look like foundation, it's like I've smeared oily-but-dry cream over my face, and it comes straight off if I touch it. Interestingly, the problems I have with all other foundations are what a lot of people seem to be finding with The Ordinary. And I see a lot of reviews that say this is the only thing that works for them, so I'm wondering if it's suited to a very specific skin type.I have given 4 instead of 5 stars because it's really medium coverage and they imply it's high (although I went back to the site and they don't actually say it outright; they actually say it "avoids a heavy makeup look"). It also feels a bit drying on my skin, though it still looks smooth. I wouldn't recommend it for people with more than medium-dry skin. Given the price I should probably bump it up to a 5 but I almost never give full marks. And it definitely oxidises, but it just happens to oxidise to my perfect skin colour lol

I am close to 50 and very skeptical of BS skincare claims. I hate to see women waste their hard-earned money. The main thing I noticed when I started using this stuff is that all my red acne marks lighten within a couple of days (I usually have much slower skin healing, so this was a marked change). Any zits would dry and heal quickly in a non-flaky, non-overly dried out way. My skin tone looks really fresh and more even. Not sure about any changes to texture. Last night, I tried using this right after micro needling and it seemed to be a good match, certainly more powerful than any other copper product I've used. I looked very sunburnt that night and the next morning, but skin texture looked plump and radiant.

I cannot live without this product! For all those that have negative experiences with it I just don’t understand how. I did have to stop using it to see how good it was and can now never be without it. It took care of the puffiness under my eyes somehow, my fine lines are gone and any wrinkles greatly diminished and no discolouration under my eyes anymore. How this serum does it still amazes me, if you used it for a month and didn’t see results give it another few weeks all good products take time unless your doing Botox which is immediate gratification. Love it, expensive for my budget but I cannot be without it!

I’m 43 with combination skin and I was looking for an anti-aging serum to use with the skin care routine I’ve been using for years. I tried this one because of the price and was pleasantly surprised ! I’ve been using it for 3 weeks now and already see a difference. Texture is perfect for me as my skin needs more moisture than it used too, especially in the winter when it tends to dehydrate. Great product that won’t ruin my budget. Really impressed and will buy again for sure !

I apply a tiny drop of this to cover my entire face and it helps keep me matte throughout the day. It helps soothe active pimples but I don't believe it does anything to prevent them. This is a great serum. I rotate this with their salicylic acid at night. Will keep buying.

Very efficient. It needs some time until you notice a difference (a month of so of applying every night), but it works with very minimal side effects. I applied a few drops of tamanu oil after this and it worked a charm! Highly recommend!

It could be a great spot treatment, but more often than not, it just burns my skin. Effective on cysts, but overall not worth the trouble for me, as then I'm left with a super dry and red patch of skin.

I saw this product recommended to fade hyperpigmentation and decided to give it a try. I've used half a bottle and I have seen some results as far as lightening pigmentation, however, the hyaluronic acid in the mix is definitely more of a problem for me than a help. It's winter right now and the climate in which I live is very dry. Add that to my very dry skin and the HA ends up pulling what little moisture I have out of my skin. So I'm going to shelve this until the humidity returns in the summer.Aside from the dryness caused by the HA, this didn't cause any problems for me. I don't have sensitive or acne prone skin, so ymmv.I also think I may try a dedicated hyroqinone product, rather than alpha arbutin, which has to be metabolized into HQ in the skin.I don't think this is a bad product, but I it's not blowing me away, and the hyaluronic acid in the winter is a problem for me.

So I used up the entire 15 ml bottle (lasted me from November 2017 to February 2018 with 2x daily use) and while there is about weeks worths left at the bottom it's pretty safe to say it does very little for me, despite all the novel ingredients and actually present delivery systems/carriers (PGLA, cycloamyloses etc) for them. I mean, the claims are staggeringly high, exceeding anything that even a prescription products or invasive treatments can do, but that's kinda the schtick for Niod, so what I actually expected was hydration and that it would at least temporarily give a smooth skin surface. What it did was slightly reduced puffiness in the morning and upon application my dark circles (I have thin skin under eyes so blood vessels are visible underneath, there are no dyspigmentations, so topical products are a futile effort for me) lightened a bit for maybe an hour, so same effect I get form any eye gel. Except I get sort of blood-shot look close to lash line from FECC. It also burns kinda like bad sunscreen if it gets into eyes.I have not seen any reduction of any of lines or lifting other people (blogs and YT reviews) report, I still have the fine network of crosshatched sun damage lines, still have my baby crows feet I had before using FECC.The FECC isn't particularly hydrating (unlike MMHC which is about the same watery consistency), but at least it's not drying (unlike The Ordinary EGCG+Caffeine).I also have the habit of using eye products on lips too, and upon application FECC low-key made my lips tingle a bit and turned them pinker, so I strongly suspect some stimulating action that also is responsible for the mild de-puffing action and short-therm boost in circulation. It also leads me to think that one or more of the myriad ingredients is either an irritant or I'm unlucky sensitive and it's just me. I'm claiming the former as I got the sets for a couple other people as gifts too and they report same thing from using FECC and the same lack of anything tangible (people who don't know anything about Deciem/Niod hype and don't frequent any online boards).I know Niod claims that their products are for long-term results and are kinda like an insurance policy for the future vs instant results, but I hardly think something that does virtually nothing positive for me over a couple months and shows all the classic signs of an irritating product is worth keeping. What bothers me is I don't know why I stuck with it at all.
