I've been searching for a full-coverage foundation that works as a concealer because sometimes I need/want just a little concealing, other times I want a full-face of foundation, and having "it all" in one tube helps cut down the number of products I need to keep around. I've used Clinique's continuous coverage for years but the availability is poor. I've also used Estee products in the past and felt that they performed well, so I decided to give this a try. Besides, the blue tube just totally appeals to me... if you look at the foundation lineup on any mu retailer, they're all boring skin tone beige brown or black, where this blue tube jumps out and grabs my attention, making it easy to find the tube. The opening of the tube is very tiny, I like this, so a bunch of product doesn't squirt out either, it's easy to dispense. For a concealer, I think it works well, a little seems to go a long way, the tiniest dot does my under eye area and a little around my nose. I tried it as a foundation and my first try was not the best... it seemed to cake up and after trying to blend it (and removing about half of what I put on my face) I got an ok face mu. I need to give it more tries, but I've already found a foundation I am loving...Also, it's a bit drying, my skin is dry anyways, but this takes careful prep to make sure I'm properly hydrated. It doesn't set up right away either so I have a bit of a chance to fix it, but once it does set, I don't notice any transferring.I guess I'm pretty lucky to have the right skin tone because the 1N3 creamy vanilla works for me, I feel like I won the Caucasian lottery and I have the ideal pale skin tone, and could find a tone that works even if I got some sun.

I love this foundation! A little goes a very long way. My skin looks absolutely flawless after. It also wears so well. I have gone to festivals mid summer when the temperatures are in the high 90s and been outside for hours, looked in the mirror, and been shocked by how good my skin still looks. It’s amazing. It can feel a little tacky at times, but setting it with a foundation is all it needs. It’s such a great foundation. You can wear it light or layer it. Dries semi matte. I love it.

I have bought this foundation three times. This is the King of all foundations for me. The coverage is buildable and about medium coverage when applied with a brush (I use a Morphe M439). If I put this on in the morning and go about my day I know it'll be on when I enter my house at ten at night. I always wear this and always get compliments on how great my skin looks! I have the oiliest skin, it's acne prone and I almost always have at least three pimples. I also live in a very hot, humid climate. I will say this is not matte. and I do get very shiny throughout the day but I am not a fan of matte foundations so that's fine for me. This breaks me out if it isn't washed off correctly, and by that I mean use more than a makeup wipe. I despise the fact that it has no pump, I'd like it more even if it was in a squeezy tube but this bottle is annoying. All in all though, a beautiful foundation and I would recommend it to everyone! (I have recommended it to my mom, three of my aunts, my sister, four of my friends and everyone has had great results with this!)

Well, this may well be my favourite foundation ever.
I used to be a fan of EL Double Wear the original, however the last couple of years I have avoided it as felt it is now too heavy for me as I am now 35. I would say age plays a part as I now look for a sheerer and lighter coverage.
It is a light and watery texture and I would class it as a light coverage. It evens out my skin tone but I have to go in with concealer on blemishes.
The finish is dewy on me and I have normal skin. I do set with powder and a setting spray and it still looks great 10 hours later, though maybe a blot is necessary but I don’t as I don’t mind a touch of shine for a natural look.
They have a great colour range and I found a great match for me.
I hope this helps

BB cream user here. I spend a lot of time on my lips and eyes but generally just smear a bit of (cheap) Garnier BB cream on my skin.
However, given that I’m staring down the barrel at 30 and given that my skin really isn’t that great (oily, red, pores, etc) I resolved to put in more effort, including using higher-end foundations.
-Surprisingly good colour match for me (True Beige)
-Not patchy, or whatever the proper term is for “not sticking to and emphasizing all the fine hairs on your face”
-Light and breathable
-(Totally not original but...) my oily face looks, well, oily. Maybe not much more than usual but the difference between this and a B.B. cream a fraction of the cost is negligible
-Transfers easily. I understand that the original double wear is famous for doing the opposite of this. Annoying in a corporate environment - my white shirts get lovely little (water resistant) finger prints all over them thanks to my bad habit of touching my cheeks while thinking
-INCREDIBLY liquid. I opened the bottle a little too forcefully and promptly spilled a third of it all over my floor.
I will probably buy again, but only because I have a soft spot for Estée Lauder (although the continued animal testing is threatening to change this!) and the colour match is good. Hopefully will stay put longer in colder weathers.
Edit:- possibly just because of my aforesaid oily skin, but I find that this NEEDS a dusting of translucent powder to finish it off. Sans this it just kind of “sits” on my face.

About 5-10 years ago I got an allergy from a "Daywear" moisturizer, so I've had my hesitations on trying this one :-)I've been using "sheer tint release" for about 1 week, now, and even if my nose is kind of itchy and my eyes slightly "burn", there is still no sign of allergy... (yet ?)I am a foundation-addicted person - I ALWAYS use foundation, not because of skin faults, but because I simply LIKE a young, beautiful-looking face :-) I usually like a discreet / sheer, fresh, semi-matte finish, while my T-zone is very oily by its nature, and the pores are large. My complexion is medium-light with rosy undertones (that I hate ;-) ).About the product: I loved it from the beginning. I loved the young, glowing looking of my face, I appreciated that no foundation felt necessary afterwards (despite my co-dependency :-) ), I even got the feeling that my T-zone got less oily during the day and my nose seemed to look... less swollen (I suspect that, due to cosmetic products, diet and age, the tip of my nose swells sometimes :-) ).About the Con's stated by others users:1. regarding the oiliness issue - using big quantities of the product it actually gives an oily look (so less is actually more, in this case :-) )2. regarding the dark/orangey tint - I've also noticed that INITIALLY the tint gets intensively dark and orangey, BUT after a few moments it seems to adapt and the final result is natural and glowing. 3. about creasing into wrinkles - I've NEVER noticed such issue !I presume that the persons that complain about the above-mentioned Con's tend to use big quantities of the product, which, in my opinion, is a great error. [The product gives a discreet glowing effect if used properly, so if you are a person that usually likes to "see" the products building up on your face... this is not for you.]Using a serum underneath - I've had the "Advanced Night repair", even if AM :-) - and the results were amazing ! I have this impression that the final shade of the tint oxidises differently depending upon what I use underneath. No orangey, dark shade with this serum.Overall - a good product. Hope I will not get an allergy after all...

Pros:Medium-high coverage Very long wearing Cons:The fact the bottle has no pump and you have to tip it out is irritating. For the price it should have a pumpPatchy and accentuates dry patches/acne etcBecause its so long wearing the colour is so flat on and dry/dull looking on

This day cream left a film on my face that I did not like, even during the winter time. I could have used the product up, despite the fact I did not like its "feel", but I stopped when I realized it was also causing slight irritation. YMMV of course, but after trying several items from the Nutritious line, I am staying away.

I wish there were more color ranges for darker warm toned people. Rich caramel is way too orange and rich ginger is too light.

This is hands down my HG, all time favorite foundation. I have really oily, sensitive skin and most of the foundations I have tried over the years had poor lasting power and oil control (by the end of the day I'd look a total mess). This stuff is amazing, I have been using it for about 3 years now and never looked back. My makeup still looks fresh 10 hours later. PRO's: - lasting power is amazing, it really does stay in place all day through sweat, heat and humidity. - mattifying; there's no need to blot or even use a setting powder. - does not transfer- excellent coverageCON's:- could not find a perfect shade match (I have yellow undertones and use the shade "tawny" which is slightly pink; I was matched by the SA)- every time I buy a new bottle I find that the price has gone up, its now roughly $42 (US). TIPS: Be careful of what setting powder you use as the wrong one can make this look cakey. Also use a thin layer of foundation as too much can look cakey as well.I give this 4 lippies instead of 5 because it's starting to get really pricey, but all in all it is a great foundation.

Now this is a lovely silicone gel primer. Not all silicone gel primers are the same. I have tried a lot to name a few... Smashbox photoready original- too silicone and heavy. Lancome la base pro- nice and light but the pump bottle and 25ml high price tag puts me off. Dior Forever primer- too liquid in texture, didn't do anything. Chanel le blanc- more of a highlighter than primer imo. This primer is really really lightweight, it almost melts into your face like you had applied nothing at all. It's a clear soft gel, has a slight subtle scent, it's not as hard as Smashbox Photoready Original so it easier to spread. My face feels really soft- my skin texture doesn't feel as rough or visible. My pores are still visible but feels smoothed out. It mattifies but doesn't feel heavy or cakey. Foundation glides on better as a result. It provides a really good barrier between skincare and the makeup. I wouldn't say this is a miracle product though, it will just help make foundation application easier and better.I have actually been mixing lately a tiny bit of the Estee Lauder The Illuminator primer to add a bit more radiance and bounce(I'm ageing late 30's), it works really well with this combination. I also wear sunscreen everyday which happens to be a tad oily, but this primer cuts away all the shine and greasiness so you can apply your foundation without it all going cakey or blotchy. This primer would suit all skin types, although if you are really dry or have mature skin, you might want to mix this with The Illuminator primer like I do. It cost me $50aud for 30ml and comes in a squeeze tube which I really like, I hate pump bottle primers. It is expensive but i'm really happy with these 2 primers and don't feel the need to experiment with other brands and waste money as a result. Estee Lauder make really nice primers, they don't get enough raves. I really hope Estee lauder don't discontinue this gem, because I'm sticking with it forever!

Used to be good but now they jacked the price by a whole 10 dollars now that more people are using it. Outrageous example of price gouging, and there are so many new foundations coming out in the 30 dollar range that there is no reason to keep buying bottles of Doublewear at 44 bucks. Estee Lauder is ridiculous. AND NO PUMP STILL. THEY WANT YOU TO PAY $10 FOR THE PUMP TOO, IN ADDITION TO RAISING THE PRICE BY $10! WILD!

I’ve been using this for some 15 years now and have occasionally fallen for other more hip brands like Bare Minerals, LM and Halo But always returned to this. It does all that it claims and then some. The colour selection is a bit problematic since the lightest is too light for my NC 25 skin and the next is too peachy. I fix it by wearing darker foundation and dusting it generously with the lightest shade. No matter how much I wear it’s never chalky it ashy. Love my Lucidity!

After brand-hopping for years, I returned to an old favorite only to better understand why I left. Unsure if my skin, the formula, or my expectations have changed, but it did nothing to improve my complexion. The over-powering scent leads me to believe that it has far more perfume than any active ingredients. What was I thinking? The search continues, but not at the Estee counter.

I decided to give up lash extensions after 2-3 years. I have tried many mascaras in all price ranges and was having a difficult time finding one that did not clump or flake. This is the best one so far. This one does a good job with one coat. One of the reasons that I had lash extensions was the time saving aspect, if I can save a step I will. One coat of this mascara gives me the look that I want. It does not clump or flake on me and my lashes do not look overly coated. It stays in place until I use a makeup remover. I like the brush. This will be my go to for now.
