This one has a nice matte finish and really locks in your base. It's kinda hard to add more base afterwards so make sure you're happy with it before setting. I'd say it has about a 12-hour wear time. It is rather drying, so at the end of the day if you have dryness it will start to show crackles up close. It's works well on very oily skin and if anything a small amount of oil leaks through, but I think that creates a natural highlight/glow. I think dry skin folks would find this too heavy. I also noticed the corn chip smell as well! However it dissipates before you leave the house.

There are 2 things that I am extremely picky with when it comes to makeup - foundation and mascara. I basically want perfection, haha.I've tried so many foundations and in the end they dissapoint or are just okay. I've seen and read about NARS Sheer Glow for a couple years now and finally got around to trying it. I've been using it for a month now and my god lord, this is perfect for my skin. For reference my skin is: oily (if I don't keep on top of my skincare it gets dehydrated quickly), some broken capillaries on my cheeks, large pores, not sensitive, some very very fine lines. No acne except for occasional. I use foundation to reduce any redness and even out my skin tone. I prefer a medium finish, which this product is. I'm really not asking for much ya know? I actually think the name Sheer Glow fits, because it looks like skin, not makeup. It's not cakey, thick, sticky, matte or shiny. I wear the shade Deaville which is a light neutral shade. It matches my skin so perfectly it's shocking. I was trying it on in the store and I kept asking my husband "does this shade match?" while I applied some with my finger. He was so confused and kept saying "I don't know, did you put it on yet? I'm not seeing anything on your skin". At first I tried applying it with my fingers as instructed, but it works far far better (for me) with a damp BB. I hold my, clean, finger over the top, shake the bottle, dot it on my skin and then use the BB. I let it sit for a min, then dust MAC blot powder all over lightly. I'm an RN. My job is stressful and non-stop for 8-14 hours at a time. I do not have time to pee, let alone time to touch up my makeup. If my foundation is just going to look gross by the end of my shift - then I'm better off not even wearing any. NARS Sheer Glow delivers. My pt's and co-workers comment on my nice skin, not my nice makeup- big difference. When I get home at the end of the day my face looks great. Like my skin, but better. Like any makeup, get a few samples from Sephora and try it out. I personally love this shit.

The finish of this wears well all day, and is the most matte tinted moisturizer I have ever used - I didn't see any "radiant" properties about it. The formula is watery - I found it difficult to dispense and spread a sheer layer, so it always went on a little heavy for me. I got some of this in the summer to try in a slightly darker tint, but used it only a few times because the color was off (my bad, but the lighting in my local ULTA was absolutely terrible until recently) and the fragrance level of this is super high - way more scented than any high end brand I've ever tried. So I took it back. I have a few NARS products, and the radiant creamy concealer is a great product, but this was disappointing.

I was recommended this by a Sephora employee. Coverage is medium, goes on really nicely and looks naturally great immediately. The foundation had a matte type finish on my sensitive/combination skin. I used my fingers to apply it as I do most of my foundations for a more even look. Instantly great looking but with time deteriorates. In a few hours I looked into my car mirror and it settled into my fine lines and looked cakey. Not a fan.Mine also for some reason never came with the pump so it was a messy glass bottle and I had to buy the pump separately...No thanks. The foundation is okay, but for the price you could do better with another brand, honestly. This one is ideal for perfect skin that is neither dry or oily.

I love this stuff! My shade is martinique, and it's dead on. It lasts all day, and I don't have any breakout issues.

This settled into the creases around my nose and under my lip causing my foundation to separate and look very patchy and dry in those areas like my skin was flaking off. Initially, I thought it was a silicone/water based problem or an issue with my setting spray, but after a year of trying this primer with various foundation and sans setting spray or powders I've come to the conclusion that this is just a crappy product. I get a much better poreless look using Benefit Porefessional under my foundation and setting it with Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I also use e.l.f. Perfect Finish HD Powder as needed throughout the day to minimize and shine break through.

This is a beautiful highlighter. Its very popping , however, in my personal opinion this is not the one for fair/white skinned people. It will look way too gold if you have light skin. But it's the PERFECT highlighter for tanned/darker skin tones. I kind of regret buying it but I will use this if I get a tan.

This is not a good concealer, especially for the exorbitant price. I have it in Vanilla, which is initially a good match for my skin tone but turns slightly orange a little while after application. The texture seems fine, but after a few hours it looks pasty, dry, unnatural and unhealthy. The coverage is mediocre. For the crappy unnatural finish I'd hope it would at least cover reasonably well (since there can be a bit of a trade off) but it fails at that, too.Bottom line: not worth the money, at all. I have tried a number of drugstore concealers that are superior to this one for natural-looking coverage, for a quarter of the price.

The mere thought of Bissful had me drooling. I am a die hard Sin fan. It is my HG fall/winter blush on my nw20 deep winter skin that brings out orange in any shade that has the tiniest amount in it. In the pan, Blissful reminds me of UD Rapture blush, but deeper. At first try, it looked a touch ruddy to my surprise. Then, it happened...it changed on me and started to pull orange. I don't know how this beautiful deep raspberry plum type shade did this, but I am not surprised. MAC Plum Foolery did this. UD Rapture doesn't quite go ruddy, but just isn't magical on me cheeks. NARS Sin I love. Apparently Blissful just fell in the badlands for my skin tone. And on me it does look more like it belongs in the Outlaw type family and not closer to the Sin type of shade because it pulls so orange on me.Now, that said, if you don't pull orange out of shades, this could be stunning. I almost cried in defeat when that orange ruddy look came out on me from this shade. Again, even the makeup artist was like "show me" and coudn't believe how much it changed.

NARS has done it again for fall 2017. Blissful is a beautiful shimmery deep plum/berry with a hint of blue sparkle. If this doesn't sound like something you'd like I'd still give it a chance since it's barely noticeable once applied - you can really only see it up close. It's got the usual great NARS texture: silky smooth, long-wearing and highly pigmented. Colorwise I think it'll be especially gorgeous on medium to dark skin tones, but if I use a light hand it's also flattering on my NC 15-20 skin. And the greatest part is that it's different from other NARS blushes in the same color family. It's darker and cooler than Outlaw, and darker and more shimmery than Oasis (which, when I swatched them side by side, looked like a matte with gold glitter next to Blissful). Sin is probably the closest one to Blissful, but it's lighter and has gold sparkle rather than blue. Overall, Blissful should definitely satisfy your plum blush cravings for fall.

I bought these as a set at Ulta to try different colors. Nice color range, but they are so difficult to work with. They feel nice as you apply them, but settle unevenly and into fine lines. And are really drying. My lips are rather dry so that may have something to do with it. But even after applying over a lip balm I could not get a smooth application. One plus, the color does seem to last long on the lips after the slight shine has disappeared.

To be honest, I bought this mostly because the packaging was so unbelievably pretty (yes to the metal and not rubberised case!) I love the idea of 6 different blushes in one palette but I thought I would only get use out of 3, at most 4 of the shades. I'm happy to say I was wrong. I'm NC20 and brown or coral toned blushes NEVER work on me, I always end up looking dirty. To my astonishment, Fame turned out to the the most gorgeous peach blush on me. I can wear peach! Hooray! Power Play is a matte light pink that's my everyday go-to blush, and Undefeated, with its slight shimmer, gives me a wonderful glow without screaming disco ball. How I ♥ Undefeated. I haven't seen a shade like this anywhere. I use Candid as a pop of colour when I need to look less "girly" and finally, Conquest and Hot Sand are the perfect highlighters for a pink and peach look respectively.I have never come across a palette where I know all 6 shades are going to get lots of use - for this reason, this palette is terrific value-for-money. All blushes blend like a dream, way smoother and less streaky than my Mac blushes. The only caution I would add is to say this palette really works only for light-toned girls (NC25 and below). Any darker than that, the shades are unlikely to show up on you.

# First, some information about my skin:I have combination skin that is often dehydrated and I use active skincare (retinoid, BHA or AHA, etc.)As a consequence, I often have flaky patches of skin, especially on cheeks, around nose, under eyes, etc. This foundation clings to flaky skin like a mofo. So moisturise well and use a silicone primer. But still tricky to avoid the flaking.# shade: Gobi (Light 3) -- I'm NC15-20. It's a good match, a yellow undertone but looks natural on my skin.# texture: light, runny. But it's oil-based, so shake well. (I don't think you should necessarily avoid oil-based foundation if you have oily or combination skin by the way, but that's another issue.) # coverage: quite good! I have post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation and get frequent breakouts - this foundation covers it better than the Sheer Glow in my opinion. It feels quite light on the skin, absolutely beautiful texture. BUT depending on the weather and if my skin is dehydrated (and therefore produces more oil) I find that my T-zone gets quite shiny after a few hours. My biggest problem, however, is that it's not quite long lasting. If I don't set it well, or even if I do set it with powder, if I sweat or if my face gets warm from drinking on a night out, the foundation separates on the surface of my skin - it gets a bit patchy to the point where it looks gross. But if I'm going out for a couple of hours, and am having a relatively good skin day, this foundation is no-fuss, light-weight and natural-looking.The packaging gets 3 lippies because holy shit does the lid get dirty and smudged - like all of NARS packaging ...

This goes on smoothly on my face but it always settles into my tiny pores. I've tried several foundations and this is the only foundation that does that to me. It didn't break me out, though, which is always an achievement.

I was looking for a lipstick with a bit of pinkish tone and the Sephora SA pointed this one out to me. At first glance, I thought it was too plummy for what I was looking for but after application I had to purchase this one. The color is so pretty on my warm skin tone, it's become one of my favorites! I tend to apply the Buxom Rose Julep on top of it when I want a more glossy look. GORGEOUS!
