I actually like this, I have combination skin and this works for me. I usually use silicone primers but this one is more of a cream silicone primer. It has a soft matte finish and helps control my oil. I’ve notices that my foundation stays on longer with this on too. I’m surprised by the negative reviews, it’s not the best but it’s not horrible either.

This is a brownish-grey, mostly matte, smooth creamy lipstick. It has good lasting power, although about half of it rubbed off when I ate. Very comfortable to wear, easy to apply. The scent disappears almost immediately. This lipstick is basically grey on me (light olive skin), with a tiny hint of brown. It washes me out a little bit (which I don't mind!), but that could be solved with some blush or a bold eye. I LOVE this colour. It's interesting and bold, but not too in-your-face, and still office appropriate (at my fairly casual office). It would be good to wear lip liner with this. One note, and this is why I deducted one lippie, is that the edges of the lipstick reveal the pink of your lip underneath - which might not bother some people, but bugs me because it makes it look less sharp. That said, if you are fair or not-olive-toned, this would probably look more pink on you, and therefore not be a problem.

Barely Branded is a pretty, shimmering champagne color that unfortunately disappears on my light-medium, yellow NC20-NC25 coloring. Although it calls itself “24hr,” it does crease on my very oily skin. I’ll be returning this one. If there’s a more pigmented color in this line that is less prone to creasing, I’d be interested in trying it.

128 Warm Nude matched my light-medium, yellow NC20-NC25 skin fairly well. Starts off slightly pale, but oxidizes over the course of the day to match. Its mattifying effect starts off too strong, making me look dull and flat; it clings to my every fine line and pore until about midday when my skin has produced enough oil to actually look natural and even kind of glowy. Unfortunately, by the end of a workday at the office, the foundation has started to visibly break up on my very oily skin. The sebaceous filaments on my nose seem to protrude more from my pores after wearing this foundation. If I were willing to put in more effort to make this work, I would try a primer, finishing powder, setting spray, and/or blotting papers. For now, I’ll keep looking.

I love it. It's waterproof and maintains the curl in my lashes. It gave them length and volume while still looking quite natural. The end result for me looked like my lil niece's naturally long and curled eyelashes ❤. Wore this through my afternoon nap and when I woke up 2 hours later, my lashes are still curled and it lasted to the night. The formula is quite wet but if you scrape all the excess product from the wand, it will give you the perfect amount of product to apply on your lashes. Curl first, then apply two coats and you're good to go. 10/10 would recommend and repurchase.

This is the one product that has and always will be in my bag. I will never not have it. I get the BIG with the voluminous brush and I have it in multiple colors (love the Brownish-black for fair skin or no-makeup days), including the clear, which is the OG brow gel. It's not too watery and not too thick, never flakes or clumps, lasts all day, comes off easily (even the waterproof with a little bit of coconut oil) and nourishes my lashes. Honestly, it's the best. I save the brushes and have filled the empty, cleaned out containers with castor oil to put on my lashes and brows at night.

I would repurchase ONLY if it was on sale and because the blonde is a great color for me. I got this in blonde 50% off sale for $5.00. The color was fine, plenty of pigment, BUT no way was I able to just put it on and it was done. Like Dipbrow, it takes a little effort. I like the formula, if you apply then use a spoolie and clean up the edges and just want some color, it works. The downside is after the first few uses the point is just rounded and it makes a huge mess so I just used a brush on the crayon like I would a regular pomade when it got near the end. I like Anastasia's better but the colors are just weird. I don't know how drugstore brands can get nice natural colors, but her line cannot, at least not for blondes. One thing I do like about the Maybelline is that if you goof, it wipes off very easily because it does not dry super fast. I put some of the pomade crayon on, then brush with a spoolie. Then I take concealer to shape and clean up the brow. If you just need a hint of color and aren't into perfection this will do it. I would recommend this to anyone who is just starting to fill in their brows because it applies much easier than a dip pomade. Downside, it smudges if you don't set it. Not bad but more than Dipbrow Pomade. If you can catch it on sale it's worth a try.for $5.00. However at the regular price of $10.00 for .04 ounces, if Anastasia Dipbrow colors are good for you, you get .14 ounces for $18.00 so it's a much better deal, even if you only use half before it dries out. So the Maybelline is definitely overpriced. Size matters and in this case the drugstore brand is more expensive.

This is a strange, weird and interesting shade of lipstick. I will call this my Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde color. Some days it goes on a deep reddish plummy brown with a greenish gold shift and other days, a dirt brown with a green shift. If I put a lip balm on before, it changed into a deep brownish berry with a metallic green/gold dusting. If I lightly layer it over Plum Perfect or any red/berry lipstick, again it changes the color. It also looked very dark on my face (I wore it for Halloween). As mentioned, it applies patchy, even with lip balm underneath. I wouldn't call this matte, it is too creamy and this didn't last long on my lips. It leaves a very faint stain. Same problem with the other colors in this line, (I also bought Hot Lava, an orangey red with gold shift but turned bright reddish pink on me). Won't buy this again. I'll stick with my Warm Me Up from the regular line.

First of all, this product does not come in my shade. I’m from Southeast Asia with light yellow undertone skin and I’ve tried about 5 different shades. The closest shade I found was classic ivory, but it was still too cool for my skin color. This was very disappointing because the product itself wasn’t that bad. It blends well, but it does get oily after a while. I tried this product out because of all the hype and it was pretty decent. However, I’m not a huge fan of the bottle because when I threw it out I felt there were still some product left inside. I would definitely buy this product again if it has my shade!

I enjoy using these pallette in this City Mini Collection they have a better quality pigmentation in comparison to the Nudes line. The packaging is just a simple transparent package nothing fancy but the shadows blend well, easy to build up give a moderate amount of kick back, and will give a good 8 hrs for staying power over all a good drugstore line from maybelline.

I tried this foundation a couple years ago and my skin did not react well to it. My hormones were going crazy then so I decided to retry it this summer and it works great! It looks beautiful on my oily skin for most of the day and I can extend the wear by blotting and retouching where needed (nose, chin, forehead). I do not have a lot to cover so it's medium finish works great for me. It looks like my skin, but better.

This was not waterproof for me. It didn't survive a hot tub, it didn't survive swimming. Neither did it add much volume or length to my lashes, which is fine since I like a natural look, but I was disappointed that after being in various types of water over different days, that it didn't even stay on in the water for me :(

I bought this after reading positive review on various websites, including this one. When i saw it on sale at my local H&M I was quick to pick it up. At first i liked it, it gave me porcelain skin and had all these acne fighting ingredients. I have been struggling with acne for 5 years, i get these closed comedones all over my cheek that are really hard to remove, almost every oil i use clogs my skin up. At the time i purchased this powder my skin was doing much better I only got maybe 5-6 closed comedones on my face in total, but it soon became worse and i couldn't figure out why. Anyway when i packed for vacation I only packed my loose setting powder from nyx in order to save room. On vacation my face cleared up entirely, sea water really helps, the comedones just popped out. Terrified of the acne coming back I only used the same products I used on vacation for months after. When I ran out of my nyx powder I went back to the betterskin and then little by little I saw my skin getting clogged up again, and the only thing new in my regimen is this powder.I couldn't believe it, this was supposed to help with my skin not ruin it. So I checked the ingredient list and surprise, surprise what did i find hydrogenated palm oil, which not only has a rating 4-5 on the comedogenic scale but also is awful for the environment since rainforests are being destroyed in order to make room for palm oil plantations. So disappointed in this product and maybelline in general, but im also disappointed in myself for not checking the ingredient list. Def do not recommend, plenty of other products that deliver similar and better results. this product went straight to the trash.

Maybelline is one of my favorite drugstore brands and so I was excited to test out this product. The Maybelline Master Fixt Setting+Perfecting Powder is good for an everyday use. I find myself reaching for it on a daily basis. It's affordable and does an incredible job at mattifying and making the skin appear poreless. My crater-like skin looks super smooth with the application of this product. However, it is not a good setting when taking pictures or for special occasions. It does leave a white sheen across the skin and has terrible flashback in pictures.I know I said it leaves a white sheen but the white sheen isn't too noticeable. I just won't be wearing this product for pictures ever. I'm definitely repurchasing it when I run out because of the affordability of it and its ability to do its job.
