I used this as a spot treatment in the evenings only. First few times I used it was fine, but eventually my skin started flaring up pretty badly and I wasn’t quite sure what was causing it. So I tried either leaving it to dry before applying moisturiser/oils, or applying moisturiser/oils and then apply this as a spot treatment afterwards. Regardless of how I applied it, I ended up with what looked like chemical burns the next morning both around the area of application and also on completely random parts of my face. If I applied it on my chin, I would also get burns on my cheeks. If I applied it on my forehead, I would get burns around my eyes. Once I stopped using it the burns went away and I haven’t had any flare ups since.

Does not quite sink into the skin the way you would want a hydrating oil to - just sits on top and slides around. Still provides a barrier for your skin overnight, but didn’t noticeably improve moisture levels, or anything else really. Didn’t break me out but is way too greasy looking to use during the day. Don’t bother with this, I recommend using the rosehip oil instead.

Have repurchased this several times. It’s the best value rosehip seed oil I’ve tried (Pai, Trilogy, A’kin). It does all the things that rosehip oil should - moisturise, improve skin tone, elasticity, reduce inflammation. It is also almost always out of stock in stores so it’s good to plan ahead when repurchasing. It doesn’t sink into the skin as beautifully as Pai’s Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil, or make my skin as bouncy, but it’s also less than half the price. The only drawback is that it seems to go off and smell rancid MUCH faster than all the other rosehip oils I’ve tried, maybe they keep their prices low by buying old stock that is near expiry? I just keep it in the fridge from the moment I buy it and it is fine, otherwise it will really start to stink and feel like you’re smearing sardine oil on your face. Definitely do not bring it with you on holiday to a hot country (never making that mistake again!)

Highly pigmented, a little goes a long way and it is very easy to apply and provides great coverage. I do not wear foundation on a daily basis. Only on certain occasions (weddings and other events that go on all day) will I wear foundation to keep shine at bay. This product is fine for those purposes and very affordable, but I won’t be repurchasing because without fail I will end up with clogged pores and minor breakouts (whiteheads and blackheads) the next day. Nothing so bad that I can’t manage it since I use it so rarely, but I would never use this everyday. When travelling I recommend taping the top to secure it in the “closed” position as I’ve found the product tends to leak because the cap isn’t very secure and can easily be turned to “open” inside your make up bag.

Did not see any moisturising benefits, or any improvement to fine lines or skin tone after weeks of consistent use. Doesn’t sit well under oils. I tried using under The Ordinary Rosehip Oil and The Ordinary Plant-Derived Squalene, and The Buffet serum would end up piling almost every time.

Dries to leave a sticky film that I could feel on my face throughout the day, pretty sure this is why I ended up with clogged pores and break outs. Did not see any of the moisturising benefits I typically see with hyaluronic acid-based products.Like a lot of other reviewers here, I found this piled under almost all other products, which is pretty useless given that it’s a serum and should be used under other products like a moisturiser or hydrating oil. Gave up and threw it away after using half the bottle.

No noticeable improvement in terms of brightening/tightening/depuffing. Dries to leave a sticky, textured film around the eyes that manages makes any fine lines look worse and more pronounced, and doesn’t sit well under make up.

If you have puffy eyes from crying or too much salt, this will work, but it does nothing for dark circles or wrinkles (it doesnt promote use for this). I heard it's good for cellulite but it didn't do anything for mine.

i do like it and I do think it works but let’s be realistic- it’s not botox, the effects won’t be immediate and spectacular. I am 36, i use it daily in the morning under my eyes, between my brows and on my forehead in general. It’s the second layer (1st is always hada labo lotion all over my face). I let it sink in for a minute and follow up with the rest of the products, yes - products. I have noticed improvement under my eyes and my forehead is smooth (i was asked again who does my botox...nobody, i have never had it done). This has to be a part of a routine for it to work and you need to be patient and... well remember this is not going to turn back time.It last a good while too, no adverse effect.

My eyes get quite puffy and this product seems to have diminished my eye bags to some extent - after 1 week of use! The product is runny like water and only one drop is required for each eye. Despite this, I am giving the product 5 stars for price and effectiveness. This works better than many expensive eye creams. I follow this with eye cream to moisturize.

I found this product when I was suffering a phase of adult acne. After 1 week, my acne started clearing and this has remained a staple for 1 year. My skin is smoother and acne marks appear to fade quicker too. Great value for money - I bought 7 bottles to get free shipping after my first bottle ran out. Lasts a really long time too. 4 stars as it dries to a sticky finish. I overcome this by following with moisturizer.

This product is extremely hydrating and sinks into the skin very quickly so that you can barely feel any product but you can notice the hydration. I like to use this after I cleanse and before moisturiser. It can also be worn underneath makeup. However, the product is extremely sticky and appears almost elastic. I did not expect this, and you can get more pricey hyaluronic acids which are more water-like in texture. I am also not a fan of the smell, but it's not too overpowering. Having said this, I do think that it is a great value product for the really good result you get, and definitely worth buying if you want a hyaluronic acid but don't want to spend loads.

This didn't do a whole lot on me. It does make my skin very soft, but that's not really what I need in my skincare. It might even out skin texture but I don't have too much of that. I wanted it to even out my skintone and perhaps do something about acne, but I haven't seen much after two months use 1-2 times a week. The price is right though and I like that it's colored so you can see where you're putting it.

This didn't do a whole lot other than even out my skintone, but for the price and since it's the only azelaic acid product I can get my hands on I will buy it again. I did quickly notice my redness go down and my skin always feels very soft, but it has done little about my hormonal acne. It's hard to spread so you need to use quite a large amount and will run out quickly but for the price I definitely think it's worth what it does, I'll just have to find another product for my acne.
