While it seems to cleanse quite well and I really like its yeast scent and texture, my skin feel a little tight after using it and I suspect that contributes to dryer, duller skin at the end of the day. I very much prefer NIOD's LVCE (although the scent can be off-putting), which leaves my skin clean but so soft.

I am on my 4th bottle, using it twice a day. My skin absorbs this watery serum very well and quickly, no residue. My sensitive skin feels comfortable and somewhat more elastic after application, it definitely contributes to keeping my skin calm, smooth and healthy looking. In the winter I have to add a moisturizer over it, in the summer this is enough.

I will absolutely repurchase this once I run out. When I found out Sephora now carries this line, I had to try out their products. I bought this, Buffet, and the caffeine serum. Love all three. Winter has been harsh this year on the east coast, but this product kept me from being flaky dry when out in barely above freezing temperatures. No breakouts either. It is thicker than what I usually like, so we'll see if I continue using it once warmer weather comes. But for cold dry winter weather, this protects my skin wonderfully. No scent either, which is a plus for me.

I have been censored from posting a negative review on their website. This is my honest review. This product is so sticky that my hair gets stuck to my forehead and cheeks. I don't wear lip gloss because my hair gets stuck to my lips when it's windy. Why would I use a product if my hair gets stuck to my face indoors and outdoors? I hate this product. I would never buy this again. What a waste of my hard earned money. I rate this as a negative 10.

Affordable with nice packaging but I do not consider this a quality product. Does not apply well, sits on skin and does not blend, and then it goes flakey throughout the day.

This product is affordable but I do not think it is very good quality. It dries my skin out and my foundation does not last the whole day. I would not buy it again.

Im new to actives because I have very dry, sensitive and reactive skin but this did not irritate my skin at all. I know that retinoids are a long term thing so I don't see any significant results (been using for a month now) but I'll keep using it since my skin seems to like it.

Was looking for a cheaper face oil (my usual is argan) but I found this isn't as hydrating/moisturizing as argan, nor did it have the lasting power as argan (felt my skin dried out a few hours later).

My first time trying this line and I was excited to try this serum to boost hydration. I have dry sensitive skin and this gave me some slight irritation (a bit of redness only) so I now use this on my chest and neck area instead of my face.. Great price, though

I am a believer in DECIEM's other products. Some of their The Ordinary and Hylamide (spelling?) products have done wonders for my skin. I've been struggling with acne, hyper-pigmentation, sensitivity and flakiness for years now, was on two rounds of Accutane, and the Ordinary retinol and glycolic toner cleared my skin up in a matter of THREE DAYS! So, I was super excited about the copper peptide serum for its supposed ability to heal, regenerate, prevent and reverse ageing etc, etc, etc, you know the drill. I bought the 30ml bottle as soon as the new, and supposedly improved, formula became available in November 2017 and started using it as directed twice a day all over my face. The sales associate warned me the product takes longer to show any affect than normal (the skin renewal cycle is about 21 days, so that's how long it would take most products to take full affect), but I was prepared and diligently used it for two months... Well, what a mistake!!! Not only did it not improve anything, it made my skin dryer and more irritated, caused those little white bumps all over my face, and actually created more fine lines in the under eye area! My skin, that had just been saved by the other DECIEM's products (that cost a fraction of the price of this serum), took a nose dive! I don't know what it is exactly, but there is some weird irritating stuff in this serum. It smells strongly of vinegar (doesn't smell at all coppery or of any metal), so maybe that's what's doing it.. But whatever, it's awful and it took weeks to get my skin back to normal! When I took it back to the store, the SA said it takes this about SIX MONTHS to start showing results! Are you for real??? There is not a product on the market that would at best show zero affect for that long, and then suddenly just start working its magic at the 6 months mark, and at worst - wreck your skin causing to age faster only to suddenly do a 180 six months later. What a load of horse poo! Anyway, I'm just glad they have such a generous return policy. Save your money and your skin.

I have used this several times with no change in the puffiness under my eye. As one reviewer thankfully mentioned, perhaps my eyes are not puffy for environmental reasons, which on others, this seems to help. Perhaps my puffy eyes are my hypothyroidism again, or genetic. Then nothing topical will alter it. So I don't blame this for not working for me. I think perhaps The Ordinary could put a disclaimer about the situation on their already wordy website. And ladies, I'm a doctor, if you have fatigue and unexplained weight gain, bags under your eyes, along with loss of hair, very dry skin and problems concentrating then check out https://www.nahypothyroidism.org

It has changed my skin, evening out the discoloration. Nothing beats retinol! The Ordinary sells Retinol 2%. That has made the most impact on my skin feeling smoother, and definitely and quickly decreasing freckles, discoloration, and hyperpigmentation. It's done this in two weeks, but I am able to use it nightly. Can't recommend enough! The bottle with the dropper works great. Looks great with all my face oils (I buy jojoba, sweet almond, and especially argan oil from Amazon for a steal). The dark bottle protects the ingredients from oxidizing. Many, many products at ten times the price have not had the impact that this does at $10. I have sensitive skin, and even I can use it every night (because of the squalene in it probably).FavoriteIs this review helpful? YesNo

I've repurchased this. The price is great, but only lasts 2 months, so factor that in to the cost. This is levels my skin feeling smooth, not tight, but very dry and matte. Of course I use moisturizing products after, so no biggie. It has changed my skin, evening out the discoloration. However nothing beats retinol! The Ordinary sells Retinol 2%. I really like this product, I mix a couple of drops of Marula oil with it and then apply to my face. When I use this product by itself I find it can be a bit sticky or tacky, but mixing it with the oil, or just applying moisturizer on top, solves that issue for me. I like to apply this in the AM after any serum I might be using, but before moisturizer. I am very dry in the winter, but come summertime in Oklahoma, the heat and humidity make my t-zone an oil slick. This combined with marula oil in the summer is sometimes all I need for a moisturizer.
