This foundation does control oil and is long wearing, it lasts all day. However, it is cakey, and it looks like your wearing a lot of foundation even if you use a smaller amount, and blend it in with a damp beauty blender with a good primer. It looks very heavy and crapey and my skin is normal/oily. I like this foundation mixed in with others or on top of other foundations, to build up coverage only where i need it. I love a full coverage but not when it looks like a thick cakey mask. This also oxidised slightly and emphasised pores. I dont think dry skin would like this at all. Its not bad for a night out, i know i can rely on it to last all night and at night no one can see my cakey face, but for day wear, big NO

When I first heard about it, I had to try it. I have been using ELDW for a year now because I find it to be the best for my extremely oily skin. But the downside of ELDW is that it is too high coverage and definitely makes me look like I have makeup on. ELDW also causes some acne if not taken off properly. I want a foundation that is matte but can also provide a skin-like appearance. SO I decided to try out the ELDW Nude Water Fresh foundation which is wonderful but it's not my HG or as good at controlling oil as ELDW. I have extremely oily skin and after a few hours I look really dewy and by 6 hours I am an oil slick if I do not use a setting powder or blotting sheets. This foundation does need to be set with a powder because it can settle into fine lines especially under the eyes. I have a love and hate relationship with this new foundation because once applied it looks like skin and has buildable coverage. I have used this foundation alone while at Universal Studios for more than a 12 hour hot day in the summer and it did fade gracefully by the end of the night. I just set the foundation with some setting powder and used blotting sheets throughout the day. So far, I have been mixing ELDW with ELDW Nude Water Fresh foundation and it combines the best of both worlds for me. But I do not think I will be repurchasing. Pros:Skin-like finishSemi-matte finishLightweightSPF includedBeautiful in person and on cameraCons:Poor oil controlVery watery

I have been searching for a moisturizer for oily skin that would keep me matte. There is no SPF which I prefer. It has a smell of freshness (yes weird description, but no strong scent) and feels amazing on your finger tips as you apply to face. It completely soaks into the skin and really makes your face matte. Yes! I also apply a tiny amount on my neck. Foundation (doublewear) glides on easily and stays put. Skip the primer. Now select the right setting powder. I use IT Cosmetics Bye Bye pores and my makeup is matte all day and my pores are in check. This is pricey for some, but compared to Chanel moisturizer I was using, this is cheap. This does come in a jar so make sure your fingers are clean. I wish Estee would use pumps. I got a free sample from the EL counter before purchasing. I just purchased the bottle, you won't be disappointed.

This perfume is POISONOUS... And that's why I love it 😊. I love florals, but don't want to smell girly, worship jasmine, but don't want to smell like my grandmother and want a smell that...scares people? Perhaps scares is the wrong word. I suppose what I mean is that I have plenty of perfumes with medium sillage that suit my skin and, while that's all good and well, what really makes me happy is wearing this completely unnatural harsh little bomb. It's supposed to be as clean as rain and flowers. If it's rain, it's acid rain and if it's a flower it's a carnivorous one. Obviously, this won't appeal to most but I LOVE IT.

Im on my third (or forth...) bottle of this now. Its great to use as a mask because you only need 3 minutes (I have small kids...) It makes my skin much clearer and less prone to breakouts. I use it as a mask 2-3 times a week. It can also be used as a cleanser and it lasts a long time so when Im on holiday I bring just a little bit in a small container and it lasts for week (and then I also have a mask with me)

Despite all the good reviews, this concealer is just not for me. It creases like crazy no matter how i apply it. I've used sponge, brushes, fingers. I've also used eye cream and primer beforehead and it just didn't help. But i'd say the coverage is good and this product is worth to try because it maybe doesn't work for me but it does for anyone else

I've used this about three times a week for years, along with the night repair. But heck I'm doing my best to go cruelty free. I am 53 and my best friend is 31. She is jealous of my skin. I'm also using Tretinoin, So my night repair is essential. I will find an oil to replace this. But this eye cream has to go. I don't believe that I can't replace it, The Ordinary has a lot of good products. I won't count the caffine eye serum, as that made me have lines. I won't buy again purely on the basis of the Cruelty aspect. If that dosent bother you then yes I'd say use this. But don't make it the only one you use. No7 has a really nice eye serum with a rollerblading. Keep it in the fridge it's wonderful.

I have color 01 Onyx. This is a very nice deep black eye pencil. I have very oily eyelids and this product stays on. Normally eyeliner even Revlon colorstay will transfer to my top lid. This stays in place. I don't use eyeliner in my waterline because must products fake off and get under my contacts and irritate my eyes. This product stays in my waterline with no rubbing off, flaking, or irritation. Yeah! But due to the cost, this will be my special ocassion eyeliner. Revlon colorstay eyeliner is my everyday liner, but not in waterline.Update 11/27/2017: This product compared to the Essence Gel eyeliner waterproof is lighter black. I used them side by side, I prefer Essence for the color and price. Also on a bad allergy day, this did not stay in my waterline. It started to look patchy since my eyes were so watery.

I do enjoy Estee Lauder but sometimes their fragrances are too strong or fake smelling. This Daywear Matte has a nice cucumber smell but it is slightly artificial. It did not irritate my skin, but some days the smell is overwhelming. The product does feel nice on the skin, but it did not penetrate. It just sat on the surface. I waited 5 minutes to see if it would soak in prior to applying my foundation. The foundation (EL Doublewear) applied nicely, but after 2 hours, my foundation was starting to separate and cake up around my cheeks. It also did nothing to help my pores , they actually looked bigger. I did not stay matte, but rather more oily.Try EL Clear Difference Gel if you are oily and want to stay matte.

I bought a full size jar of this on sale. It's a decent, entry level sleeping mask that offers hydration and a nice cooling sensation, but little else. The texture is nice, and you do get a lot of product for your money, but for what it does I do think it's overpriced. I typically layer this over a hydrating serum and facial oil. I think, given the consistency, that it could have been packaged in a squeeze tube, which I would have preferred. I like it, but don't love it, and don't plan on repurchasing.

First of all it oxidized on my skin within one hour after application. At the end of the day my skin look ashy.I have dry skin and this does not do any favor at all!Plus its way too expensive. But if it works for your skin, good for you because this is the only foundation that did not break me out.

I'll start with the pros of this foundation:-Photographs well-Stays in Place (the claim is not lying- I wore it for 8 hours straight and it did not budge)-Blends well-Does not cause breakouts-Excellent full coverage that doesn't look cakeyCons:-Oxidises-Difficult to find a match despite all the shades-Made my normal skin feel tight/elastic/stiff sort of like it has a rubber agent or something in it-My skin felt 'heavy' when I had it on (heavier than Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation)-Difficult to remove. I really had to scrub my skin to get this off, and even after I showered and exfoliated, there were still some traces of makeup on my faceReview:I do like this foundation and I think it is a good quality product that does what it says, and I will save it for when I am going out and don't want my makeup to melt off my face. Other than that, I just feel as if the cons outweigh this foundation for me over the pros. I have Olive/Tan skin with mostly neutral undertones. I was matched with Shell Beige- on application, this foundation easily looked 2 shades too light for my skin. Even when blended in, it still looked a little too light. However, I waited a couple of hours and the formula oxidized, and then it *mostly* matched my skin. It photographs beautifully in natural daylight, however I noticed once it became evening and into night, again, the foundation actually looked too light for my skin- with and without flash. Not entirely unexpected considering it wasn't a perfect match even with oxidization. However, if you have found a perfect match with this foundation, I feel as if it would photograph beautifully in any light. I have tried to try other shades, but the shades up from Shell Beige are too pink for my skin. I really wish companies would manufacture more darker shades for neutral undertones, but overall I think EL have done a good job of making so many shades available for different skin colors and tones as lots of people seem to have found their match with this foundation. The other thing is that this foundation felt heavy on my face- and my skin felt very stiff/tight when I had it on. I can overlook that though, due to the fantastic non-transfer qualities and coverage this makeup has.If they introduce more shades I'd definitely give it another go, but for now I wont be repurchasing.

Very pleasant product in absolutely subpar packaging! The "applicator" is a total disaster, smearing the thick gel product all over the small opening, I honestly wonder if the company ever even tested the packaging before shipping out this new product. It is so bad I was tempted to knock off two stars for the annoying container alone and I indicated that I will not repurchase - until the company fixes the packaging. Ideally, this eye treatment should be offered in a pump bottle. This would make it easy to dispense the right amount without contamination and air exposure, protecting the ingredients. With that out of the way, onto the product iteself which I really like: It is a whitish serum that moisturizes well, sinks in rather quickly without sticky residue and makes fine lines around my eyes less visible. My eye area feels soothed, plumped and pampered which is all I'm asking for in such a serum. Bottom line: I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for an improved container!

Amaaaazing product! After I emptied my Clinique take the day off balm, I decided to rebuy it when I got a text from Douglas saying they go on sale. But unfortunately, they no longer sold Clinique’s balm, so I asked for a similar product. Even though this costs almost double, I decided to buy it as a present for me (splurging is healthy haha). And oh boy, I’m so glad I did! Feels slightly smoother than the previously mentioned, a little goes a long way, it rinses off really easily. It is not too thick too rinse off as someone wrote, a cleansing balm should normally transform into a milky liquid in contact with water. It doesn’t strip all of the moisture off my face and I’m so so happy with it. It didn’t even break out my sensitive skin! I always double cleanse, so after this I use the cleansing cream from La Roche Posay, they do a wonderful job together. Of course there are cheaper options, this particular product is not a must, but balms became my favorite way to take off makeup, so I can honestly say this is a great one! Too bad for the price, but we all know Estee Lauder...

Terrible! Claims to be a 'dual' brush with 2 effects (volume+definition). It gives a mess, that is guaranteed. And like other EL mascara's, lashes drop down after a couple of hours, mascara sits under the eyes👎🏻... Waste of money.
