I really wanted to like this, tried it on in the shop. Perhaps I got a dudd, then again hands have a different skin texture to rest of body.
There is nothing to endear me to this product, quite the opposite.
The fragrance is so strong while it’s lovely to begin it becomes cloy and heavy.
The big scrub bits are useless to scrub. They are pretty harsh but hardly do any damage because they flick off easily anyway. The base lotion is so heavy in oil and minerals I felt like I was slathering greasy butter over me not scrubbing.
It held promises of hydration. Stepping out of shower can feel the moisturiser .. 1 hour after and my skin is squeaking dry and feels weird, not moisturised but like a plastic coating on top. Is it the minerals? It did nothing but make me itch. I had to go back and shower it off. And realise my towel has this coating too.
I only used a small almond size amount for the whole body too!
On another occasion when I realise scrubs bits falling off, I had dug in tub to get more scrub bits to scrub. Major mistake, felt like I was wearing a body suit after.
I have dry skin and moisturiser and body oils just sink in within seconds. This is just weird stuff that sits on top making skin feel drier.
I personally don’t like tubs for scrubs, water gets in and it’s gets grotty in the shower.
Such a ware of money. I gave it 4 attempts because I thought maybe needs a cooler climate. Wrong. Each 4 x I hated it and regret using it and wasting good money on this.

My go to foundation is the Dior Diorskin nude air serum. I know these foundations are nothing alike, but Ive been testing all sorts of foundations for something with more coverage and would be good over time (and the summer) for my oily, acne-prone skin. I got a generous amount of this tester from the body shop and had really high hopes for it. It has a bit of a scent to it which I don't mind. It is a full coverage foundation, and can go on a bit thick, but I realized after I few uses that I didn't need the amount I was using. Unfortunately, it oxidizes very quickly and really settled into my pores, even with mousturizer and primer. What ultimately disappointed me was that it dried out my skin, but in all the wrong places. It would patch up on my cheeks, which is an area that has always been baby soft and oil/acne free. After a week of using the product, my cheeks would retain those dry patches even with the makeup off. As for the parts that are oily, it would stay matte longer than most products, but was much too heavy for my acne. It would emphasize spots where I have acne and scarring, and didn't do much for healing them. I would stick with serum foundations as they are able to let my skin breath and acne heal faster. I really wanted to like the product especially after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, I will not be using this product again or recommending it to anyone.

This is a great, non-silicone, moisturizing (non-protein), deep conditioner for my type 4b/c natural hair. Not cheap but products that do a comparable job are 2-3 times the price. Just what I was looking for after a microdisaster with fresh bananas!

Bought this as I saw it contained no nasty chemicals etc and when I started using it I developed a red itchy bumpy rash and normally I never react to products and I take care of my skin. I was gutted when the rash came out I couldn’t wear makeup without it looking like I was covering up ache. Few of my friends said the same happened to them. To say it’s supposed to be for sensitive skin I’d never recommend to anyone nearly 2 weeks later and still recovering from the rash

I am reviewing the mist. I love the smell , but it hardly lasts / smells of anything after 5 mins . I douse myself with it , but still not lasting . I feel that the jasmine smell is quite strong , and I generally dislike jasmine smell but this combination is Super nice . It is not overly sweet / sickening too. Smells fresh and feminine to me .Will consider trying its other products in hope of getting more of the lovely fresh scent .

Though the product is pricey and it's not a miracle product it does help in drying out the pimples faster. It reduces the inflammation and size of pimples and dries out some in just one application however for bigger ones it doesn't work that way and the fact that this product is natural makes it good.I have been using isotretinoin tubes on recommendation of dermatologist but it damaged the skin so this is a better but lesser effective alternative however if you have cystic acne this product probably won't work for you.

I really, really like how much slip this gives my hair, even without any silicones. My hair is soft and manageable (as manageable as my curly, dry hair can get) after use, and it's moisturized but not weighted down. It's the second silicone free conditioner I've tried, the first being Shea Moisture's Curl & Shine conditioner, and I like this better. I like the thicker consistency and how it's easy to distribute through the hair. And I absolutely love the scent! I feel like it speaks to the child in me, because it smells like banana marshmallow candy more than actual banana. Admittedly, when I use both the shampoo and the conditioner in the line it borders on being a bit too much, but used alone I love the scent of this conditioner. I'm on the fence about whether to give it a 4 or 5 rating - really it's probably a 4.5. I can definitely see myself repurchasing it, but I won't stop looking for even better alternatives. + Cruelty free+ Vegetarian (contains honey)+ Silicone free+ Good slip+ Moisturizing but not heavy or greasy+ Delicious scent- Bordering on pricey, especially since I need to use quite a lot of conditioner- While the bottle is cute, it's pretty sturdy which makes it hard to squeeze product out

I've had a 30ml purple bottle of this oil since 2013. I really loved it back then. Now at this point in time, it's just a like for me. I like the musk, but it smells too clean for my taste. There's a note in it that sticks out that I don't like. It sure lasts a long time on your skin though, and it's a great bargain.

Many, many years ago, Buf Puf made a body puff and handle/holder that made it easy to give your back a really good scrub. These are no longer available and I've been trying and trying to find something that would make it easy to get my entire back really scrubbed and clean and I found it in this body brush. The handle is solid wood and I guess the bristles are made from cactus fiber - I don't really know. I wet this and put my body wash on the bristles and scrub away at my back and even use this on my legs, thighs and arms. When I do, I notice far less dead skin rolling off as I towel myself dry. My only complaint is that I wish the hole in the handle was a bit bigger for hanging it after use but I solved that by purchasing the type of cording that you find on those bath pouf things and making a nice, big hanging loop.

This is a decent skin serum-like product. It is similar in texture to the Belif Hungarian Water Essence, but much cheaper. My skin looked nice after I applied this product and it added a light amount of moisture. It is meant to be used under other products, but alone it might work nicely for oily skin. I might repurchase.

My product arrived with the top busted off and the shower gel leaking everywhere. Despite contacting The Body Shop twice, I never heard back from them.Terrible product packaging and nonexistent customer service.

The Cocoa Butter Lipcare Stick from The Body Shop USED to be my HG lip product and I am actually furious that it is discontinued. I decided to try this Vitamin E stick as a possible replacement.I hate it. It has a sickly medicine-y smell and goes on feeling filmy and strange. Even though it is a lipbalm it is not moisturizing in the least bit, felt drying on my lips, actually. Although the spf is a nice touch, for some reason The Body Shop added some minty stuff in there that really hurts and irritates my lips.I am posting this review here because it was "rejected" by the Body Shop and they would not post it on their website.

Absolutely awful! I used this over 6 months ago and I’m still suffering from acne to this day. My skin used to never have a blemish until I started using this spray. I have normal skin and when I used this my face became flakey and dry one day and covered in oil the next. I started off by having lumps under my skin which just looked like texture. Then a few days later, the most tender and sore spots came on my chin, forehead, cheeks. They were under the skin so you could not use any products to get rid of them. To this day I still suffer with a group of spots on my cheek which has no vanished since using this spray! Please do not buy this and be in the situation I was/am

I recently got into buying some 'less expensive' mascara's and see whether they can stand the test against their high end competitors. I must say that I am pleasantly surprised to see that drugstore mascara's actually can be very good. This body shop mascara falls in the middle price class (in between drugstore and high end) and does a great job in adding volume, length, separation. It does smudge a little during the day (hence one lippie off), but most mascara's do this to me. It seems to condition the lashes, so this is an extra bonus. I am a fan.
