I really, really wanted to like this primer. Like other reviews I first heard about it from Thataylaa on YouTube who loves it. However, now that she has dry skin I am wondering if that’s why she likes it. I have very oily skin and I tried using this for a good two weeks with different foundations. It definitely blurs pores; HOWEVER, within a few hours I noticed my foundations would start to crease in my smile lines which never has happened to me before. I also started getting more oily and my pores were super obvious. I blamed the foundations and the extreme heat here in South Florida. I just figured it’s summer and my skin is level 10 oily. But one day I forgot to use this primer and my foundation looked about ten times better. I started to experiment by doing half my face, not use any, use a different primer and realized the culprit of my oily large pores and unflattering makeup was - THIS PRIMER! If you have dry skin you may love this product because I honestly do see a reduction in my pores after initial application. But based on my personal experience, 1 lippie it is!

I use shade 110 Ivory which is a very porcelain pale, neutral colour. It's a light, easy to blend, buildable liquid, good coverage and sets quite quickly with a matte finish. I don't usually need any concealer or powder when I use this foundation. It has really good staying power and lasts all day. The only negative feature is that it can look chalky and emphasize any areas of dry skin or fine lines unless my skin is really well hydrated. It doesn't totally cover my freckles but it does fade them so they aren't noticeable unless you're looking closely.

I use this cuticle scraper together with Mavala cuticle remover. I brush on the remover, wait three minutes, and gently scrape away excess cuticle with the Cuticle Trimmer. I wet my nails, brush with a nail brush to remove the dislodged cuticle, dry, and I'm soon ready to give myself a manicure. I do this every two or three weeks, or whenever I see excess cuticle.

I like these, but I don't really use them as Revlon intends. I have 505 Impressionist and 501 Metropolitan. First off, the little glitter squares in the bottom right are awful and only stay in place when applied over a cream shadow or primer before it's dry - they won't stick on the shimmer powder "primer" shades for sure, and end up colonising my cheeks, chin, and shirt soon afterwards. The "primer" is the oblong shadow at the bottom, it is a powder intended as a base shade and doesn't act like a primer at all. It's very shimmery and as I don't suit such shiny shadow all over, I never use it anyway. The fallout is also pretty bad, instead I use cream shadows or eyeliners as inner corner/loer lid highlight so they don't get under my contact lenses. Then there are three shadows as you can see in the picture, the intended lid. crease, and browbone shades. None of the shadows in the palettes I have are matte, but they do vary in their level of shimmer. The lid shades are more satiny than shimmery, so I get the most use out of them. 501's lid shade is a deep cocoa brown with a satin finish, it doesn't go on super pigmented and blends nicely on the skin. It's great as an accent shade or over the top of brown liquid or gel eyeliners, softens harsh edges without looking dull. Same for 505's crease shade except that is cooler and greyer in tone, a bit more neutral, and 505's lid shade is a pretty neutral cafe-au-lait shade that does actually look nice used on the lid as intended, has just enough shimmer to brighten the appearance of tired eyes in the morning. I got these on offer from Boots so they weren't that expensive, although once they're gone I'd only buy the Impressionist one again since that's the one I use the most. Just a bit of a shame how much of a mixed bag these are.

I'm reviewing the Colorstay Foundation for combination/oily skin.I bought this because I read that this lasts really good on oily skin and keeps you matte all day. However this was too matte for me.The coverage is quite nice for something so affordable. I bought this in 150 buff, which is a litte darker than 110 Maybelline Matte and Poreless. It did fit my skin tone, could have been a bit lighter. I also noticed that the color looks a bit grayish on me.I didn't really like the smell of this as is was kind of chemical. Not too bad but I didn't enjoy it either. The finish of this is really matte. I mean... really really matte. I did cling to my dry patches and overall did not look very flattering on me. I prefer something more skin like and glowy. With this I think you could really tell that I was wearing makeup. It tends to look a bit heavy and I think the combination of the slightly grayish color and the matte look made me look a bit unhealthy. It did stay on really well throughout my 8+ hours day at work, so that's a plus.Overall, I think this is a solid foundation, if you are very oily. Stay away from this if you have dry patches or if you prefere a dewy or glowy look.Pro's and Con's+ covers well+ affordable+ keeps your skin looking matte+ stays on all day- clings to dry patches- looks very matte (don't buy this if you like a dewy look!)- 150 Buff looks a bit grayish (at least on me)

The coverage isn't very good, and isn't very buildable either.

Not quite sure why this colour has't been reviewed yet here, do they call in different name in US & elsewhere maybe. . . ? Anyway, the package says "Ravishing Rose", with colour no.20, with "shimmer". I was in search for something similar to that blush with naughty name (you know which one) which also has a bit of shimmer, and as this colour seems to be similar peachy pink tone, so I thought why not with this price tag. Now, the colour and the pigmentation are perfect, peachy healthy pink with a touch of shimmer, exactly what I was looking for, but I wish they stopped with "shimmer", not with glitters - although they are just a hint of it, you can definitely see the glitters in it, which divides whether you could use it daily or not (which I do). For nighttime or summertime use I think it'll look really pretty - but in the office during the day? Maybe not. But if your skin tone is olive to darker, then I think you can get away with it as highlight.

Tried this in demure. The color is a bit of a frosty nude pink....it definitely has shimmer that stays put even after the color is gone. I could only pull this off when I have a serious tan (I am fair skinned with redness). I have tried several of these balm sticks in all different brands and I think they just aren't for me......

I love this so much - I bought it in Unapologetic which is a bright pink shade. The lip crayon is very pigmented and it doesn't take a lot of time to build up some colour. I love how it doesn't feel as heavy on your lips as lipstick - I can barely feel it there! It also doesn't rub off as easily even when I'm eating!

Love this color, its a dark taupe/gray! A little darker than OPI Berlin There Done That. Looks great on my pale skin, all year round. The formula feels high quality too and I would have been fine with one coat, but did two just to be safe in all lighting. Nice and easy to control, no flooding. After appllying, I accidentally hit my nail against my phone and thought for sure I had dinged the polish, but when I looked down, nothing. Wow. It dried so fast that I was safe to go about normal life! Who knew Revlon was just as good as the other more expensive brands. So impressed and love the name!

Sadly this was a fail for me. The spoolie brush is a very sharp, hard plastic that irritates my skin when dragging across brows, For reference, I love the way the small comb brush from Maybelline feels kind of like combi9ng ones hair, very relaxing, so I was not expecting to hate they way this application feels so very much. Although the color is good, a rich brown shade a step down from black, I don't like how the product comes out if the center base of the spoolie not the bristle tips which is what I was expecting. This creates very a uneven application which I find really messy and disappointing but this product does make brows look fuller and whispy, not drawn on and harsh looking and I have to say that that I was not unhappy in the way my brow looked but I am not going to put myself through the sharp prickly applicator against my skin again. To make matters worse I think the product itself is irritating as well as my brow felt like it was were burning slightly after. Not good. I give it 2 points instead of 1 or 0 because I do like the color and separated effect. Maybe someone who is NOT sensitive would like this, but it makes me love my Maybelline and Loreal products all the more for not causing unneeded issues.

I am not sure why my co-reviewers are so critical about this product but here is my story. I have tried different versions of Colorstay since it hit the market for the very first time. The original versions were God sent in duration and lasting but I guess they caused some skin issues so the formula got more diluted and it was not as effective. The formula was then divided to combination to oily on one hand and normal to dry on the other hand. The other problem was the shade selection which did not get resolved even with the birth of the 24 hour formula. I have been using the combination to oily skin formula in liquid. I tried the whipped version but it was not sanitary and did not please me. The shade Warm Golden is the closest to my skin but it was getting oxidized on my NC30 skin. So I have used other shades such as Natural Tan when I had a tan in the summer. Not happy with the shade and latest formula, I wondered around with other brands such as Estee Lauded Doublewear which has broken my heart way too many times when I looked at my pictures. So I saw this in Ulta and tried the tester. Wow! The Natural Tan is an awesome shade and doesn’t look orange at all. I bought it and I am glad to report that this is very close to what Colorstay was at its birth. Some say this is the repackaged whipped formula but I see a better texture here. Also, gladly, the product doesn’t oxidize. Is it full-cover? No, but it is buildable to high coverage. Is it matte? No, it is exactly like skin. In fact, this is where Revlon won over Maybelline 24 hour full cover foundation, Maybelline can look cakey. This doesn’t look cakey at all. Also, unlike the liquid version, it can be removed much easier. Highly recommend!
