This is the cleanser I've been waiting for! I've tried pretty much everything in the drugstore and they either dried my skin completely, irritated my skin, or caused me to break out. I have combination skin and I made the mistake of over drying my skin out, not realizing that the more dry my skin is, the more oil it produces and the more acne I get. This cleanser cleanses without stripping my skin! I don't even need mosturizer after. The smell is great. The price is great. My face has a healthy glow after using It really foams up, I only have to use about half a pump to clean my face, so it lasts me a long time. I don't know what I'd do if they stopped making this cleanser.

This is my HG toner. Whenever I stop using it, my skin gets very unhappy and I start to see little bumps and clogged pores. Nothing else compares, this toner is the best! It REALLY deep-cleanses the skin. Neutrogena's Acne Stress Control Triple-Action Toner contains 2% salicylic acid and does an excellent job of keeping my pores clear. It's pretty strong, but there's no stinging. For reference I have skin that is combo-oily, clog-prone, and not particularly sensitive.I love how this leaves my skin refreshed and super-clean. There's been a huge improvement in my skin's overall clarity since I started using. I am on my 2nd bottle and I plan to buy this again and again. Very impressive overall.Highly Recommended!! A+++

I had really high hopes for this moisturiser after reading it was suitable for acne prone skin and wouldn't clog pores. However this broke me out almost immediately on the same day as I wore it. Although it feels nice initially on the skin, it doesn't combine with foundation amazingly and I also got some pilling where I must have put too much gel on...Fragrance doesn't bother me and neither does packaging if the product is good! Not worth the price tag if you have acne prone/sensitive skin in my opinion.

*Controls oil in my t-zone = yes*Reasonably priced = yes*Convenient packaging = yes*Easily accessible at lots of stores = yes*Will I re-purchase = sadly no. I can't get over the grainy texture and I don't have the time to pat it in, wait for it to set and then brush grains off my face.

I like this enough to give it 4 lippies but that doesn't mean it's perfect. You have to blend it into the skin quickly or it will set. I'd only recommend this foundation to those with normal to dry skin. It's also only light coverage. So if you have oily skin or significant imperfections (i.e. acne) to hide, move along. Now what I like about this is it's hydrating. Despite setting quickly it glides onto the skin like butter if you work fast enough. I'm oily, but sometimes mix it into my go-to super matte formulas when my skin is dried out from over chemical exfoliating. What sets it aside from a lot of foundations is it actually looks like dewy skin and doesn't have that make up-y texture. It also tends to blur textural issues like fine lines or acne scars. (Again, it's only light coverage.)The shade selection isn't great but that tends to be a theme with drugstore lines.I'd repurchase.

The version of this product that I have does not say "Dry Touch" anywhere. I purchased mine at Walmart in Canada. This product is really thick and leaves a definite white cast. It sticks to dry patches on the face as well. I do not recommend.

What's up with Neutrogena's Grapefruit line of skin care?! Just like their grapefruit moisturizer, this cleanser made my skin feel liek it was burning and angry. I'm so upset that this product is still available! It needs to be discontinued ASAP. I've found so many complaints about this cleanser and the grapefruit moisturizer as well, and they have both been around for years despite the reactions. SHAME on Neutrogena for continuing to carry toxic products.

A few years back during my freshman year of college I made some poor choices in my diet and drank way too much at parties. My acne came back all over my face with a vengeance. It was even worse than high school - it looked more similar to middle school/puberty acne! This stuff has been amazing in clearing my skin!! You feel a tiny burn from the acid, especially if you dare to have popped any blemishes, but it's just doing its work. It's been a lifesaver, especially this one time I got a huge pimple on my nose winter break and had only 8 days until I was going back to school. This stuff helped it clear in a week! Luckily my skin has cleared up since, so I don't use it nearly as much. I do get mild hormonal acne once a month, so I use it on a few spots now and then. 4 years since buying this, I can't believe that there's still plenty of product in the tube. You'd assume it would be used up fast due to its pint size tube, but theres still a lot of gel left! I still get the same "sting" and it's just as strong as day 1. Good value seeing how a little goes such a long way.

I bought this a few week ago on clearance at Walgreens. I was so excited that this would work because my skin only reacts to benzoyl peroxide. Unfortunately this does nothing more than bring my pimples to "a head". After which I'm faced with the dreaded decision of "popping" them which can easily result in scaring. On the plus side this product has brought about a glow to my skin. Overall I am glad I got this for less than $5. But will not re-purchase.

This is a lightweight lotion with retinol and Vitamin C to combat wrinkles and improve discoloration. I found that this was too strong for my face, causing irritation and flaking, so now I only use this on my neck, chest and back where I had acne scarring I’d like to fade. There’s no irritation on those areas. It’s already helped fade marks on my chest and the back ones are slowly diffusing. I also feel like the skin on my neck and chest is a little firmer, too. Because of the price (about $20 if I find it on sale), it is very competitive to other brands. RoC is only a little more expensive, but it’s heavily perfumed; and brands like Dr. Brandt (which I love and use on my face) and SkinCeuticals’ retinols run from $64 and up. I will keep buying this for my neck, chest, and back.

I remember this being suggested to me in my early teens as someone with extremely oily and acne prone skin. Hated it then and hate it now. After going on accutane about 7 years ago my skin has definitely cleared up but I am still prone to hormone and stress related breakouts on my chin and cheeks. Was hoping that using this once every few weeks would rid my skin of some of that extra oil during my breakouts. Wrong, I had such a bad reaction my skin was itchy, red, and slightly bumpy all while somehow being smooth at the same time? Would not suggest ever.

This is a decent size jar but a little pricey for drugstore IMO. The good news is you do not need to use very much and I really suggest you do not go overboard because it is pretty potent and can cause irritation. I use about the size of a large pea. It does not spread that far but I concentrate on areas I need it most and spread it out. It sinks in rather quickly and I did not feel greasy just lightly moisturized. That being said it is NOT a heavy duty moisturizer it is more of a treatment night cream so you will need to moisturize after to prevent the dryness and flakiness you can get from using retinol products. For my oily skin, I apply an eye cream/oil/ceramide cream to my eye area first and to the edges of my mouth then apply this cream in order to prevent it from irritating those areas. Because I have oily skin, I can use this all over without moisturizing every night and only top it off with a cream like CeraVe on occasion. However, I do usually apply a very small amount over the top to be on the safe side or sometimes I will add one single drop of bio-oil but you could add a drop of your favorite oil if you have one that works well with your skin.I just starting using this cream but I can honestly say my skin looks a lot smoother! Has it erased fine lines and wrinkles? No, but I am pretty impressed with the changes in my skin so far. I will update as I continue to use. I have only been applying at night, 2-3 nights consecutively and then taking a night off. I only carry it up to my undereye area ONCE during that time and only very lightly. I say this because the second night of use my undereye was a little red, dry, and irritated the next morning for a day or two and looked terrible. The rest of my skin's texture is looking improved already and my blemishes, although, not gone were smoother and less angry looking as well. My skin tone does, in fact, look evener.I am looking forward to seeing what else it can do. Side note:It is not fragrance-free and does have a weird floral type scent that I could do without as it is not very pleasant. Thank goodness it does dissipate after a while. It says you can use it night and day but I would start off using it one or the other, personally I would use only at night because retinol can make your skin more susceptible to sun damage. I have tried it during the day when I stayed home and it wore fine under my makeup using only a light layer. It is a little on the pricier side $24-26 and I have even seen it for $29 at some local stores. I only gave in and purchased it because Target had a $4 off coupon.

my HG moisturizer. i tried the night concentrate after my skin started peeling in the winter (even tho i had oily skin!) and it worked fantastic. this one is just as good but it in the summer. this is a good dupe for tarte's drink of h2o except this one is dirt cheap. will repurchase as a drugstore moisturizer.
