Gipsy is my fave red shade, probably my fave NARS lipstick. Dolce Vita is a good red MLBB but I don’t like in-your-face-reds so this is perf for me. Other reds I like are NARS Cruella/Rikugen; MAC Cyndi Lauper VG; elizabeth Arden brick, KvD Save The Chimps, & Clinique angel red. I can wear bright pinks but bright reds truly really scare me. I would rebuy this in a heartbeat if I lose it or use it up. NARS is cost prohibitive for me to own a lot of their stuff but every single thing I’ve bought from them was a big hit!! This is a warm brown red...brick...not berry, nor fuchsia. I am LLL NC20 Brown hair grey eyes this is a good shade for those who wear glasses!! #winning #babysfirstredlipstick (lol)

I found this gem on Ulta’s website so I took myself over to an Ulta brick-and-mortar-store to get this. It is a set (holidays?) with 6 mini Lip Glides which I’m not sure even if they are a liquid shiny liquid lipstick or a lipgloss. Get the set and decide for yourself? This is very heavy on pink hues. 5/6 of them are pink & 1 red thrown in for good measure. I actually liked the red, I thought I’d never wear use it but it’s not too scary. My fave red ever is probably NARS Gipsy & it’s brighter & more blue than Gipsy. All of the colors are new. I will post what Ulta.com said on their website about it below but for $45 you get 6 generous-for-travel-size lip products (gloss? Lipstick?) in colors that are ALL wearable. And 98% of sets have duds. No duds here. I ♥️ NARS. They are just so expensive. This is a $95 value I’m surprised it’s not more than $95 because one NARS full sized lip product is like ~$25 bucks (I haven’t checked lately on prices but I kno it’s more than $20). Your lips feel moisturized & not shriveled up like liquid matte lipstick. These fade evenly into a stain. I ate supper out tonight for example & the red was still there after eating BBQ ribs! Go me! Any serious lip product collector would love this under their xmas tree on December 25! Any serious NARS collector or pink lipstick lover would adore this I was surprised to hear Ulta sells NARS—I’m glad because I know a nice little Ulta off the beaten path that’s not a hassle to go to like parking at the Mall to go to Sephora is a pain & this Ulta has plenty of parking & isn’t mobbed. I take all that kinda stuff into consideration and also I send my dad to go into stores for me because I am a shut-in & the staff being friendly & able to communicate w him is important to me. Like the MAC counter brushes him off when the chanel counter has him treating hisself to chanel sunscreen for his face. See MAC is losing a potential sale! Chanel SA’s know how to play the game to sell him a $50 tube of sunblock lol werkkkkk!!! I want to buy more NARS so definitely repurchase something different maybe not this set as I don’t see myself using up all 6 tubes & im always on to the next latest greatest thing. But I ♥️ NARS this was a good deal all in all #winning As stated on ulta.com:-Only at ULTA!Lip locked and loaded. Glide and go with new, limited edition NARSissist Velvet Lip Glide Set. Confident color now in six new shades: Rapture, Night Together, Californication, Immoral, Staying Alive, and Burning Love.Velvet Lip Glide is an innovative hybrid lip formula that delivers highly saturated color with extraordinary comfort. I LOVE this concealer! A little goes a long way, so the pot lasts a while. It works great for dark circles, acne, and redness. It’s very smoothing, and cancels out the texture on my forehead from acne scarring. It doesn’t break me out (yay!) worth the hype!

This is a 5 star eyeshadow pallet hall of famer for me and it's certainly not my first trip to the rodeo with neutral pallets either! This manages to surpass all of my other well loved pallets to date because of the wearability of 11 out of the 12 colors. There's a great mix of matte and metallic shimmer with zero fallout. Such a well curated range of colors to satisfy the masses. There is a beautiful taupe and a silver metallic to add cool tones but overall it's a warm colored work of art. Very sophisticated. I love all the colors (except top left white shimmer) but especially adore the two middle peachy brown copper ones because they actually show up, stay put and add a little je ne sais quas as eyeliner enhancers UNDER my mature eyes without making me look 200 years old. Buttery, blendable, cohesive, flattering, and long lasting. Its easy to look like a makeup pro with this one, the eyeshadows practically apply themselves. A bit of my artliner and mascara and I feel like a queen! I can tell from experience I'll be panning most of these beauties and repurchasing. I never tried on at the store but it seemed very interesting from pictures and videos so I crossed my fingers and ordered it and it completely exceeded my expectations. Yay! Thank you Nars!!!

This is a very pretty and truly unique blush. For reference, I have fair/light skin with neutral undertone and occasional redness, and this color looks like natural flush. Of course, have to apply it with a light hand because it is super pigmented, and it is easy to end up with clown cheeks. The texture is very silky, blendable, with zero chalkiness, and zero muddiness. It isn't completely matte, the blush has just a hint of very fine shimmer, so you get satiny finish on skin, which just looks like healthy natural flush- no glitter, frostiness and such. I like NARS's Orgasm blush too, but the shimmer can be too much in my opinion, so I like Seduction better. It is a pricey blush, but you get a lot of it, and with its amazing pigmentation, it will last a really long time. In my opinion, it is worth the price given how wearable, natural, and pretty it is. There really isn't a dupe for this at the drugstore (there is always either shimmer, glitter, or odd undertones and shades). This shade is very balanced- not too cool, not too warm, I believe, it would look beautiful on many skin tones.

Well, this product was a hype, and definitely not worth my money. I have dry skin, especially my undereye area. I had high hopes for this concealer because of all the good reviews. The color I chose was custard. The texture was ok, and when I applied it did appear to be fairly creamy and can be blended easily with a concealer brush or my finger. Initially, the color looked fine and blends in well with my skin color, but it creases and sets in my fine lines within 5 minutes of applying it. Not to mention that after about 30 minutes to an hour or so, there is oxidation - the color changed to a much darker tone, making my dark circle look way worse. Definitely won't purchase again, I am not even sure how am I going to finish the rest of the product. I really wish it would work for me, but unfortunately, it is a complete waste of money

This is a gorgeous blush. As always, the packaging is beautiful and sleek and the mirror compact is a nice touch. Obviously, Nars blushes are really expensive but as with Orgasm, Super Orgasm and Sin, Blissful is so worth it. It's a gorgeous plum, perfect for fall. It doesn't look as dark once it's blended on as you would assume. It does wonders to warm up my face and pronounce my cheekbones a little more. The subtle shimmer is perfect and it looks good for day time. I shy away from it at night, since I try to focus on eyes for a night out and don't want to look like a clown with purple cheeks, as well. But it looks nice with a wide range of neutral eye looks and all different colour lipsticks.

I liked this--it's quite yellow which somehow worked on my pink skin. Heavily orange scented, which was kind of nice. But I had a reaction to something in this, my skin would be very hot and itchy. So in the trash it went.

I got mine in the shade Syracuse. I got a little upset on the first few wear because the color is a teeny bit dark on me but I felt really comfortable with the product so I didn't mind it so much. With that, this color fits best with me post summer season. Anyway, colors aside, I really love this foundation. It is lightweight and covers just enough to make you look like you have radiant even out skin tone look. I don't find it cakey at all, guess it depends on the application and yes I have to agree applying with the fingers are the best.It can get a bit shiny after on my tzone but if you set it with a good powder it should be fine.Price is quite pricey comparing to some other foundations in the same market but a bottle can last quite a time if you apply as what it said, a pump. (I personally prefers 2to3 pumps)Overall, I would include this in my staple foundation collection but I would probably go for the color Barcelona.

I have no idea what took me so long to try this - might be because I have been using another NARS concealer (soft matte). As the air gets dryer this Fall, I was looking for something more creamy in texture. I'm using it in Creme Brulee, and it blends beautifully with my skin tone. I know others often use this as a highlighter, so they go one shade or two lighter, but I am looking to truly conceal and wanted a match that would blend into my skin. I like the texture and haven't found it drying. This is my new go-to.

I have been searching for the perfect powder contour and this is The One. I have it in Talia and find the formula very easy to blend and the perfect colour. I have tried other products, but always found they sit on my skin and don't look good in natural light. This one looks flawless and undetectable (as long as I blend well!). I'm not sure how this formula would work on fairer skin, but on my medium skin (I'm dark brunette with very dark eyes), it's perfect. Love it and will re-purchase.

First let me say I am a dark skinned black woman with super oily skin. Heck you could fry chicken on it after a few hours with the amount of oil my sebaceous glands produce.Well I wanted a light sheer coverage foundation, that I could use with my Ole Henricksen face wash, toner, Murad mattifier and Becca ever matte poorless priming perfector. With the help of Makeup Alley reviews I discovered Nars pure radiant tinted moisturizer in the color Polynesia (Dark 1).This is that life you hear me. I went all day and my makeup stayed on point! Now my nose was a little shine by the end of the day, but my RiRi Fenty blotting powder took care of that asap. This is what I have been missing. If you want a fresh look, not too made up, natural glow by all means try this out. I do suggest you use a mattifier and primer along with a good face regiman if you have oily skin as this does not absorb oil. Yet this right here is 💯all day!

This is a review is for the pressed powder version, which they call a highlight blush. I'm NC 15 and this is definitely a highlighter, not a blush on me. This is one of my all time favorite highlighters. I'm now in my 30's and I love the crazy ones, but I was on a hunt for a more natural grown up highlighter. I tried the crazy pricy YSL invisible powder one and returned it because it was invisible, and I got this instead. First, I do dislike NARS packaging, just because of the rubber texture. But otherwise, this is normal packaging for NARS. Second the formula. This is a fairly firmly packed traditional powder. It's not glittery and it applies quite smooth. It's not very powdery but there is a little kick up. It's not very glossy but it definitely gives a sheen. This finish is exactly what I was looking for-it shows up but not crazy. For reference, I tried Laura Mercier 01 bronzer that's a highlighter and it didn't show up on me. MAC Lightscapade has been my go to for work. Hot Sand is on the level of Lightscapade for strength of glow, maybe slightly more. The shade is a fleshy peachy shade. It blends in very naturally with my fair to light skin. I don't have anything similar to it. Lightscapade is quite pale and sheer. Makeup Geek Luster is very metallic and more pink. It's the perfect pretty skin highlighter. The only other highlighter that gives a similar effect would be the Essence Pure Nude highlighter. The shades are different, Essence is more beige and gold. But the effect is similar. Those are my two my skin but better highlighters.

Owned this brush twice. I don't entirely know what I was thinking either time I purchased it, and I purged it for the same reason twice. I'm not the best with my money.Just don't bother. I wouldn't wish this brush on anyone. It is VERY SCRATCHY. And you know what? Twice I read reviews about how uncomfortable this brush is to use and bought it anyway thinking "hey, but the application is supposed to be amazing, so who really gives a toss".I think there was a time when this brush would have been the gold standard for applying ANY blush. Not anymore. The look is unique and awesome... too bad there are cheaper brushes on the market with the same look, so this one doesn't have a leg to stand on as far as aesthetics are concerned.Just do yourself a favor and get a Chikuhodo or Wayne Goss brush. WG14 is good. So is the Chiku z-4. If you have $50+ for a scratchy mess of a brush, you have the money for a Goss or Chiku, and you will see that this one is nothing special. Not anymore, at least. Mine is permanently retired, and I'll be damned if I ever buy one again.
