Straight to the point and utterly effective. Use it only at night, every night, mixed with a richer moisturizer and it works wonders to refine and brighten. Cannot be used around eyes as it dries out too much.

Sadly, this didn't do anything for my skin. I've given it a few go a few times, but never stuck with it long-term since I see no improvement of my skin whatsoever. I used and adored the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (EU version without benzoyl peroxide) for several years, but wanted to replace it with a cruelty free product. Sadly, this wasn't it. I actually bought it on the recommendation of Wayne Goss (the first time I heard about this company, before it exploded all over social media/youtube in particular), and needless to say I had high expectations. I'm acne prone and extremely prone to closed comedones, and this product didn't improve my skin texture in the slightest. If anything the silicone-y texture feels like it may be clogging in and of itself. I already smother my skin with silicone primers during the day, I'd rather not do the same during the night, to be honest. On the flip side - when the price is this low, you can afford to take a gamble and lose. If this works for you, then I can only congratulate you, because what a bargain.

I've been using this product for about a month now. To start out, I have very full lips already and I'm only 22 so I don't have any wrinkles around that area either. I was looking to get a natural redness and a little extra plump to my lips from this product. From the first use, I felt tingling, instant redness, and a bit of a plump. That happened each time for about a week, but now when I apply I don't notice it getting pinker, or even feel any tingling. I think my lip line might look slightly more defined and plumped than a month ago, but it's hard to tell. The biggest downside to this product is the drying. It makes my lips harden and peel like crazy! I found the solution of only applying it to the top lip, and to go slightly outside your lip line for a really plumped effect (the redness around your mouth will disappear shortly). My bottom lip is the dry one so I just avoid putting it on there altogether, and put lip balm on instead. With this technique I've been getting an even plumper top lip without the bottom lip drying out. Not sure if I'll buy again.

When you're in your late teens/early 20’s you can go out, drink, party til dawn, get just a few hours sleep and wake up looking the same as you did the night before. In your mid 20’s to early 30’s you can still do that, but now wake up with slightly puffy eyes. Still...no big deal, a few hours sleep or a quiet Sunday usually fixes it.Then in your mid 30’s to early 40’s that puffiness takes longer to go away (and “partying til dawn” leaves you looking A LOT worse for wear the next day). Even after a quiet Sunday you can still look baggy-eyed come Monday morning.(Such are the joys of life, ageing and biology). It's usually in response to this that we start investigating eye creams in earnest (that, and the fine lines that are now beginning to show).Sadly for most of us, by the time you hit your mid 40’s and early 50’s the puffiness under the eyes doesn't go away at all - no matter what you do. And most eye creams that are perfectly fine in the morning and during the day, just exacerbate the puffiness if used at night. So begins an unending search for that perfect night-time eye cream that won't make matters worse come the next morning.Like many women I've tried tons of them. (And it's akin to looking for the Holy Grail). The whole disastrous effect is exacerbated by the fat pads beneath the eye shifting and/or becoming more prominent, and the upper eyelids becoming drier so the skin has a “pulled” appearance.(I know. So much to look forward to!!).So - having tried and tested an absolute arsenal of eye creams - everything from Clarins, Restylane and Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair to all the cheaper drug store brands - I think I HAVE finally found something that works. Squalane. It seems to keep my upper eyelids moisturised and doesn't appear to increase under-eye puffiness the next morning. The Ordinary’s Squalane is environmentally-friendly being plant-derived from olives (as opposed to killing a poor shark for it). It's a very thin oil and I use a drop in my palm for upper and under-eye (1 drop for each eye) and I have to say it's the ONLY thing I've been able to use on my eyes in the last 10 years that hasn't accentuated under-eye puffiness the next morning. I haven't used it consistently enough to attest to any long-term effects, but for initial results I'm impressed.I've also been using it in the morning, before applying my makeup as a step-between my eye serum and eye cream/moisturiser and find that really helps to reduce and smooth visible under-eye lines and crepiness. Applied AFTER serum but UNDERNEATH moisturiser (eye cream) stops the final layer from being too oily, and minimises potential for pilling, balling or separating.I've heard nothing but great things about Squalane and imagine it would be very effective as an all-over facial oil. A little goes a very long way, and at $13.90 AUD for 30ml, one bottle is going to last for quite a while. At that price it's well worth looking into.

I'd heard of the benefits of rose hip seed oil so was very excited to be able to try this at such a low price. Unfortunately this is an average oil for me. It's definitely on the more moisturizing side which is good & it does not break me out (I am very acne prone and have combo skin). Quality wise, despite a product being 100% oil there can still be variations in quality amongst brands and I do believe the quality is lower here. The feel of the oil is much heavier and oilier than other oils I've tried. It does not absorb as nicely and looks visibly oily. I notice after only about a month of owning the product there was some build up/crystallization/crustiness happening around the edge of the bottle. Would I recommend rose hip seed oil in general? Sure, but there is nothing special about this specific product, especially since if you go to health food stores they actually do sell rose hip seed oil sometimes for around the same price. This one is just more cosmetically marketed.

Made me itchy and stung. Also caused breakout all over my face about four days after using, as well as sore under-the-skin spots, which I never get. Sadly no instant redness relief for me.

2% salicylic acid, without the stickiness and at the correct pH level. If your skin responds well to salicylic acid, go for it. Do it. Some people will find this irritating, that's fine. If you do, don't blame the product, you just have to take it easy. Use less, or don't use it at all.Don't mix this into lotions, it needs to be at the pH level it's at. Everyone knows Paula's Choice and their 2% salicylic acid "toners". I find them expensive and sticky. So sticky. This is smaller, yes, but you don't apply it on a cotton pad and throw most of it in the bin. A little bit straight on the skin. It dries very quickly, non-sticky.I find that applying twice a day on the chest and face, a 30ml bottle lasts me 2 months. I've already repurchased, this one's a keeper.

I have 1.2Y and it's the perfect shade for me. It's been hard to find a shade that is both light and yellow at the same time. Everything always comes up pink on me. Revlon's Superstay in Buff is called yellow-based but it's pink af on my face.I use only a little bit, less than one pump all over the face, blending with a Real Techniques Expert Face brush to really work it into the skin. Then I set the middle of my face with a little bit of loose powder. I do have oily skin but if I set this foundation with matte powder in winter, I find my skin gets dehydrated after a couple of hours. That's not a good look. We'll see about other seasons. I have worn it without any powder and it's fine, but toes the line between glowy and greasy.I find that this foundation does not break apart on the skin or settle into lines. I don't use primer. But this is winter so my face isn't as melty as usual. The coverage is great, but I'm not sure how well this would work for piling on thick. I suspect that, like all other foundations, it wouldn't perform as well as a thin layer. It also does not look good -- like every other foundation -- on peeling or flakey skin.I don't know what else to say. This is a high quality no-nonsense product. The light yellow 1.2 really, actually, truly is yellow, and light, but not super pale. It costs nothing, it performs well unless your skin is angry and irritated. In that regard it isn't different from anything else. Except it's cheaper and better than most. A+ from me.

I'm using several products from The Ordinary range, plus I'm back on the pill for a few months now so I cannot give credit to one product in particular, but my skin has cleared up something amazing. It could be entirely from the pill alone, but I doubt it. Niacinamide has been shown to improve acne, zinc helps the healing process. This has high concentrations of both. You may find it irritating, in which case, use it less frequently or don't use it. In any case, it's good value for money.

Bought several products all at once as the prices are great. You cannot go wrong to try out. I wanted to find something to help reduce lines. This is think, as some have said "slimy" odorless, colorless and lasts. It did not work for me as I had hoped an HA would. I will finish but not repurchase, nothing wrong just did not see any changes in my skin tone or texture.

I'm writing this review as a nice healthy angry zit develops on my forehead due to this product. I never break out on my forehead, so I know it's coming from this. As background, I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and I've never found an anti-aging serum that works for me (though I am still trying). I'm still on the hunt since this zit is too painful to ignore, but this product may still work for you. I just felt that I needed to post this review to warn potential buyers who have sensitive skin.

I am in love with this product. My skin type is combination and non-sensitive. I have a few scars from breakouts on my cheeks. I've been using nightly for over 3 weeks after showering. The product quickly sinks into my skin and I use the NOID multi-molecular hyaluronic complex as well. I think the biggest turning point was when I went to Sephora last week to get a Fenty foundation match and the makeup artist used a makeup wipe to remove my makeup. I told her that I was only wearing sunscreen. She said I had nice skin which I think is the best compliment. For only $6.80 CAD for 30ml, I think it's worth a try. Don't forget to wear sunscreen during the day!

I'm surprised there isn't more reviews on this product. I started using several of the ordinary products months ago and LOVE them. No crazy claims or added fragrances, also very affordable for my student budget...This product was a bit more pricey ($17) but I figured it was worth a shot as my skin can use some brighten help. I usually only use it at night because it takes a while to absorb. It seriously works. I also use it under my eyes. Seriously. (how many times can I say that) it has helped me! I also want to add that I have extremely sensitive and break out prone skin. like badly breakout prone. This along with all the other ordinary products I've started using have not given me any trouble (thank God, finally!). This product is also said to have anti aging benefits so I'll take it! yes I will repurchase. You only need a few drops so it will last a while too. Highly recommend it you struggle with sallowness like me.

I have always had such trouble finding a daily moisturizer that doesn't break me out terribly or flare up my eczema. My skin appears oily but is in fact very dry. This stuff is great for day time. It dries matte and gives me enough moisture. No new breakouts, which is great. I have got a couple tiny red bumps (not even zits, similar to a ladies earlier review here) but they aren't consistent so I have no clue if it's related to this moisturizer... I will continue to use this unless something changes. It's basic, nothing fancy or filled with fragrance and claims which is perfect for me.

I love this stuff. It's dirt cheap and effective. Though I still struggle with regular breakouts (very sensitive and acne prone skin) I am now nearly 26 and more focused on wrinkle prevention. I use this evening & morning (when I remember). It dries matte, and has honestly helped my skin. I use it under my eyes too with no issues. I will say I got a couple little zits on my forehead when I first used this but they subsided within a week. I will continue to purchase this. It's awesome.
